I like this spot a lot. I always get half a panini and a broccoli and cheddar soup which are so delicious. I love their broccoli cheddar soup because it’s not super salty just perfectly made. My only qualm about this place is that it’s always packed which goes to show how good the food is but not so great for my lunch time. Lol. I come here maybe 2 – 3 times a month for lunch when I have the extra time to spend on line.

This place is really good for lunch! Always clean, fast and the staff is very friendly. The pick 2 option is great whenever you cannot decide between two options. You get to pick both!

I’ve been there a couple of times, each time thinking that I’d get something better, but with no luck. The sandwiches are poorly made, lacking meat and cheese, but you’ll get plenty of lettuce and tomato, the cheap stuff of course. I find them to be way overpriced and overrated for what they offer. Will not bother going back. Would rather go to Bagel Boss up the road.

There are two things I really like at Panera — the napa almond chicken salad sandwich and the new england clam chowder. As another reviewer said, Panera’s are all pretty much the same. I would also agree that Panera is on the expensive side, but the food is decent. I also wish they had clam chowder on more days than just Friday.

I do occasionally enjoy Panera Bread. However, this location has to be the worst I’ve ever been to. I only went here because I was two doors down at Bob’s and I was hungry. First of all I don’t like really going to Panera because I feel like it’s extremely overpriced for their portions. I also feel like they are very slow and the long lines anywhere is overwhelming and annoying. This visit was on a Wednesday evening and I’m assuming because it’s close to the mall that it will always pretty much have a lengthy line. But considering all of that, they should either have more people working to accommodate their crowds. I ordered a youpick2 sandwich & soup. A pasta and cup of soup as well with a large iced green tea and spent $ 27. After waiting on line over 10 – 15 I left with my food in the bag. By the time I got home and opened the pasta it was about half full. Absolutely not worth $ 9. And the sodium between everything I ordered had to exceed a weeks worth of your daily intake. I mean just a ridiculous amount of salt! I just might have to stay away from Panera. It seems like the healthy option but I believe majority of their menu is laden with crap and overpriced. I would not be coming back at all.

I am rounding this up to 3 stars, because I really want to give it 2.5 but that’s not an option. My experience at the new Panera Bread in Glen Cove gave me hopes that all are created equal. Oh how wrong I was. I ordered the exact same Asian salad with chicken and the special turkey sandwich with apples etc, blah blah. This meal today was absolutely nothing like the meal I enjoyed in a Glen Cove. First off let’s talk salad. Were be the chicken and where be the salad? Barely any Asian dressing(I asked for more), the noodles were few and far between and the edamame were missing all together. This salad had a few slices of almonds and that was it. Now the turkey sandwich… mushy. The apple slaw stuff they put in the sandwich totally ruined the bread. This thing was so sticky wet that I deconstructed it and put all of the middle parts into my salad. Doing the remodel on my salad made eating it a bit more tolerable. Mango tea just like all the rest of their teas, weak. This visit I did score a free pastry, so I choose the chocolate chip cookie at the recommendation of Demari the cashier. He said he eats them all the time and they are delicious. Not real sure where Demari has set the bar on «good» cookies but this cookie was horrible. Maybe it was gluten free, lactose free and nut free, I don’t know but whoever made this needs to go back to cookie making school 101. I kept eating this stupid cookie thinking maybe it would get better, I know STUPID! What’s even more stupid is that people actually buy these things and like them. There was one positive thing this evening, the parents that do not pay attention to their annoying children were in the back of the restaurant. There’s a little rumble in the back so that you know they are there, but it’s not so much were you want tell the parents they must be so proud of their little darlings behavior. Too soon?

I love Panera especially their broccoli cheddar soup and asiago bread. I came here yesterday after an interview in the area. It tasted the same as the other Panera’s I’ve been to but their service definitely left some thing to be desired. The employees basically congregate in the corner and talk to each other and took awhile before they helped out the three of us that was standing in line. Then when they finally made their way back to the cash register, they acted as if it was a huge inconvenience that we were there to make them work. I did not appreciate that. Parking was super easy as they have a big parking lot which was a plus. I would come back for their food and not their service.

I know I know it’s Panera but c’mon now! Panera. Like I previously stated in my Hale & Hearty review. Hale & Hearty for sandwiches when not feeling the deli and Panera for soup! Also Panera has ah-mazing iced green tea! So my usual order is: Regular Iced Green Tea Bowl of Broccoli Cheese Soup I know it’s not healthy but sometimes it just hits the spot. Plus the rapid pick up is mighty convenient when a bunch of us get the hankering for Panera. Only thing that sucks is this parking lot can get a little dicey as Toys R Us, Vincent’s, Harmon and Panera are all in the shopping center.

Paying $ 10 for HALF a soup and HALF a salad(which when u get it to go they give u half the amount u get while u pay the same if u stay) They keep increasing prices and giving less food. Over panera

First, I don’t see what is so hard about maintaining a line to the cash registers. This seems to be a problem at many Paneras, and at this one especially. Second, don’t sell me food to stay if you don’t have a table for me.

