Delicious pizza, but the wait was decently long and they only had certain pizzas ready to order! Other than that, they have some of the best pizza! It’s definitely worth the wait! Every kind is delicious, especially The Big Sur!

The pizza here is always good. Try the Big Sur if you’re a garlic lover! I love the soda machine and that there are tv’s for when there’s a game on. Not the most convenient location, but it could be worse.

Awe I remember the good old days I went here in High School and my early college years! Now I am moved out toLong Beach I miss Pizza My Heart! Awesome Pizza they make I usually ordered the Hawaiian Canadian Bacon, Sausage, or their Chicken bacon Garlic white sauce flavored slices! Their Pizza was so delicious! which won best Pizza beating Italy in a Pizza contest:) They also have locations throughout the S.F. Bay Area Silicon Valley!

Yummy! Pizza My Heart is everything one could want in a local, walk in pizza establishment. I love pizza joints like this one that dish out big NY style pizza by the slice! And the toppings at Pizza My Heart do not disappoint either. The pepperoni are those little, thick ones that melt in your mouth. Wow, I’m getting hungry just writing this. The service is fast and friendly and I was impressed with the manager running this location! His minion of workers were on their A game! And lastly, I must touch on the ambiance. It’s surfer spectacular in this Capitola location as its right up the road from the always breaking beauty, Pleasure Point. The jams they were playing were rad, there’s surfing photos and boards plastered everywhere… all in all, Pizza My Heart in Capitola is perfection to me!

Best pizza around! I don’t know what else to day but reviews apparently have a certain length to be valuable. One thing I have noticed though, if something goes wrong they will not only apologize they’ll make you a VIP until they get you what you need.

We ate here Sunday night before a long five hour drive home after a day at the beach. Nine teenagers and four adults, all left happy and full. Chicken bacon pizza was fantastic; salads were fresh and full of goodies. T shirt deal can’t be beat. However, the STAFF is so friendly and helpful; they are the best asset this company has. Will definitely go back. I would have given five stars but the restrooms need a little TLC, but it was so busy, I’m sure they had a workout all day long. LOVED Pizza My Heart.

Sadly disappointed. I’ve eaten here a dozen times and almost every time I have an awful stomach ache within a few minutes. Their pizza is really rich and greasy. The staff is much nicer at this one than the other though. Sorry PMH

BRIAN the manager is AWESOME. My child’s day-​care went in for a special tour and pizza making event before the shop opened. The kids got a full tour of the facilities and even got to make their own individual pizza.
Brian was an incredible host and the kids had a blast. He was hilarious and had the kids laughing and enjoying themselves the entire time. The kids learned the A to Z’s of pizza making.
Brian is the epitome of a great host and very informative. BRAVO!
Give that man a raise!

I had a slice of «The Figgy Piggy» which has feta cheese, real bacon crumbles, figs and sage. It was amazing!!! This was the «Saturday night» special. Each day has its own special but you can still request another day’s special if you are willing to wait for them to make it. It was well worth the wait!

Never ate at any pizza my heart, so decided to try out. Not overwhelmed. We decided to get the slice of pre-​baked pizza each. They are huge-​like two slices huge however the thin crust was burnt and cracker like. The employee placed in Pizza oven to warm up but it was charred.
It is a very high volume place that it’s hard to catch their attention. Lots of young adults/​teenagers behind counter being loud spoken and irritatingly slamming pizza oven doors, which is understandable, but nonetheless Irritating on a Sunday late afternoon.
We just gave up, ate the taverage tasting oppings and walked out disappointed :(

I was raised in the pizza business. I don’t know if this makes me an expert, (because we all love pizza, right?), but I do know my way around a pie and I know what I like. I really appreciate it when I find good pizza! In my opinion, pizza should fold. This pizza does. The crust should taste good. I want to feel like someone experimented with dough recipes for years before opening their restaurant. This crust was bomb! Perfect flavor. Perfect consistency. The sauce was so good. Not sweet and flavorful. The toppings were of high quality, too. We ordered a large Classic with added pepperoni. The cheese was great tasting and the pepperoni! The pepperoni was something special. Very thick. The tomatoes were fresh, also. They made their ranch in house, and it was yummy. This is the best damn pizza I have had in a long time. Pizza princess stamp of approval!

I love Pizza My heart. Brandon, is a Cutie Patootie. Very Friendly, Care’s about The Customer and his Job! Salads are always good. Very Clean and nice place to get Lunch!

