Amazing store! Hidden Gem in so many ways! I felt like I hit the jackpot in their selection of so many one of a kind wands, lots, feathers, books, jewelry, crystals and so much divine feminine goddess energy I bought tons of stuff and will def be back.
Great place for healers and other practitioners. I bought many one of a kind crystals, goddess stones, jewelry, a tarot deck, a spray to calm my cat which works!
I think I was there for several hours talking to the owner and chere! Very friendly soulful helpful strong powerful energy! Go !!

Wonderful gifts with a metaphysical theme, such as crystals, goddess statuary, feng shui supplies. A little cluttered as it’s super tiny, which makes it difficult to browse all the treasures in a leisurely fashion.

This store isn’t about doing something or even having services given to you. Its about self discovery. I found myself wondering into here one afternoon, and now its become one of my favorite places to be. Every time I come I find a new special ring that intrigues me, or a book that I can’t put down.
There’s a sense of wonder and peace immediately when you come in the door. What is this place? And what are they selling here? But you won’t find pesky sales people, or judgmental idealists of any kind. Its more about having a curious mind. And if your open to the different possibilities that the Universe has to offer, than you might find something special while your browsing.
The kind people behind the cash register are open to assist but they won’t bother you as you browse the store. I found some aromatherapy sprays that I regularly use in my house that immediately help give me calm peaceful thoughts. The books I found have helped me to become more in tune with myself, and the rings I wear all have special meaning whenever i look at them. Its a very unique but wonderful store to come visit.

Anytime I go to Capitola, I stop by here. When you walk in it is all good vibes. The staff are always welcoming and love to help with anything. The last time I had visited, they expanded their store and added more room for readings. The ladies there know what they’re doing. Great location, about 2 blocks away from the beach and easy to get to.

Stopped in here while out and about. I kinda sorta love this shop and am so glad to see that it has weathered all sorts of storms.

The people who work here are nice and they have really interesting stuff there.

I have been going to this store since I was a small child, and thrilled that it is still in business. I agree with the previous reviewer that the floor plan and inventory needs a revamp, but that is the only flaw with this place. The owner and staff are friendly and welcoming. They have a wide selection of stones and pendants, a perfect one-​stop shop for crystals if you are in need. There is a sense of whimsy with the windcatchers, prisms, and greeting cards; making the metaphysical more accessible and friendly than some stores I have explored. I hope Avalon Visions sticks around, in my mind it is a staple of the Capitola scene.

First off… Gwen, the owner of the store, is WONDERFUL, and I never use that word, but it’s too fitting for her. She is humorous and peaceful to be around. Definitely comforting, motherly energy in the store.
They offer the Aura Visions photography here, and I drove from San Jose to get it done because I was too curious after seeing the same photography service at a recent show in SF and then finally running into my friends and seeing their results the other night. For those who want to know where they are at in terms of development and growth, seeing the color of your aura is really settling. Gwen was really informative about the meanings of my colors and the mixtures that it represented. She is extremely credible for these readings because she’s even gotten some of her writings published about Love Colors and auric colors. I even called in today (the morning after) because I had some additional questions that I didn’t get a chance to ask, and the questions were extremely pressing within me. The woman who picked up was kind. She didn’t seem bothered that I was asking the question (and that she wasn’t being compensated for it). You can tell that the people here aren’t greedy, and I am glad they are still in business.
For anyone who questions the validity of the Aura Color Photography and its accuracy, Gwen was able to pick up on the fact that my right knee was recently injured because there was a little bit of red and yellow in that spot only. When she asked me about it, I had almost forgotten that I had just recently tried to carry a heavy box from Ikea and dropped my right knee to the ground in order to set it on the box carrier. This happened only a few days earlier, and I had bled a little from the accident. It was such a small thing, I didn’t even think twice about my injury until she brought it up through the aura visions. If that isn’t freaky… Idk. Some people are too skeptical, I feel.
This place is located right by the beach, in a very beachy town in Capitola, so if you’re ever hitting the beach, this is an awesome place to stop by at. There are crystals and horoscope bags, books, and so much more to look at. Even with a citrine bracelet that I wanted to buy, Gwen reduced the price to $ 8 (originally $ 16) because she saw that the rubber string was about to snap for this bracelet. Her honesty saved me $ 8! I love this woman.
The stone pendants are a bit pricey though, but very beautiful. Pendants are expensive everywhere, to be honest. I got one for my mom who is born a Taurus, and both the stones in the pendant are good for her.

I splurged a little, but it’s worth it once in a while. Visiting this place is definitely an eye-​opening experience, especially if you ask questions and get the aura visions photography done.

I recently purchased a lovely blue topaz ring in Avalon Visions. The saleswoman was very friendly and helpful in helping me pick out a ring that fit. After 2 hours of wearing the ring, I decided it was not quite what I wanted.
I returned the next day and the same lovely lady helped me pick out a ring that was very suitable for my style and finger size. She was very friendly, helpful and supportive in my choice of ring.
I love this little gem of a store in Capitola Village. Beautiful jewelry, clothes, cards and fun little spiritual gifts. I come from Sedona, AZ and understand about the energy and customer service of stores — and Avalon Visions is top notch in my books in both these areas.
I will continue to shop here for myself and for gifts for friends and family.

The two stars are for «staying in business,» when others have failed. This store has some interesting things, but the Feng Shui is not great.
Too much floor space is given to greeting cards in huge displays.
They have nice jewelry, but need to invest in new glass cases — they are seriously scratched and the effect is to cheapen the jewelry.
Careful attention should go to the musical selection to go towards creating a welcoming atmosphere.
The entire store needs to be cleaned out and the inventory re-​arranged. Future buys should focus on unique metaphysical selections. .. each item should be chosen for spiritual impact…
I hope it stays in business, but it needs a serious revamping.
A sense of whimsy and beauty would go a long way.
