Zen Island

My family & I visited Capitola today for the first time and thought it was the cutest most charming town i’ve been to in a long time! Was looking for a birthday present for my mother in law and happened upon an amazing eclectic beach boutique called Destination Zen Island. It was filled with everything beautiful & beachy– coral bowls, beautiful abalone and seashell xmas trees –ornaments… Beautiful peach and sea blue accessories, candles vases, unique beautiful jewelry, and lots of beautiful mermaid statues, pewter boxes– Everything was extremely tasteful, interesting and reasonably priced! Great Great place to find gifts or shop for yourself! It was New years day & the place was packed with people shopping up a storm– only one young gal, who i think was named Amanda, was in there alone & handled everything professionally and remained cool and friendly!!- The stores ambiance and yummy smells from scented candles, soaps & lotions gave me the bug to redecorate my house in chic beach motif– ! thanks for a great shopping experience!
