I can never say no to Rubios! This is has been my go-to location for lunch. The service here is excellent and the location is always kept clean. When is comes to lunch rush the girls here are always on the ball. They’re extremely friendly and accommodating to their guest. I use to work for Rubios a few years back and I had the opportunity to try everything on the menu lol! All their food is delicious. They have their taco Tuesday deal with the original beer-battered fish tacos are $ 1.50 and their 2 fish taco plate is half off as well! My bf loves taco Tuesdays so I visit Rubios pretty often. My ultimate favorite is the Gourmet tacos… yummm. Most flavorful tacos on this planet! As a former employee to now a customer I stay loyal to Rubio’s!

Great service by Yaneth everytime, she always has a smile and is always really nice. It feels great going to a place where they greet you by your name. I visit this Rubios at least once a week. Delicious food and great service.

Just a Rubios. The interior has the new design which is nice. I still can’t understand why the corporate offices insist on having this bus tub system where you’re supposed to drop your plate and utensils off. Very inconvenient. I can’t imagine the amount of silverware that goes into the trash because of it.
The food is inconsistent. One day the portions are the right size and the next day they are not. It has improved with the new management team but still needs work.
It’s Rubios and I’ll be back regardless if the place is clean and inconsistent. I like Rubios.

I was craving a bean and cheese burrito tonight. Since Rubios has no fried beans I decided to come here. It’s been a while. Well now I know why… I am woman who is satisfied by small snacks every few hours. I ate this burrito in literally 3 bites and am left wondering how it’s possible for any person to consider this tiny little burrito anything more than a bite size appetizer size. It was seriously ridiculous. There were hardly any ANY BEANS AT ALL. I should have taken a picture before I ate it but the eating part took so very little time I HARDLY HAD TIME. If I ever am craving a bean and cheese burrito again I will definitely ask to make sure there are enough beams in the burrito for an adult to feel partially full OR LIKELY BETTER — go somewhere else! That burrito I got today was ridiculously small… literally.

I love Rubio’s. They have been at this location for over 20 years for a reason – it tastes good. I usually get the fish taco and fish burrito. Both are fantastic. They have other tasty items on the menu but it seems like most locals stick to these two.
I recommend showing up on tuesdays because the fish tacos are only $ 1.50.

I am a fan of this location! I work across the street, and since I work early, I have an early lunch. Rubio’s opens at 10 am and works perfectly for me! I go to lunch at 10 am, as I am walking out of my office, I phone in an order, and by the time I get there, my food is ready to go. Also since it’s early, there’s never a wait! I only get 30 minutes so, if I feel like it I might eat there, but I usually take it to go.
My go to:
— the Original Shrimp Burrito
— churro
Love their salsa bar! I like the mild salsa and I add the cilantro onion mix to it. And burrito orders come with a small bag of chips! Great customer service at this location as well!

Went to this place for my lunch break and ordered a burrito and it took 18 MINUTES. I get that it was a lunch hour and it’s busy but there’s no reason it should take THAT long for ONE burrito. I was really annoyed because it took up my lunch break and I had to inhale it in 5 minutes and didn’t even get to finish it. I was clearly in sight of the employees and nobody even acknowledged or noticed how long I’ve been standing there and that I kept looking at the time to make sure I wouldn’t be late back to work. Pretty inconsiderate and I didn’t even get to enjoy my lunch or my break.

I would agree with the other recent reviews, this location is ALWAYS good, and not all Rubios are as consistent or high quality. I eat here about once a week, I meet my friend and her kids there most Fridays and somehow NEVER get tired of it. I rotate between the Ancho Citrus shrimp burrito and the California Chicken Bowl with salsa verde which are both delicious and so are the fish tacos. The customer service/employees at this location are always friendly and accommodating. I am a big fan of the salsa bar, and it is always clean and (with the exception of 1 time out of at least 40) well stocked and it’s always fresh. Whoever is managing this location is doing a great job!

I come to this Rubio’s often. I work close by. I have always had great customer service and good food. My order has never been messed up. And tonight I saw the manager give great customer service. A gentleman had been waiting for his order for awhile. And it was taking longer than he would have like. The manager noticed this and got the food out within the next couple minutes and gave the man a complete refund. Come here. Eat here. Enjoy!

