I had the best haircut of my life from Helene. I was uncertain what I wanted and she said she knew what would go best with my face. It could not have turned out more perfect and now I don’t want to go to anyone else. Thanks for the great cut!!!

I had an absolutely great hair color and trim by Amanda. It’s the first time I’ve colored my hair to cover up the gray strands that were becoming more obvious. She suggested to keep my color, but warm up the tone a little bit. It looks perfect. She probably would have cut more, but she listened to my wishes to keep the length and gave me a trim, which I needed. I was worried that coloring would be bad for my hair, but it actually felt better after Amanda colored it than before. Very soft and shiny. I love it.

Lin is outstanding for Manicures and Pedicures. She does it all! I highly recommend her. She is a perfectionist with her service and always on time. She is very nice also.

Been to many high end stylists in LA, but no one does hair and color like Krystal! She is extremely talented at color, cuts and Brazilian blow outs and more! You won’t find a better stylist!

Krystal has been cutting and blow drying my hair for a few months and she always listens to exactly what I want. So many other stylists give you what they think you need. Krystal gives you her professional advise and works with your needs first. I am happy to have found her and I love my hair again. The blowout lasts for many days!

Big mistake in going to Helene Salon. Omg, the ladies on the front desk are extremely unprofessional and rude. They have no concept that the customer comes first, is usually right, or should be given the benefit of the doubt. Am completely disgusted with them. Definitely not worth ever going back to.

The WORST customer service experience I have ever had… seems the owner does not care for her customers, only for money… if you care to be treated well, and feel customer service means something, don’t even bother going here… Without getting into specifics, all I will say is Helene Salon is a TERRIBLE place to go… people are really, really rude here, and you get the impression they don’t care about whether their customers come back or not… why would any business not listen to a gripe that a customer may have? They need to shut down, period !!!

I walked in today and I was nervous and anxious and the lady at the counter made me feel at ease. They offered me something to drink right away and next thing I know I am sitting in the chair getting my hair colored. Amanda did a great job matching what color I had left in my hair. She did a super job blending it so I looked like I had been going to her all along. I already have gotten rave reviews from my family and friend. She cut and styled my hair in a fashion that even I can do. Not all complicated. Thanks Amanda, you will be seeing me for my next cut and color!!!

Friendly, professional staff. I can’t comment on how well they can do a long hair cut/​color but I am pleased with the haircutting experience. From what I can tell the hairdressers and beauticians seem to be happy and enjoying providing great service. For me it’s an electric shaver and shampoo!

I have been going to the same hairstylist for years and wanted a change. A friend recommended me to Helene herself and I’m so glad she did! She was very knowedlgeable, honest, friendly, and most importantly she understood what I was going after and made it happen! The results were better than I expected which is why I’m writing this review! Sometimes, change is good! Don’t be afraid to try a new hair stylist… There are so many talented professionals in this area and Helene is definitely top notch. I already scheduled my next appointment :-)

Went in for a facial and she was the best!!! I’ve been to over 20 facials in my life and this has been the best ever. She is in her mid 30’s and carefully evaluates your skin to see what you may need. I have fair skin and don’t have much acne, and she suggested a microdermabrasion. She took her time and asked if i was ok throughout the facial. Thank you, my face is glowing!

Kristie is a rock star esthetician. Yes she’s great with facials but IMHO, waxing is an art and this girl is one of the very few who know what they’re doing in that arena. I’ve had HORRIFIC experiences and she has earned my trust so that I am no longer afraid. If you’re like me and afraid of the pain… She’s your girl.

I’ve been bringing our family to Helene for over 10 years. Helene is very talented and a wonderful human being. My wife gets stopped on the street by total strangers and asked where she gets her hair done! I actually had to get a haircut when I was out of town about a year ago and soon realized that I can never stray from the greatness of The Amazing Helene again!

My review is strictly about Artie, the massage therapist who works in the back room. He is truly incredibly talented. I generally shy away from males, however he is amazing. He is professional and extremely knowledgeable about the body and really knows what you need even if you don’t tell him. I can’t explain how he does it, but he moves your limbs around and rotates you while massaging all the right areas. The only negative I could ever say is that when the salon is hopping busy, the noise can be distracting in the massage room. But otherwise, he is very reasonable given the area and he has a lot of experience at high end, exclusive resorts. He always plays soothing music and he will chat with you if you want, or be completely quiet if you opt to not talk. I average one massage a month and sometimes try new places, but keep going back to him. Seriously… give him a try — you won’t regret it.

Best salon ever!!! Helene is an artist with hair! She is so friendly and talented! My new favorite place.

This review is specifically about the masseuse Artie – he is AMAZING! My boyfriend had been raving about him to me for a long time as he has gotten massages from him in the past. I got the «body overhaul» massage, which really does work you over immensely but it still feels really good and relaxing at the same time. Afterwards my body felt so loose and relaxed, it was fantastic. I will definitely be going back, as will my boyfriend. Artie is so great we’re willing to drive all the way from Poway specifically for his massages!

Denessa is amazing! She does exactly what you want and is worth every penny!!! I will continue going to her from here on out.

Today I went for a facial. Sylvia is Hungarian (just like my facialist in LA) and she has an amazing touch. You feel nurtured and nourished, and I didn’t have an allergic reaction to her wonderful-​smelling creams.
After steaming my pores open, she massaged my face, deep cleansed it, and rubbed in those wonderful creams. She also waxed my eyebrows.
Sylvia is very experienced and has a delightful personality. She is full of information. It was a great experience and I will be back!

I got my hair cut by Tina, and she was great! she cut it exactly how I wanted it to look, it was the right price, and she did it in a very timely matter! I will definitely be coming back again when it’s time for a new cut.
