Vincenzo’s Little Italy II

We got a delivery order (this is one of the few places in the area that deliver and are open a bit later). It’s pretty good Italian good with generous portions. The vegetable panini was good. The eggplant parm delicious. Burgers are not bad but have too much sauce. The vegetable sides are huge and good pick of vegetables. Pasta in tomato sauce as expected, not earth shattering but good. The seafood combo was the only thing we were on the fence about but that was mostly due to the stuffed mussels. Would order again.

Start with a delicious family style salad, massive order of mussels appetizer that was delicious followed by the main course «tour of Italy» AWESOME!!! Good service, comfy, clean atmosphere. Did I mention desert? Tiramisu and cannoli’s were awesome!!!

Just ordered from here for the first time tonight. I’m kinda new to Pizza places around the shore area since we just bought a house here. We have tried the only one that delivers to us, Erma deli, and I am not a fan of thier food at all. I ordered chicken cheese steaks and a slice a plain and broccoli. Soo good… best I’ve had down here so far. Plus it was a fast carryout service and friendly staff.

Wish we had found this place earlier, if you want solid Italian food as well as great service try this place. Our server Toni, the best! Earlybird special served 3 – 530 is the way to go. Last night I had prime rib potato veggies glass of Chianti and dessert for 14 $ Jody had the tour of Italy Chianti dessert 13 $ you get also a huge salad 1 big bowl enough to feed 4 and a basket of hot bread. Total 30 $ if you are headed to this area try here, you won’t be disappointed.

Ate there last night, party of three. Gia, our server was attentive. The chicken parm was excellent. Our dinner came with a house salad served home-​style and was delicious and very fresh. Loved the dressing and the salad was quite generous. The bread was warm and tasty delivered with oil and spices on a plate for dipping. One of my companions had stuffed flounder and was quite pleased. It was served with fresh broccoli and smashed potatos. My other dinner companion had a chicken dish topped with crab meat and she was quite pleased. I loved their tomato sauce on the pasta. I would give this place 5 stars except for the appetizer I ordered, clams casino. The bacon placed on top was under cooked. Other than that everything was quite tasty and I would recommend visiting this restaurant for good authentic Italian dining. The dining room is comfortable and the prices are reasonable. I can’t wait to go back and try something else.

Delicious! Spaghetti and meatballs just like mama made and the hubs had scallops. OMG so yummy! With a bottle of local wine. We are stuffed!

Ordered salad with olive oil and vinegar — received salad with a thick italian sweetened vinaigrette. Not happy but no server to tell. No one came around at all! Couldnt eat it —so i gave it to hubbie.
Ordered tour of Italy: some spaghetti, 1 meatball, a piece of sausage: ok. But also 1 of the worse frozen ravioli’s i’ve ever seen. Thin, no taste and barely a swish of cheese inside. Worse than that: a rather large portion of gnocchi that were very heavy, packaged gnocchi like you can buy at the dollar store. Very disappointing!
Hubbie got chicken parm with a side of spaghetti. Small chicken breast covered with a sweetened tomato sauce and cheese.

Really great quality food and pleasant staff and you can’t beat the price. If you can get past the fact that you are dining in a strip mall you will love this place.

We have been going to Vincenzo’s for about 8 years now.
I can honestly say we have never had a bad meal or experience here.
The food is always fresh and portion sizes are huge. Great bread and large salads.
They do make a pretty good prime rib also, but check first because I think they may only have the prime rib on certain nights. The service has always been friendly and helpful.

Amazing eggplant parm sandwich. The pizzas are huge and tasty. The price is reasonable as well. Our waitress, Gia, was very friendly and attentive. She even made a special dessert for my best friend’s birthday while we were there. The entire staff came out to sing to her. What a great place to enjoy a meal. They make you feel like your at home away from home!

I thought this place was only so-​so, we came here with a party of 8 for a sit down dinner in the non-​takeout area. We all ordered pasta dishes and the menu stated that the dishes came with free salad and bread. Our table of 8 was given the same family sized as the table of two next to us. I liked the salad, the dressing was good but there was not enough salad to go around. The bread was pretty good.
I ordered chicken parmesan, I upgraded to the homemade cavatelli because I am sucker for homemade pasta. The chicken parm was okay, no very crispy and very heavily sauced, the pasta was overly sauced too. I thought the tomato sauce was good. Portions were huge and we almost all had leftovers. I was able to try the cheese involitini and the creamy tortellini/​ham/​pea dish, both were pretty good.
This is an OK place at best, and the prices are a tad high for the food.

Service was good and food was tasty. My husband had a veal dish. I had a crab cake with steamed green bean, carrots and red pepper medley… Very appealing to the eye. Get there before 5:30 for a $ 12.99 early bird!

Some of the best (if not the best) pizza in the county. Crispy thin crust with a great tasting sauce and high quality mozzarella. Haven’t had a bad slice yet and always look forward to grabbing a slice if in the area.

Stopped here on our way home last night for some take out. Got a large pizza, garlic bread and two sodas. The bill was only $ 18. The pizza was great, the crust was delicious. My son loved the garlic bread. Will definitely order from here again when visiting the area.
The take out area was also very clean.

My wife ordered take out this evening. Cheesesteak, three cheese hoagie, French fries. When I arrived, the gentleman at the register said the total and I could tell something was missing. I looked inside and a sandwich was missing. I repeated the order and the man who appeared to be the owner chimed in and said he didn’t hear a three cheese hoagie. I then had to call my wife and get her order again. Then they made my order in the back while I waited and my hot sandwiches were sitting getting cold. No apologies were offered and I was charged full price. When I got back to the house, my wife informed me the order wasn’t repeated and the person yawned while on the phone. The three cheese hoagie was satisfactory. The cheesesteak was lacking meat and the roll was over toasted or stale. The French fries are thick cut and might be delicious but were cold so hard to tell the quality. The location is clean but service and quality are lacking. I would choose somewhere else before going back.

Great food, great menu, great service. Vincenzo and his family have upgraded their old Mare Monti into a pizzeria/​restaurant experience that, in our humble opinion, is the best in Dover. It’s become our once-​a-​week, night-​out destination. Try the excellent pizza and subs; or go a little more upscale from the menu. And everything can be ordered for take-​out or delivery. Enjoy!

My bf and I were picking up some non-​vegan sandwiches for the fam and decided to order a sauce pie for ourselves– just a thick square Sicilian crust with pizza sauce. It was sooo good we ordered another one a few days later. Service was friendly.

A very good BYOB off the island. We have been here many times with between 4 and 12 people and never had an issue with the service or the food. The gravy (not sauce) is very tasty and I we have had many things on the menu. Prices are reasonable and we will keep coming back again and again.
