Leo’s Ice Cream

Not homemade. The ice cream here is made with pre-​made ice cream mix ordered from Galliker’s and JAS Wholesale.

Went to Leo’s ice cream on Tuesday, August 11^th and was immediately greeted by two teenage boys working behind the counter. I ordered the chocolate salt caramel and the coffee chip; both were very good, but I should have gotten a spoon and not a cone as it was a bit drippy, more of a muggy night. The reason for the three stars is because there was a teenage girl working there too. While we were in front of the counter peering at the ice cream in the cooler, she stepped in front of us to wipe the clear plastic divider/​window that protects the ice cream from the hovering masses. That’s fine, but do you really need to step in front of us while we’re waiting to make a purchase? Or if you must, at least say «excuse me.»

OMG, this place is soooo good. I’ve always had good service here and the ice-​cream is delicious. The prices are reasonable and the flavors are unique but not too weird. I hear cinnamon Oreo is amazing but I usually get coffee chocolate chip.

Unique Flavors and homemade quality make this an outstanding stop for Ice Cream. From Flavors like Peanut Butter Crunch, coconut, cherry Chocolate chip, and Peanut Butter and Jelly, Salt Carmel, s’mores, oatmeal raisin cookie just to name a few. you will definitely find something to satisfy everyone’s weird tastes

I come to carlisle once a year and this is the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life. Legit, homemade, perfect ice cream. I live in north jersey so I hold my ice cream to high standards. This is a must try ice cream place. Their hard ice cream is the best. Enjoy!

Love, love, love Leo’s ice cream! I highly recommend stopping here for a treat! Lots n lots of flavor choices as well as cone choices! They even have your favorite flavors in quarts to take home with you!

A lot of the novelty about Leo’s is that no matter what day you go in, you’ll find that there are a couple of unique flavors that are made there that you cannot really find anywhere else.
Definitely recommend this place to people who want something different besides the traditional Neopolitan flavors (vanilla, chocolate, strawberry). Instead, try flavors like salt caramel, chocolate chili pepper, cinnamon oreo, or (my ALL-​TIME favorite) cornbread. Ugh, can’t say enough about that cornbread ice cream. Unbelievable.
The problem that many people have (that I’ve noticed on their Facebook page) is that it’s hard to know what flavors Leo’s will have in stock, since he seems to pick flavors of the day on a whim. Maybe that’s what makes certain, «rarer» flavors more special. I have seen people wondering and wondering when the daily flavors are going to be posted online, but, to be fair, it’s difficult running a Facebook page when you’re busy running a business as well. Otherwise, the page is somewhat active, posting every week or two weeks.
When I’m in the mood, I go about 15 – 20 miles out of my way to get Leo’s so I can get a cone and bring a bunch of different flavored pints home to the fam. Love going here, will continue going here.
