Happened to pass by not realizing what kind of store this was and decided to check it out. Awesome! I could spend all day looking at everything here. Purchased a few items and will definitely come back. Owner is very nice and knowledgable and has no problem talking to you about any piece that your interested in. I would recommend this store to anyone interested in military antiques.

Carlsbad Village, especially around State Street is full of shops that peddle random knick-knacks and whatnot to tourists. Guy Stuff is NOT one of those shops. It’s more of a museum than anything, although just about everything is for sale. In this small store I’ve found everything from armor to taxidermy to ancient money to old documents, including a contract indicating the terms of some poor fellow’s indentured servitude. The owners and staff are friendly and knowledgeable guys. I appreciate their sense of ethics too: earlier this year they publicly stood up for our community and against our city’s «leaders» regarding an awful development referendum. That took cojones, which makes them not just guys, but men. So whether you’re visiting or live around here and want to hit up some of the local antique and consignment shops, I recommend starting with this one.

My husband and I love antique shops. We went looking for some in the area and came across Guy Stuff. Even myself who doesn’t care much for typical«guy stuff» loved this shop. Its very tiny but full of so many interesting things! I love looking at the swords, pelts, amour, model ships, old money, etc. They are quite the little shop! My husband bought a gun his first time in the store and he still loves it. Its a nice place to look around.

If you are looking for a unique historical or military item, this is the place to go. Small space filled with a number of small and large items. Great find for collectors and enthusiasts. Collectors items, including guns, knives, military paraphernalia, government and political documents and certificates. American and other countries, different eras, etc. you’ll find something for everyone here. Except kids, not a place to bring the little ones.

My husband could have hung out here all day. He was mesmerized by the military collectibles. Unfortunately, we were unable to purchase anything or he would have bought the whole store. A definite stop for anyone interested in antique weapons, armor, and military relics.
