Chef DK catered our wedding in July, and with the aid of Sean, his executive sous chef, did a fantastic job.
He is a straight shooter without much fluff to his game and is responsive to the same in return. Don’t be afraid to tell him what you want, and you’ll be happy with the result.
We gave him our wants and needs, gave him our budget, and he hit it out of the park. The hors d’oeurves were top notch, custom cocktails were a hit, and the proteins to our main course were perfect (he also has his own butcher shop — nice perk).
Sean and his team were also on point all night and made sure throughout that our desires were met. Excellent service.
Professional people all in all, and you can trust that you’re in good hands and get back to the party.

After interviewing and doing a tasting with several different caterers we decided to have Chef DK Cater our November Wedding and we are so glad we did. Him and his staff did an amazing job. Take my advice and ask to try his short ribs! My guests couldn’t stop talking about them. The staff was always professional and interacted with all of our guests fabulously. A few special shout outs to Sean and Iain… who did an amazing job at our event. Thank you for making everything so wonderful for our big night!

Chef Dave has the concession at the Moonlight Theater’s Artisan Café. The food was wonderful and we enjoyed it very much! Chef Dave also catered a company event for us. Food and service was SPOT ON! I would highly recommend DK Catering for your next party or event!

Dave’s team was professional, they interacted with our guests well, cleaned up after the event was over, and served great great food.
I tried their food at an event before ours and really enjoyed the offerings, Dave knew I was going to be at the event and that some of my guests would be too and so he varied the menu so there would be no duplication.

We used Chef DK for our wedding reception at the crossings in Carlsbad. We couldn’t be HAPPIER! Chef DK’s staff was professional, pleasant, and had great customer service. Our guest loved all the food and the presentation was beautiful. The processes before the wedding reception was easy and stress free. Mmmmmm! Melt in your mouth food that was a sense-​filled experience. I wanted to experience it again and again to savour the many layers of amazing flavors.
Dave and his staff are very professional and thorough from start to clean-​up.

Went to a reception at the New Village Arts Theatre and these guys catered the event. Great presentation, good sushi, cheeses, meats, and veggies. Very little food was left behind. if I lived in the Carlsbad area, I would use them.
