JLN Carpet Cleaning San Diego

This guy is a joke. I honestly do not know how he even has a business license. In fact, i am not sure that he does.
I called this guy to come clean my couch. I scheduled the appointment and he came over. The guy seemed nice enough… at first.
Comes in, uses the bathroom (twice in 15 minutes) and then gets to work. SOAKING OUR COUCH WITH WATER. The guy was a joke. We went go see how the couch was coming along it was like we just walked in on our two year old doing something he wasnt supposed to. We could tell something was up.
Finally we stopped to take a look as he was about to start scotch guarding our couch (after about 30 minutes of cleaning). Half of the couch was soaking wet, the other half was completely dry. When questioning him he said he already did the whole couch… we felt it and had him feel it… «Why is this part dry and the rest wet?»
Him: «Oh that already dried… » US: «But you started on the side that is wet… how did the part you did first not dry before this part that you did last.» Him: «well maybe you are right… i am known to miss spots»
Us: «also, the back of the couch and in between the sections werent even cleaned.» Him «Yeah, i only clean the main parts of the couch.»
US: «Um… we are paying you to clean our whole couch…»
Him «Well OKAY IF IT WILL MAKE YOU HAPPY»
After he was finished he left our hose all the way down and out of our condo complex. When we asked him if he was going to roll it up he said «hang on, im busy posting ads for my company… ill do it in a minute» a minute later we heard him peel out of our complex and was gone.
After the couch dried there WERE STILL COMPLETELY UNCLEANED AREAS. It was like he just sprayed our couch with a hose and then left. When I called him to ask him what could be done he said «i can do anything for you.» But your ad says 100% satisfaction guarantee. «there is no guarantee,» he says. Then I want my money back… I paid you to clean my couch and it isnt clean… then he says… you are very annoying… go F*#^ yourself…“
I of course called him back but after being hung up on over and over I called the police and am ready to file a small claims case on the guy. If anyone uses him after reading these reviews you are asking for trouble.
He has several business names including: DOUGS CARPET CARE, JNL CARPET CLEANING, JUST LIKE NEW CARPET CLEANING, CLIFFS CARPET CARE, SPOTLESS CLEANING, CITY STEAM and other company names. keep an eye out for the name CLIFF. He has a 760 and 858 phone number to fool you. He changes his ads constantly to keep people fooled. Last four digits of the 760 number is 4275… the last four digits of his 858 number are 9044. Seriously LOOK OUT!

Do not use this company! I had Cliff over to clean my couch and he was in and out in no time. He said «it’s fast because of the psi of the truck mounted cleaning». When he said he was done, he left the area around the couch soaking wet from the hose. When I asked him if he was going to clean it up, it was like I was asking a huge favor. He went out to the truck then came back empty handed saying the hoses leaked on the towels. Really? Come on. We got the enzyme for the couch because we have a dog and was told it would work to keep the couch smelling good. When he left and the next day, the couch smelled worse than before and our carpet was soaked from where he cleaned the cushions. A few days later, my husband called to complain and set up an appt for 10 am that Monday to get it re cleaned. 10am came and went. I called the office and Cliff said that he told my husband he’d come between 12 and 1pm. (not true). It is now 1:50pm and no sign of Cliff. He hasn’t shown up nor called to say he’d be late. I am so disappointed. Never will I use this company. What a terrible way to run a business. A big scam!