Although Rubio’s is a chain, not all locations merit the same rating:
This Rubio’s is a cut above the rest. I’ve been ordering their shrimp tacos at different locations. This one came out just right. Plenty if fresh grilled shrimp, not floating in the white sauce.
Great attitude by the girls working the counter. Even though this one is tucked into a local mall — never filled to the brim with other customers. Lots of parking choices in their free lot.

I love Rubio’s and their nacho grande and fish taco especial!
I remember I was so happy when a nicer location (ie. not a movie theatre or a slightly run-down place a little out of my way) opened up closer to where I live. I went there very often before I moved. One of the best fast food places ever.

This is my go to Rubio’s near work. The staff is super friendly and are very accommodating even when it gets crazy busy. The salsa bar is always stocked so you never have to worry about that!
My favorite things to get here are the chicken taco plates and the burrito especial. You can switch out what you want as your sides for the plates so make sure you let them know if you don’t want those beans! (Not that there’s anything wrong with them, I just don’t like beans)
Parking can get a bit crazy but if you park in the lot closer to Luna grill you’ll avoid the mess that happens in front of Rubio’s.

Rubios is definitely a consistent place to grab a fresh bite. Their fish tacos are pretty good but this review is primarily around the facility in Bressi Ranch and their fantastic lobster burrito.
I really don’t eat at Rubios at all until the lobster burritos are in season. The Bressi Ranch location does a very good job at keeping their store clean, provide good customer service and making sure their food is served hot and fresh. This case was no different… Hot and fresh lobster burrito served to me with a smile!

Don’t usually review fast food places but this one is a great exception. Firstly, they have real plates and silverware. Love that. The service is good, like the other locations and the restaurant is clean with the same great menu as the others but this place is definitely nicer than even the San Marcos location. Even if we are going to a movie we would rather go to this location than the one at the theater.
The food itself is really good, fresh, flavorful and on the quick side so you aren’t waiting all day. Check it out.

We were greeted promptly by a few of the workers but the one who actually took my order, well… he wasn’t all that friendly. I wouldn’t say he was rude, but perhaps, not customer service oriented.
We ordered two kids meals (cheese quesadilla) and two grilled mahi mahi burritos.
The burritos were stuffed with everything– fish, rice, cabbage, and special dressing. I ate the first half with no problem but then had to pick through the second half. I was filling up quickly and eventually surrendered.
The location is clean and bright. The salsa bar was full and well kept.
If we’re in the area and craving Rubios, we’ll stop by again.

It’s Rubios! What else needs to be said? Not a huge variance from store to store, but this is one of the better ones. It does get pretty busy at lunch time, but they’re on top of their game so it’s always prompt and fresh. Super friendly staff with a long bank of cash registers so even when there’s a line backed up to the door, it goes really quickly.
Yes, it’s a chain, which is usually a deterrent for me… but their food is right up my alley and has been very consistently good. The prices have gone up a bit, but are still pretty reasonable (especially considering how many coupons they constantly send out).
My favorites are the cabo plate (that’s a shrimp burrito and an original fish taco — i order mine double beans no chips), and the salsa verde shrimp tacos… om nom nom I’m drooling just thinking about them!
Their «picante» salsa is excellent as well… nice and smokey savory and just the right amount of heat.

Fresh Tasty Quality Food
I can’t believe I haven’t written a review before– I’ve been coming here for the last 3 yrs since they opened. Service is always prompt and they have come a long way in the accuracy of the orders. (I usually order a side of rice instead of chips with my taco plates)
My favorites are the gourmet shrimp tacos (with bacon) and the mango habenero mahi mahi tacos. Each type of taco is very fresh and the sauces are unique. (not like so many other places where they just switch out the protein and everthing else is the same) I usually order a large side bowl of pinto beans and a bowl of rice to share. Surprisingly, the pinto beans are a great staple– very fresh, lots of flavor, and not greasy like other places.
Lunchtime can be busy, so expect to wait at least 10 minutes for your order. But it will be hot and fresh.
