I love Dollar Tree because you can always find random things here that is a lot cheaper the regular stores. Such as, this trip I bought pens, notepad, bleach wipes, scissors and a cookie scoop. If I would have went to Target, Walmart or Bed Bath and Beyond I would have easily spent $ 20. The line was not long here and the employees are always friendly.

I love dollar stores. I wouldn’t decorate, garden, or make crafts, if it weren’t for dollar stores. I just wouldn’t be a able to afford that superfluous stuff. This is one of the smallest dollar stores around. It doesn’t have the best selection, compared to the one in Watsonville or the one in Scotts Valley. But at least we have one close by for those of us in SoQuel Aptos, Capitola… there are lots of nice people who work here and a few people who obviously hate their job, but that’s not all that rare these days.

Kids grow at a rapid rate. Kids wreck things at super sonic speed. Kids need to be challenged. Kids need activities. Parents(unless rich) need a place to satisfy parental doings and such from places like this. I came here on my walking adventure w/the kids to get a few things. I got my daughter a dry/erase poster board so that she can write down her chores. Right now she is doing laundry, vacuuming her room, and making sure the night light is off and that her bed is made every morning. If she wants to earn $ 5, she will need to work for it. My son is 2 but that doesn’t mean he gets to be unchallenged. I bought him a foam football and an activity book that I took the time to do w/him that afternoon. He actually ripped the thing to shreds after I took some time to be in the kitchen. My fault. He needs to be locked up w/o anything he can touch [haha]. At least I only wasted a buck. I wouldn’t necessarily buy perishables here but things like gift wrapping paper, balloons, and simple party favors for kids that will likely destroy on contact, it’s great to get it here.

This dollar store is good for cheap items like cell phone cases. The girl working was named Sonia and was NOT very friendly in fact she was very SHORT with me and was NOT very friendly. Here is a tip Sonia if your not a people person then retail is not for you. Look for another line of work

Good deals on just about everything. The cashiers are very helpful and point out stuff I can’t find. I usually just go there when I’m in the area. Especially good for getting stuff just before going to the movies!

If you want cheap gift bags this place is a winner. Other than that. it is frighteningly un organized and you can’t get to certain products because they are behind boxes of other goods.

Typical Dollar Tree. When you’re poor, it’s a great place to stretch your budget. It has most of the basics for a buck — personal care, household, office, auto, garden, holiday, toys, food. Don’t look too closely at the ingredient labels. Trans-fats and HFCS galore. No fresh or frozen food at this location. Parking is ample but the lot is a bit tight.

It is what it is… a $ 1 store, no frills. It is easy to park at and well organized. It was a great spot for white elephant gifts and gift wrap!

Yay! We have a Dollar Tree store in Capitola. I like going to the dollar store first before going to do my regular shopping. I like to buy napkins, sandwich bags, pre-cut aluminum paper and other items for the house. I get to save lots of money :) I go about once a month. Great store! I strongly recommend. Staff is friendly, good parking, I’ve been there a few times and it hasn’t been too busy.
