Taylor was an absolute delight! She was such a friendly face to see, very welcoming and expedient with our transaction. Drinks came up nice and quickly, with friendly service. I am, however, dropping one star because the shift supervisor was incredibly rude and came out no less than 4 times to openly scold Taylor on not completing another task while she was performing our rather quick transaction, which not only made her look rather poorly in form, but also made uncomfortable our interaction and caused my girlfriend and me to feel unimportant and like our patronage didn’t matter. The store was quite empty, with no apparent impending rush, so there was no need to be brash and rude, ESPECIALLY in front of customers. I will return to this Starbucks, if only because of Taylor’s great impression, but if I encounter such an interaction as with said supervisor, my money can be spent at one of the MANY Other locations. Keep doing what you do, Taylor!

I’m staying at the nearby Omni Resorts and Spa and have walked to this Starbucks the past three days for my morning beverage. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere relaxing, and there is plenty of seating both inside and out.

Ok, I’m the Starbucks queen. Shush! I know what your thinking! But serious… this Starbucks is just ok. The drinks are just that… ok. I have never seen more than two people (one taking orders and the other making drinks). I went in this morning and ordered my drink, and there were 4 people waiting for drinks in front of me. As I was waiting I looked at the line to order and it was almost out the door. Apparently the man right behind me (thank goodness he was behind me and not in front) couldn’t make up his mind on what he wanted to order. I put my timer on my iPhone on and listen people it took him 8 minutes 36 seconds to order. That’s right 8 minutes and 36 seconds. That means the line didn’t move and all those people had to wait for one person to decide on what they wanted. I got my drink about 1 minute before the man finally made up his mind. I just stayed behind to see how long it would take as people in the line were making loud comments.

What I love about this Starbucks is the people who work there. They’re always warm and friendly and since I’m a regular they know my drink. This Starbucks also has a great outdoor seating area.

Great Starbucks, located amongst a very crowded shopping center right next to Broken Yolk in La Costa. This place is always pretty crowded, but the service is always great and the product is always fantastic. This is a definite 4 star location because the outdoor seating is plentiful and the ambiance is wonderful. I would definitely recommend coming in, grabbing a latte and sitting outside to enjoy… Only downside is that parking can be a pain in the butt, especially on weekday mornings…

I guess this store has been recently renovated, looks nice! The line is set up differently now which makes more sense than before!
The parking lot honestly sucks, and on a busy work week morning, I bet this place is hell. I don’t recommend coming if you’re in a rush– casually coming in for a coffee on the weekend is the way to go.

I’ve been to this location a few times now when visiting friends. First thing that struck me is that there is lots of seating, with couches, tables and places to hang. That makes for a good studying starbucks! The service here was polite, fast and made my drink well. Lots of parking in the lot as well!

This one is okay… The inside is narrow and often you get bunched up near the pick up and at the register. They are always friendly in here and it seems clean. I’ve never used their bathroom, so indoor know how they rate in that category… As you know bathroom cleanliness is very important to me. They seem to get the drinks right most of the time– however this last visit they were out of spoons… Not ideal.

This Starbucks is in the prime location of gorgeous Carlsbad. They are always bustling at all times of being open and handle swarms of coffee addicts swimmingly.
I am one of the select few in the world who does not drink coffee or tea. I always get the chocolate, vanilla or strawberry frapps. I got my drink in less then a minute despite the crowd.
The service was on spot and super genuine. I can’t stand when someone helping me seems like they have a gun to their head to be somewhat decent. They have that perfect inbetween of not caring and being extremely fake.
The restroom was as clean as my own at home. I wasn’t skeeved out as I generally get when using public restrooms.
One of the nicer SBux I’ve been to.

This location is never crazy busy but when things start to pick up employees tend to panic. Parking is right next to Broken Yolk so some mornings you are fighting for a space. Outside seating is nice but often over ran with obnoxious kids

This is a small but quick Starbucks. This Starbucks doesn’t offer a ton of seating but it is cozy. I have always had great service, quick service and all smiles. They haven’t run out of anything while I was there either. There isn’t much to say about Starbucks unless they mess something up. I did see a review about the promo codes and I almost had a similar experience. The barista did warn me that some the promo codes lately haven’t been coming through their system correctly but mine ended up working fine. I did almost deduct a star but chose not to– the smell outside is awful! I didn’t take the star because I can’t blame Starbuck’s because it is the places around it that are causing this terrible smell. There is a bagel place on one side and Broken Yolk on the other side causing this sour garbage smell. You really can’t sit outside with that smell.

This location tends to get really really busy at around the 7:30−9am hours. Just be sure to plan your time accordingly because this line can get out the door sometimes.
The staff here in nice. I’m not sure if it’s just this location or others, but the past two days I’ve come in and ordered just a regular Iced Coffee and I was on high alert ALL DAY. Just be careful of the caffeine intake all you Unilocalers!
Their pastry that I enjoy most here is their blueberry oat bar. Their bagels are nice and delicious and their butter is a weird thick creamy salty sensation that coats your tongue and thoart… ENJOY!

They say not to bite the hand that feeds you… But I say don’t bite the hand that makes your morning java… So I’m not going to complain too much. As for the customer service, I haven’t experienced the poor service a lot of these reviewers seem to have experienced — in fact, the baristas here are always nothing but nice to me (tip to fellow Unilocalers from a former barista — don’t be an asshole). There will always be a long line in the morning — such is life at Starbucks. I think the only problem I have at this location is when I ask for extra stirred — they never do it! But generally they get my drink right with a good attitude, so I’ll continue stopping in before heading to work.

Great outdoor section, small indoor seating area, friendly cheerful staff and still the best brewed coffee. A nice array of people watching on your down time & some old-​timer characters lounging daily that make me laugh. Its possible the next generation Versace concept clothing line just must be signed here. Business of all sorts is happening here. Yet you have all the La Costa Country Club coming in and Yoga peeps on a reg, so its dif a wide mix.

After being coffee free for months, I decided to splurge on a drink I hadn’t had in a very long time.
I was treated to a Skinny Peppermint Mocha (tall, no whip, extra hot). From my research, it was about 100 cals, which was perfect.
The flavor was good and I enjoyed my drink. I just hope I don’t relapse back into my coffee habit because the drink was so delish!
There is indoor and outdoor seating. Other eateries are shared within this complex. Sits next to Broken Yolk Café. We opted to sit in the cushy sitting area, which is a perfect place to sit when the sun is setting over the ocean.

As a responsible Unilocaler, I feel it is incumbent upon me to give credit where credit is due. The last couple of times I’ve been in this Starbucks I’ve experienced a notable improvement in the ordering process. I no longer have to repeat my order. Thank goodness! Oh, and just as important, I haven’t burned myself since, either. Things are looking up!