Another chain day in Long Island. Remember when you’d go into a deli and get a coffee light and sweet? The deli guy would know what that meant. Now, its all fan-say roasted coffee, no more glass pots on warmers(Thank God) Have you ever had the soup here? Yuck. At any Panera, its a hit or miss. I do like their coffee and baked goods as well as their salads. I’ll stop in everyone once in a while at this location for a toasted bagel and coffee before heading out on the train. One summer, I had a lobster roll here for lunch. It sounds like it could be a bely bomb mess but it was actually pretty good! Panera bread, I like ya!

Very nice place well kept friendly staff always polite and courteous. Never had a problem with my food not once. Only issue is that during their peek business hours it’s sometimes hard to find a place to sit because the place is a bit quaint.

I love Panera Bread. I usually go to the one on Jericho Turnpike in Mineola, but sometimes when i’m around the mall I’ll come to this location. If you don’t have their rewards card, do you’re self a favor and get it… especially if you come here at least 5 times a month. The rewards are pretty good and the more you come the more rewards you get. Like a free drank, a dollar off soups or a Free 2 for 6 just to name a few. Whenever I’ve come here I usually get the soup. French onion soup. I love it! Their tea is really good too. The only thing i don’t really like so much about this location is the long line. It feels a bit cramp compared to the other location.

Came here on a mid Saturday morning intent on getting breakfast and also hoping to plug my computer in. I was told there were only two spots with outlets, one in the far rear where the outlet seemed about ten feet away from the table and another in a front booth by the corner. When I remarked that there was an older, heavyset man sleeping in that front booth, the cashier responded«oh he’s always there.» I asked«do you mean he’s always there sleeping?», she suddenly became silent and just looked away. My question is: why does the local management put up with this? There seems to be zero accountability here. Btw, the rear seating area was mostly occupied by women from the cleaning/kitchen staff sitting and eating, who were speaking very loudly(practically yelling) in Spanish to each other, oblivious to customers sitting by them. I promptly ordered a coffee(to go) and left in disgust. I don’t expect ambiance at a place like this, but are there any standards at this eatery at all? Will never come back to this particularly low class Panera Bread again!

Encountered rude customer service when attempting to order lunch from the«bakery» line. Well overpriced small pasta portions in oversized bowl.

Mmmm, I’m kind of biased towards any Panera just cause I’m a sucker for breads and soups… and soups in breads, heh. I’d give Panera 4 stars if it weren’t for their slightly exorbitant prices and stingy portion sizes. This location is pretty good as far as I can tell, but I’ve only been here once. Like most places in LI, as compared to places in Manhattan, this Panera seems to not get crowded as easily. Their breads are all quite fantastic. As far as their sandwiches go, I’d recommend the asiago steak or the bacon turkey bravo, though in general, I just gravitate towards soups and bread bowls. Creamy tomato, chicken noodle, garden veg, and broccoli cheddar are my go-to’s. Mmmm the brocco-cheddar! Just thinking about it makes me salivate. The only thing at Panera that I’ve gotten that I don’t like is their pesto pasta. The seasoning is spot on and it tastes like a bite of heaven, but after the third or fourth spoonful, you can literally feel your throat, stomach, arteries clogging up with oil. Not sure how they get the pasta that oily but it’s definitely not how I like my pesto. Food: 4⁄5 — those bread bowl soups! Just wish their prices weren’t so unfairly expensive for such tiny portions Service: 3⁄5 — decent as far as I could tell; no-nonsense, fairly fast Atmosphere: 3⁄5 — like any other Panera; clean, well-organized, homey Overall: 3⁄5 — good

Early morning for me today, and first thing on my mind was a soufflé from Panera! I got the sun-dried tomato & feta– never disappoints! My caramel latte w whip cream & caramel syrup on top, topped off my meal. Breakfast of champions! Great location, clean, friendly, and great bakery variety!

No! Please, don’t consider walking in; you may not make it out alive. If you’re a Panera love, turn around — this location may break your heart. If you’re a Panera skeptic, this location will confirm all of your thoughts and feelings towards the chain. I came here for a late(keyword: late) lunch, and this place was bananas! Crowded with customers to the point that even I was overwhelmed, and that takes a lot. The food was fine and dandy, but I couldn’t wrap my head around the insanity of the crowd here. There was nowhere to sit, and I wasn’t about to eat in my car and make a mess of myself. I don’t know. Uncomfortable was the only way I could describe my experience here, and I don’t know many people who want to feel that way during a simple lunch.

It’s always packed and theres always a line, it really doesn’t matter when you arrive. The food is the same as other paneras. I love the fresh breads but I think the meats have declined in quality over the years.

I haven’t been to panera in a while, they are pretty much all the same, for a quick bite and variety it’s ok. But keep in mind they are being boycotted by the carpenters union for hiring scabs to build new locations.
