It’s always a pleasure to go to their store. They have absolutely everything you can dream of. A bit pricy though but I love when I can find all that I need without the need to drive from shop to shop. Their bathroom department is wonderful!

I like the wide selection of products. The staff was very helpful and available to assist.

Depending on what sales person you talk to depends on the attitude you’ll get. I bought an edger, got home to use it and it had no pull string. Go to return it and all of them had a part missing. If I wanted to shop at a yard sale, I would’ve gone to one. I drive the few extra miles and go to Crain why where I can feel better about spending my money.

This is a pretty good Home Depot. Have been here on numerous occasions and have always been able to find what I needed. Staff is very informative and knowledgeable about any and everything. Aisles are clean and organized. No complaints here!

Worst Home Depot ever. Huge lines. Why because all the check screens were broken. Two lanes were open but cashier stated it was break time. So he left. One lane open and the line went to the back of the store? No customer service. Where was the manager? I went to get a few keys copied and it took 30 minutes. The keys did not work either.

Not sure what changed, but Home Depot I like it. In the past, this Home Depot was a shining example of «The Big Orange Lemon». The store was always a wreck. The staff was never around. And it was generally a miserable place to shop. I hated suffering through the hell that was this store. All that ‘seems’ to have changed. In this most recent trip the store was well organized, there were staff in every other row restocking and keeping things straight. There was more than one check-out lane open, and no huge line. I don’t know what changed, but Home Depot PLEASE keep it up. This Home Depot store is now a nice place to shop. If it doesn’t go back to hell, I might actually enjoy this Home Depot.

This is your standard Home Depot, though on the smaller side. The isles and stick were neat, and the staff was helpful in directing me to the things I needed. When I visited it was rather empty and there was only one cashier on duty. The things I had were difficult to put through the self serve scanner. This was a minor issue. I don’t think they ha e a big plant/garden section but I am not completely sure.

i come here often as i have a new house. It is always quick and they always go out their way to help you. I even found a old church member from NYC. I do wish they would expand their seeds and growing section a bit more. I never have any problems here.

I would like to commend Harold on excellent customer service on Friday, May 10, 2013. I purchased a garage door online and it was shipped to the Capitol Heights location. After my contractor picked the door up and was in the process of installation he called me out to the garage to take note of several dents on the 2nd panel. We all know how painful it is to have to return anything and a garage door was out of the question. Because the damage was in the inside of the door I decided I would just capture a photo and deal with it later. I called home depot online and they told me that this was something the actual store had to handle. I called on one day and Harold was not in and the attendant«MO» told me that he would be in at 6A.M. the following morning. I gave Harold a call and he was so professional on the phone. I told him the problem and he immediately took down all of my information to process the claim and to see what he could do. I asked for a % off for the damage and he exclaimed that he didn’t know how exactly he could do that, but let him check some things out. Because I mentioned that I still needed the suset panels for the glass and would take a discount on that order he called the door maker, Clopay and returned a call to me. Let’s just say I am being provided new door inserts on the house and I am truly excited about that. Great customer service in my book with no questions asked. J. Harris

Although I prefer Lowe’s, I’ve begun to like this Home Depot which is near my home. After having difficulty with a home improvement contractor, I decided to check out Home Depot and their deals with roof replacement. Replacing a roof is expensive! However, it is well worth it with Home Depot! I had the roof, the soffit, and the gutters replaced. In addition, I have a 25-year warranty with the roof and a 20-year warranty with the leaf protector in the gutters. The cool part is that you can pick out the color of your roof! I never really paid attention to it. So, now, when I walk my dogs, I’m always checking out people’s rooves. The project took 2 days. The guys did a great job on the roof. They were fast and efficient. They cleaned up afterwards really well. I have been nothing but impressed with the entire transaction from ordering to completion! Stick with Home Depot as they know what they’re doing and you get some worry-free warranties!

It still falls behind the Lowes, which is down the street from it BUT, the Home Depot to me is not that bad. If the would just clean it up a bit. To the level of the Home Depot in Upper Marlboro. The people are helpful. They also know where stuff is located. I had a bad experience at the Home Depot in Oxen Hill, a bunch of people standing around doing nothing. Plenty of parking, hopefully Home Depot Exec. will get on its cleanliness

What makes one Home Depot different from another? They all carry the same merchandise and are usually well stocked on all. So what is with this one that gets my attention? Well this Home Depot is right around the corner from my office and that’s good thing cause when I need something for the office I can easily slip in and get the materials with no problem. If I need something for home I can stop through on my from work and be out in an eye blink and on a Saturday mind you. How is that so you ask cause Home Depots are the most crowded places to go from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. Everybody becomes the do-it-their self guru. Yes that is true for most Depots located near developments and suburban communities however this one is by a bunch of warehouses, a old Ames converted into a church and a post office all located in a sort of fall by the waist side strip plaza. Located in a rather industrial part of the Largo Capitol Heights area. So most of the customers who shop there are working professionals in industry they know what they need and are in and out in an eye blink. No long lines of people who don’t know one end of the hammer from the other end. Or those seeking as much advice on a home fix it job so they hog up all the employees just to get an answer for the mess they can’t figure out how to finish. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and straight to their jobs no goofing off here. But the most important thing for me is I can get in and out with in 5 mins try that at some of the other home Depots on a Saturday afternoon.
