Black Sage trail at Aviara

Interesting 1 mile trail. Unpaved, hilly, sandy and rocky. Steps in some areas. Free street parking on Ambrosia just off Poinsettia. There were several signs to beware of rattlesnakes, so stay on the trail. There are free dog poop bags and garbage cans by the entrances to the trail. The trail goes through an open space area in Aviara. At times, between homes. There are some nice views when you reach the top of the ridge. This is a good short walk for a good workout because you have to go uphill. I walked a loop by taking this trail starting at Ambrosia near Poinsettia, until it ended at Aviara by the 4 Seasons, then made a left on Aviara and then a left at Ambrosia, then back up the hill to my car. The total was 2.5 miles.
