I have nothing but the most wonderful things to say about this store. My daughter is a plus-size girl, and it’s very difficult to find any cute or good quality maternity clothes that fit the larger size gal. Believe me when I say, we spent the entire day yesterday, shopping the different stores in the area with absolutely no success. Here we found many great items on sale, and many things that weren’t on sale, but seriously who cares… they fit my daughter beautifully. Loved that Jessica Simpson even has her own line of clothing here! We bought several items from her line. Connie, the manager, was nothing but helpful through the whole process. When we left there today, my daughter had a big smile on her face and was happy. Honestly, what more could a mother ask for!!!

Disappointed to find out AFTER my shopping visit that prices are not discounted! Not only are they not discounted as all outlet shops typically are, they didn’t even give me the promotions that are available online for the items I purchased. Will be returning some of my purchases. So disappointing.

I find that their website has more promotions than at the store. Could not find the dresses I saw on website at the store. All the good ones are pricey and not a lot on sale. Staffs are very helpful. If you purchased online they accept returns except for Pea in a Pod items.

Like the previous reviewer I was a bit worried about coming here but given the lack of local options(I’ve exhausted Target, Old Navy, and H&M) I went for it anyways. I was here about two weeks ago on a Monday, the perfect time for a quiet outlet mall. I was nervous to go in but took the plunge. They do have a fair amount of cute stuff(and certainly some not so cute stuff) but I agree — even for an outlet(a scam in itself) the prices were steep and on par with the regular merchandise you’ll find at their other stores(I even saw the same exact shirt at the same price I’d bought at BuyBuyBaby but with a $ 5 off coupon over there). Anyways, I’m not going to go into too much detail — I was really just here because it was time to buy some jeans/real pants and the other couple of stores sizes were too big. They do have a small(but lifesaving) collection of Petite sized jeans which fit perfectly — the regular sizes, even extra smalls are just too big on me. Even though I was probably here almost 2 hours and tried on 40% of the store — I only left with one pair of jeans(having already nabbed one pair at H&M but wanted to make sure nothing better was out there), one shirt, a cardigan(I know you’re not supposed to buy«maternity» cardigans because it’s kind of a scam but I’d been to umpteen stores and couldn’t find one I liked) and some tights. I was going to buy 2 pairs of jeans per the promotion but it turns out one was on sale the promo was invalid, which is fine because I wasn’t 100% convinced on the second pair. So then I ended up with 2 clearance items which meant I would get a 3rd for free — this is where I lost another 30 minutes or so — struggling to find that«free» item. I tried on at least 15 horrible fitting shirts! In the end the shirt I picked out was of course pricier than the other clearance items so I ended up paying for that and getting a pair of tights free and overpaying for the darn shirt. I was just so ready to be done and unable to try anything else on I couldn’t be bothered. The shirt is cute so I don’t regret it per se — but it was still overpriced, especially for«clearance.» This is the problem with maternity clothes I’ve come to realize — regular clothes just don’t cut it and they know you need to wear clothes so all these maternity stores know they’ve «got you» to an extent. Maybe that’s a rant for another day. I did go online and find some of the same«cut» of shirt on clearance for much better prices and placed an order a few days ago. I do agree with another reviewer, the few XS dresses I tried on were all way too big and way too hideous to even bother zipping or tying up all the way. *shudders* In any event, both the sales girl and the manager(who took over when the sales girl went on break) were very nice and accommodating — and I was happy that the sales girl told me how the sizing and stuff worked when I first walked in to help answer some questions that I wasn’t even sure I knew to ask. They didn’t have a huge selection of certain items and the store is pretty small and cramped — but it’s still worth stopping in here when you find yourself suddenly in need of actual maternity clothes.

