Dawn is super awesome!
I work in a field where my clients are often looking to move. Usually that is moving from the family home to assisted living or a nursing home of some sort. Moving is number 3 on life’s most stressful events list, right behind death and divorce. I am thankful for Dawn as she does a wonderful job easing the stress of the move.
Also, when you transition from one locale to another, one of the hardest things to decide is what to take with you! For this, Dawn has a process in place to help with this issue that is professional, repeatable, and successful. The divides the items into three categories — trash, charity, keepsakes. This is the easy part. The hard part is counseling the clients on what items go into what pile. Dawn is so calm and sweet, this process comes natural to her.
Finally, the layout of the sale is impressive. It’s kind of like a Where’s Waldo book. When you show up the day of, everything in the house has a sticker on it, and you are welcome to buy anything there. You can walk through the house three different times and find a new item with a sticker that you didn’t see before! It’s like treasure hunting, and everyone likes treasure hunting.