Someone snagged my slice while I was paying. So it was going to take 10 – 15 min for the next pizza. Staff was so great gave me a free small pizza that was the same type so I didn’t have to wait

You walk in and they have a few different types of pizza to choose from for slices. My daughter got a slice of cheese with the kids meal. The kids meal is a pretty good deal. They get a drink, a choice of a side such as carrots or olives, a little toy and fruit snack. I got a slice of pepperoni pizza because I love how the mini pepperonis crisp up. The pepperoni had a odd flavor, not like normal pepperoni, I didn’t think the pizza was all that special. Very thin crust, so if your watching your carbs, it’s a better solution for you versus other pizza places. my daughter liked her pizza.

Santa Cruz Vegan’s and environment lovers rejoice! Pizza my Heart on 41^st makes a cashew cream based vegan pizza option and it is amazing! I ordered 3 slices of it today with a group of friends for lunch, my non-​vegan friends who tried it also loved it and said they would order it as a preference over the normal pizza they make (which I remember was phenomenal from my days prior to giving-​a-​damn about animals being tortured and murdered for a temporary sensation on my taste buds).
They said if enough folks order it, they will add it as a permanent option on the menus of all the Pizza my Heart restaurants. Woot! This is such positive forward thinking for our planet!
Thank you again so much for a phenomenal vegan pizza option on your menu in an area which I know has tons of vegans craving a good pizza. Once the word gets out, you won’t be able to keep enough ingredients in stock to meet the demand for cruelty free pizza!

Pretty darn good pizza. So much cheese and grease, which is what I look for in a pizza because it’s pizza and it’s supposed to be that way! The people working there are also really friendly and helpful. I like that the dough is soft and kind of, well, doughy. But some people might not be into that. I had a slice of pepperoni which cost $ 4 and it was pretty big and really hit the spot on a late breezy summer night by the beach. Capitola has a lot of overpriced restaurants with sub-​par food but this is not one of them.

Great pizza, nice location in Capitola, CA. I grew up loving Pizza my Heart and miss the street-​side counter which was its origin. Now an established iconic pizza place here in Santa Cruz, the pizza still is crazy good and affordable. I am withholding my 5-​star rating however due to the chaotic and disorganized climate of the 41^st Avenue location. While I was standing in line for a very long time with only two people in front of me, I saw three female employees frantically doing all the work while the four or five male employees slacking-​off and basically were screwing off jaw-​jacking and doing nothing. Maybe they were strategically trying to slow the line to give the cooks a minute to keep up but it sure looked like a case of the women doing all the work and the lazy ass men just standing around bragging about online gaming, x-​box, taco bell, skateboarding, and sports while picking their noses, rubbing sweat off their heads with their forearms, and scratching their backsides; not cool. I sure hope the owner or regional manager reads these reviews as this location needs a real manager who is earning his pay and running an efficient and well oiled pizza shop; do some mystery shopping or actually visit the site yourself and take a look what is going on down here. The way it is now, customers are lined up out the door and many are walking away in frustration. Get a clue Pizza My Heart. Your pizza is good and maybe even best, but you are letting your employees (the male ones) ruin your once coveted top spot on the Santa Cruz Area pizza Elite List; fix it up, or stand by for a lower review next time!

Coming back from the beach late 8p? and they were still open. Ordered the large pizza with half chicken/​bacon/​ranch and other garlic/​pepperoni. Came out in less than $ 15. Fed about 4 people comfortably for $ 32. Everything tasted delicious
I especially enjoyed having all the different seasonings out for you to try: paprika, cumin, Mexican chile, etc. Definitely adds a different taste when you want to.
The restaurant was clean. Service was friendly and even brought the pizza to us. Had Peak Iced Tea, yum yum.

This pizza my heart hands down just, SUCKS.

I mean c’mon. it’s Santa Cruz. You’d expect at least decent service, but apparently not.
The pizza here too isn’t great at all, way soggy and greasier than usual (Pizza My Heart always has greasy pizza) but this is just overboard.
On top of all that… They’re never on top of having pizzas ready by the slice or anything like that.
You have to wait an additional 20mins before you can get the slice you want!
They should be more on top of it, when you a pizza low. GET ANOTHER IN THE OVEN.

The girl who rang us up and took our order was rude. It was crowded and when my wife asked (for a second time) «how long will that be?» the girl said «I told you 20 minutes or so.» In fact she had not told us anything; after asking about the wait the first time she asked someone else who was working the kitchen and we did not hear the answer.
We sat down to wait and realized the girl had double charged us for mushrooms. I had to wait in a long line again to get that corrected.
The pizza was actually really good but since that visit, a few months ago now, we have chosen to go to other pizza places.
