In December of last year(2015), I purchased my first pair of Gunnars. I went in to purchase a pair and they were there. I met a part owner/owner/representative(?) from Gunnar Optiks while at my optometrists office, Torrey Highlands Optometry. Him and his coworker were both very nice AND I LOVE the Gunnars. They let me try on their new line. It was fun to try them on, get their advice and have an expert opinion while there. I changed my mind on the pair I ended up purchasing because of both his advice on what was best suited for my needs as well as the opt. assistant’s advice on the pair that looked the best. Without them my vision would probably continue to decline with the harsh lighting from my computer. I just do not like to use my computer without them. They’re durable, comfortable and I think they’re cute! I wish I could remember the guy’s name from when I purchased them. I wanted to give him kudos, regardless, I am a happy customer. I was sad to see the poor experience these other people had with this company because I have experienced nothing but awesome. I hope that Gunnar Optiks steps it up on their customer conflict resolution so that these other folks can have as great of an experience as I did.

BUYERBEWARE when dealing with GUNNAR Optiks #gunnars. This company has the coolest eyewear for gamers and screen users(and they have an awesome name, too!!) Unfortunately, this is a great idea very poorly executed from the customer perspective. I ordered a pair of GUNNAR Optiks more than a month ago. Immediately after I received them I contacted them asking them for an exchange(did not wear the glasses at all). Since then, it has been a nightmare dealing with such unprofessional business. They constantly send emaiil saying that they will process the exchange but they never do.(I got emails from Customer Service, Adrian, Janethe, Mark, and a few others.) A few weeks ago I got fed up with this company and said that wanted a refund instead of an exchange and they replied that they will process my request immediately. As of today,(more than a month since I contacted them for the exchange and 1 month since they received the return), I have several email from this company promising to address my request, but I don’t have any product(it was promptly returned) and my credit card has not been credited either. In short, BUYERBEWARE, DEALWITHTHISCOMPANYATYOUROWNRISK, and assume sales are final when you buy from these guys. They are very unprofessional and have proven to have questionable ethics,… at best!

Nothing bad on the eyewear which are amazing but just disappointed on the way they handle price guarantees. Ordered a pair of glasses just a few days prior to them having a 30% off holiday sale. Price difference was very marginal but I figured since I ordered directly from them, they would honor the sale price and refund the difference back. NOPE. They would not honor the sale price so they would rather lose a customer which they have. I’ll know next time to buy it from a B&M store which is usually cheaper than the site.

Im a fan of Gunnar’s products. Very stylish modern. Im certain that when you have to claim warranty work you just mail in your items with a form. But I was driving south on the 5 and randomly stopped by to speak with customer service. They were very professional and took care of me right away. Fantastic customer care.
