Very good cheesesteak. Great toasted roll, quality meat, melted cheese. I’ll be back.

Had the stromboli and my colleague had a smaller pizza. WOW. Neither of us had been to Carlisle, both there for work. What a nice place to grab some food when you are out to just eat or take out. The gentleman that helped us was Italian and was VERY nice.

Extensive menu, friendly service, free wifi, diner décor. Had 3 meals there over a period of two weeks, nothing stood out as tasty or above average, but then again nothing was bad.

Super friendly service and the food was filling and pretty tasty. Slightly overpriced, but the friendliness and efficient service of the woman behind the counter more than made up for it.

I’m giving 5 stars to this Pizza Joint. I’ve tried A LOT of different small pizza shops around the area, and Alfredo’s stands out. Had a few subs here, very good. Alfredo special is a good choice, but the best is definitely the pizza. Eat some of this pizza and you’d rather spend your $ 10 here than any of the horrible chain Pizza Huts, Little Ceasers or Dominos. It is definitely worth a try if you are in the area.

Horrible rude staff and the food isn’t that great. Don’t waste your money on the salad they never give u dressing and they always forget something when you order it to go. I basically paid 10.00 for a pile of lettuce and was treated awful when I asked for my dressing. There’s 20 pizza places in Carlisle. I’d drive to shipp before ever going here again!

For those that have been around awhile we know that the original owners sold this and opened Marcellos and now Benny’s out in Boiling Springs. When they sold it, the new owners changed some of the things that we loved best about this pizzeria, namely the dough, the sauce and the tuna salad. Over time, they created their own versions in perhaps a transitional period, which aren’t bad, but different and not our favorite among the offerings. We still like this place and it’s convenient based on where we work and live, but it’s not the«original» Alfredos. That being said, the owners and staff are super nice. We have done some of their large family size dinners when feeling lazy and have enjoyed them — their chicken parmesan is good. I like their pizza that is reheated so it’s a little more crispy, so if we order a whole pie, I usually toast it up a bit. The mushrooms they use are my preferred type for pizza– I don’t like raw mushrooms on pizza– I know I know — but they usually put a healthy amount of any topping on. Their veggie pizza is actually my favorite in town. Coworkers order wraps alot and report that they are all very good. Restaurant is always clean, and they are quick over lunch.

Great pizzeria! My husband and I randomly found the place on road trip. We are from NYC, Italian, and pretty picky about our Italian food. I usually hold my breath when I’m so far out of the Metro area because you really doln’t know what you are going to get. The place is immaculate. We had the chicken parm dinner and an eggplant parm hero. Really, really, good and fresh. The eggplant was not over breaded and was not frozen, the chicken parm was made with fresh chicken, and the oil used to fry the food was very fresh with no bitter aftertaste that I detect often when the oil is too old. The owner was a sweetie pie, from Naples, not far from where my husband’s family is from. It was fun talking about how he ended up is Carlisle, PA. Definitely will go there again. The only reason I hesitated to give it 5 stars is that it’s really not what you would call fine dining, but 5 stars for a pizzeria/restaurant, if you know what I mean.

A TASTEOFPHILLYANDNYINCARLISLE! Frequent vistor to the the area who has searched all over the Cumberland Valley for some great pizza and I found it here at Alfredo’s. I think 2 brothers own it. One of them is a very friendly guy who knows his NY and Philly style pizza. The place is roomy, clean, friendly and the food is really good and the variety of menu items is large based on what I saw in nearby pizza/italian shops. The lasagna was like a South Philly grandmother’s — it was that good! This Philly burbs gal will be back whenever she’s in Carlisle.

Lonely and Sub-Par Like every town, Carlisle is awash with Pizza and Chinese joints, finding one, another, or both in every plaza. Today checked out Alfredo’s on the way home from work and found it lacking in anything decent. For dinner, I ordered a cheesesteak sub and a half-dozen buffalo wings. First warning came when the guy pulled a ready-made sub roll out of a bag. No pizza place worth their salt would use premade bread. The sub was a sub, bread sucked, steak was fresh, and at least the toppings were correct. The wings were small, soggy, and forgettable. Never going to spend money in here again.

I love this pizza — they’ve got great crust and wonderful specialty pizzas. The owner is also a really friendly guy. If he is in, ask him to make you his«wife» pizza — amazing!

This was one of my favorite lunch spots in Carlisle, it’s not far from down town and the food is good. They are a little on the pricy side as for pizza goes. It’s your typical pizzeria. The place isn’t really anything to write home about, but it’s dependable and reliable food. I still eat here one or two times a month, but tend to skip it due for a cheaper alterative.
