I stopped in for lunch as I heard they had good specials. The pricing was average at 8 — 10 bucks a plate. However, it didn’t compare to other local Chinese restaurants as far as what is included for the price. It came with soup, an egg roll, and jasmine rice. No choice of fried rice. No salad, no wonton. The food itself was ok. Again, nothing really great, just average Chinese food. My general tso’s chicken tasted more like sweet and sour chicken. And unfortunately had 3 times veggies to chicken. The dipping sauce or the egg rolls however was excelent! The service definitely left something to be desired. I got a quick hello from behind the bar as he pointed to a table. He brought me water and asked what I wanted. I ordered my meal and was brought my soup. Then my food about 3 bites into my soup by a different person. I never had interaction with anyone again until I finished and they brought me the check. I had to get up and retrieve my own soy sauce. And my water cup is empty. I’ll give it another try at dinner time and maybe try the sushi bar, but I won’t return for lunch. K-gen just up the road in el jebel is a better option.

Best choice for Chinese food in Carbondale! The veggies are fresh and cooked just right, the sauce isn’t overpowering, and the portion sizes are great. Typically we order take out. Our go to includes Kung Pao(with tofu), spicy edamame, hot and sour soup, and spring rolls.

Great new spot in Carbondale! My husband and I went in for dinner last night and we were not disappointed! We were going in for some comforting Chinese food and that’s exactly what we got not to mention a delicious spicy tuna roll that filled our sushi cravings! The service was great the atmosphere was very nice and we look forward to supporting this business as it continues to grow in the valley.

Best Asian restaurant in the Roaring fork valley. Try the Peking duck. Excellent. I also recommend the sushi.

Not a bad spot. We come from Hawaii so authentic food is hard to top. I wish the didn’t use kikkoman soy sauce, blah! Aloha shoyu is so much better and less salty. It’s a Chinese spot that goes a little beyond Chinese food. Nice people and quick service.
