Sara is an expert hair Stylist, and as you know this isn’t an easy find! She does an amazing job, great colorist! And I love my blow outs!!! Thanks Sara!

Sarah is amazing! I’ve never spent money in the salon in my life but now I can’t go back to doing it myself with store bought hair dye. I’m on my second set of extensions which I absolutely love and they last so long! And she does amazing at root touch ups. She’s very social and always gives you a warm welcome. I always say if I ever move out of state I’m flying here every 6 months for her to do my extensions. A++++

I’ve been going to Sara for my hair care for the past 8 years! I was one of her first clients and I’ve followed her wherever she goes. I used to live in Oceanside and now I’m residing in Coronado, and I still make the trip up to Carlsbad to see her to take care of my hair because she’s the only person I’ll let touch it! She’s great at what she does and definitely takes care of you (and your hair). Whenever I wanted a different shade for my highlights, I’m never disappointed with the results. I always come out of her chair feeling refreshed and pretty again. =) What’s also awesome about Sara is that during Breast Cancer Awareness month, she has pink hair extensions for your hair and proceeds go to the San Diego Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Worth the trip for me to always come and see her! If I ever move out of state, I’ll have to fly her over!

My girlfriend (Sarah O — she has a review above) has been going here for about 6 months. She loves Sara (Holmes) and her hair always looks great. I am more of a Hair Cuttery kind of guy usually, but my Sarah set up an appointment for me. Hair Cuttery and those places usually end up being about $ 25 after tip and I only spent a few bucks more with Sara. She did a great job and did exactly what I wanted. The shop is nice and nothing like the manic feel of a Supercuts or Hair Cuttery. It’s relaxed, everyone is nice, the room is private, you’re offered water/​tea/​coffee/​etc. I’ll definitely be going here from now on.

Still really happy! Just got some more color done (lightened up the top with black underneath). Going next week for featherlocks! Then probably another Brazilian Blowout in a couple of weeks. I should just start signing my paychecks over to Sara! lol! I’ve never had more fun experimenting with my hair!

From a guy’s perspective… this girl can cut hair! Let me just say that before seeing Sarah, I was one of the sheep that went to Supercuts (cringe!). I will NEVER go back. Sarah does such a good job, I always feel like a new person every time I leave. Her sense of style is great. You can simply tell her, «just make me look good,» and she will do just that.
She has her own private room in Kiki’s Hair Studio, so it feels really personal. It’s quite an experience too. I get offered a latte, or a glass of wine. There’s music playing. Plus she’s a great conversationalist, which is good for me because I am the relatively quiet type, but I just feel so comfortable in there, sometimes I talk up a storm. I never knew that getting a haircut can be so rewarding.
A+++ two thumbs up. Sara is highly recommended.

No one has made my hair look and feel as healthy & natural as Sara has, the color, cut and styling is superb! She takes the time to listen and analyze her client’s needs, exceeding all expectations. She is talented and an absolute joy to spend time with, this is important as extensions do take hours to apply. Sara is our family hair stylist, meaning that our entire family depends on her for all our hair care needs, she is truly amazing!

She’s incredible at what she does and is the only person I feel comfortable with saying «just do whatever you think looks good» and absolutely love it. I’m constantly complemented on the layers cut in my hair and the coloring she does! I’ve also never been the type to tolerate high maintenance hair. Sara knows exactly how I operate and knows what kind of cut and color I need! She’s an absolute doll to be around and super talented. Thanks Sara!