I was a little skeptical with all the reviews but I was really glad I took the plunge and decided to give this place a try. I was greeted right away by the sales person as soon as I walked in. I was focused on one area of the store and the sales person gave me all the information I needed as a new mommy to be. There was a sale buy 3 get 1 free and I thought the prices were just as comparable as anywhere else and decided to take the sale up on its offer. I loved that the store gave me a new mommy to be gift and gift card credit to other stores and places to eat!

Store is ok. The sales girls I had was nice, but the selection was a little lacking. A bit over priced too. I tried on a couple skirts and tank tops I liked, but when I was in the dressing room I took a quick look on Amazon and found the same exact shirts and skirts for half the price plus $ 6 S/H. So I recommend going there to try on things then buy via amazon.

Ugh. This place is terrible. The service is AWFUL. I went in to buy bras– they had a good promotion going on for buy 3 get one free. So I had the girl working measure me and I tried a few on. While I was in the dressing room, and the store was VERY crowded, she came knocking on the door and yelling«Did the size XXX fit or the XXX???» Ugh, I don’t need everyone in here knowing how big my boobs are these days. Thanks. So, I tried on a few bras, and found one that fit. I bought three others in different colors, all the same size. So I get home, and the next day go to put on a new one, and it doesn’t ft. At all. It was much, much larger than all the others– clearly just a sizing thing, but annoying. So I go back to the store to return it, and the other women working ALL said«Oh yeah, that one runs really big, the girl working yesterday should have told you that!» So again, just annoying. I’m pretty sure they work on commission. SO, I gathered about 5 more bras to try on, and they didn’t fit. I told the girl working and she said«Oh no that the style of the bra.» Ok, I have been wearing a bra for 27 years. I am CONFIDENT that if you have room/gaps in the cups for 2 other breasts, ITDOESNTFIT. It’s too big. Again– I’m pretty sure they work on commission and will just tell you whatever to get something sold. So, I asked for a few more bras, and a different girl brought them into my dressing room. OMG. This woman REEKED. She had the WORST B.O. My whole dressing room stunk. Blah. Finally I find a bra that fits, and also a dress I really liked. They didn’t have my size, though. So the girl offered to order it from their warehouse. So I tell her I am looking for a medium, and after 20 minutes of «trying to order it from the warehouse,» she tells me I am out of luck– they don’t have any XXLs. I ASKEDFOR A MEDIUM!!! Seriously, this place is a trainwreck. The clothes are really cheap and over priced, and clearly the saleswomen are idiots and just want to make a sale.

Overpriced for most of the clothes offered. You can find things that are more unique than the typical gap, target, old navy but there’s nothing to write home about. I found it difficult to do business with as the promotions are very limited and the return policy is CUSTOMERUNFRIENDLY(must have receipt and return within 30 days or you are SOL!) The sales lady told me that there was nothing she could do– even though two of the items were current, regularly stocked items. If you sign up for their loyalty club, you get a coupon every couple weeks for 20% off purchases of $ 100 or more.(which is probably 1 – 2 items) Then you should unsubscribe so you don’t get a ton of junk mail forever!!!

I know there’s only so much demand for maternity stores, but God I wish there was more selection. Motherhood does a relatively good job of carrying a variety of maternity clothes that are generally more fashionable than muumuus, but they fall short of the limited alternatives in designing clothes that flatter the pregnant body. I’ve picked up one pair of jeans and two skirts that I like, but I’ve also tried on hundreds of Motherhood outfits that look cute on the rack but terrifying on. Last weekend I left the store emotionally destroyed because there wasn’t one pair of shorts in the entire store that didn’t give me mom-butt. And good luck finding any shirts or dresses in an XS. I consider myself a normal-weight, 5’6″ girl with a small chest(pre baby, at least!), and the size small dresses and shirts were just too big. It seems like a small SHOULD fit me, but it really didn’t. So if you’re on the small size, shop elsewhere. Where, elsewhere? Old Navy and Gap maternity! Both have a wide selection of cute options that make you look more pregnant, less fat, and are available in all sizes. Shop online and get free shipping on orders over $ 50. Sold.
