We are so happy with the service that Bogdan’s pool and spa service has provided over the years. We tried doing our own chemicals after being disappointed with two pool service companies. We failed. Paul has been professional and reliable, he brings doggie treats for our dog and we simply enjoy our pool!

I used them for both my pool and hot tub when I lived in Carlsbad. I really liked this family-​run company — the service was always consistent, they came the same day each week, and kept meticulous records of their visits. Very organized!
They were referred to me when I was looking for a new servicer and I was super happy I switched — the water improved immensely. It was finally crystal clear like it should be! And Paul was super helpful, always happy to answer all of my questions.
I would definitely recommend!

I inherited Bogdan Pool & Spa Service when our pool guy decided to quit the business. It was the best thing to happen to our pool!
We don’t have a simple pool at all. There is a lot going on with the spa overflow, solar timing and low speed pump but the entire pool system has never seemed to work properly. Paul is our 3rd pool service professional in less than 2 years. They have all been frustrated and never were able to actually get the pool running the way it should. I expected Paul to react the same way but I was impressed to see his determination to fix our computer. He spent hours (I know because I was outside the whole time) calling precision solar, the motor manufacturer and multiple times the computer manufacturer. Finally, after 2 years our pool is working great! It is really a huge relief to have someone so reliable and determined!

Hi. They assumed my account when my much loved previous pool service moved on. They do what is usual and customary… anything more is $$.
To me it seemed like alot of extra algicide, phosphate treatments etc.
Maybe they were just that thorough… all I know is my bill went up by about 50% /​month. You should decide yourself. I have and have moved on…

I have relocated to the bay area, but when I lived in San Diego county, I was very pleased with Bogdan Pool & Spa Service. The work was professional, and I felt very comfortable in trusting them with my property when I was at work and out of town. I liked how my dogs were fed treats during our pool and spa servicing visits too! Quite nice and highly recommended!
