One of the barista wasn’t nice and police. I asked them for a few more bumps of sugar syrup in my drink. Instead she asked what type of syrup i want with attitude. I stare at her for a second to make sure my hearing is okay. I really want to ask her«do i look like i work there to know what kind?!» But instead i cut the drama and asked her politely that i just want my drink sweeter. Then she once again asked me to remove the lid. Again, i did and left. I have been a loyal customer of Starbucks since 2012, and this is the first time i got treated with this kind of attitude. I should’ve avoid this place since i saw 3 stars. Lesson learned.

I liked this Starbucks because there was plenty of parking in the front and the people were friendly. This is your typical Starbucks so I really don’t have anything special to say. The bathroom was very clean and the store itself had a good café ambiance. I think many Starbucks nowadays are small and don’t have that many seats so don’t expect to find a table if you’re coming during peak hours!

I don’t understand why there are so many bad reviews. I come here all the time. They always get my drinks right and they’re always friendly here. Only issue I could possibly see is it’s always packed during the morning hours and it’s like a 6 car parking lot.

I like this Starbucks but it only earned three stars from me simply based on the size of the establishment. It’s a typical starbucks… friendly employees, decent food, etc… and yes, those famous snowman cookies make everyone happy. The location is tiny… maybe 10 seats inside. There’s slightly more seating outside but you’re sitting on Carlsbad Blvd… so, good luck having a quiet cup of coffee while listening to cars racing past you! I’ll be back. However, I’ll get my order to go, walk down to the beach and enjoy it there.

Love Starbucks. But this one is small! hot! small ! The store is in need of renovation. Old style chair/tables. I gave 2 stars because corporate might see that they need to spend the money on a facelift. RAD Customer service! Perfect Drink As Always! Staff was nice. Bathrooms were clean.

Employees are rude & they often get the drinks wrong. They really don’t care. I am a long time Starbucks customer all over San Diego & Orange County. I am near this one often, but rarely stop. Every time I do, like today, I’m sorry that I did.

I stopped by here for some coffee while I was en route to SD. I had just gotten through the gridlock on the 5 South, and was in dire need of it. I found parking with easy on their lot, and walked right in. There was quite a line, but the staff kept the line moving fast. They were very friendly as well. I ordered my drink, and had it in hand in less than 2 minutes. This place is pretty efficient, and it is kept clean. Everyone around was enjoying the sunny day, and some people were studying as well. It was a great place to stop after dealing with traffic. The coffee carried me through the rest of the way to SD.

They are nice, they are quick. This is my go-to spot for my early morning caffeine run! I have not had an issue with my drink being wrong here! Thank you!!! :)

You’ve been to one Starbucks, you’ve been to them all — but I say, no way! Sbux in the Village is truly the friendliest one ever. Yes, this location gets busy – it’s right in the center of the Village after all – but the staff seriously makes the trip here worth it. I get my coffee or tea daily so I definitely notice when a certain location has an upbeat and nice group behind the bar. Even when the line’s out the door, staff is able to move through everyone’s order relatively quickly. They have a pretty big team working at one time so I think that helps with rush hour. I rarely sit down or do work in a Starbucks… but when I do, I come to this location. Carlsbad Village gets an entertaining little mashup of tourists & beach-goers, so people-watching here is good. There’s about five tables inside & some good little spots outside too — it gets busy, but usually there’s at least one spot open at any time.

Wait time was average. Took quite a bit of time just to get an unsweetened iced coffee. Sold out of cold brew. Am a local and would not recommend. Staff wasn’t anything special. Power to the local coffee grinds around here, will be going there next time!

Coffee is coffee but people come to Starbucks for the customer service. Not the case when I come to this one, well not all the time mostly just when a woman names Jackie is working, everytime I have come to the counter and Jackie is working she gives me the most rude attitude. She makes me feel like a neusance whenever I ask for anything extra. I’m pretty sure one of the first classes you take at Starbucks is on customer service, how to smile and act like you like your job and like making my coffee. Jackie put a smile on your face girl, the world isn’t that bad of a place to be.

Service was fast, the location is certainly central enough. It’s right on the main drag in Carlsbad, just a two block walk from the beach. The one downside: for as busy of a place as this is, for it to have a single bathroom serving both genders is something of a shortcoming.

HIGHLIGHTS: drink was good My frapuccino was good; granted it was a Caramel Ribbon Crunch so it is meant to be sweet, but mine had a TON of caramel at the bottom. I wanted to hate it but it was so good. The location is needed for tourists, but I didn’t care for it. I wanted to get a quick late afternoon drink before an appointment, and it took a while to get into the parking lot and then to find a space. I lucked out and found a spot in front of the shop, but that area is kind of tight and hard to get in/out of. The interior of the Starbucks is really small — I’d hate to see what it looks like on a busy morning. There isn’t much room for seating inside, and there are a couple of tables outside. I only gave this a 2-star grading because of its size and how terribly located it is.

Busy beach location! Expect to wait on hot days. The partners here now are very kind and knowledgeable. Kim has been here for 9 years! You have to love her. Best customer service! My drink was great and I can lounge about outside!

Most Starbucks seem to be consistent and serve the perfect iced mocha. This is a popular area of Carlsbad so be patient when looking for parking.

Great location, seems that everyone in the area thinks so, it was packed on a weekday morning! Lines still moved fast, easy parking out front and indoor as well as outdoor seating which is always nice this close to the beach. My java chip frappé tasted great and was a nice way to start off the day at the beach in Carlsbad!

Yeah yeah, Starbucks is everywhere, one of the biggest coffee shop chains. But, I love stopping by here to pick up a Cinnamon Swirl Coffee Cake, it is to die for! Love the little crumbles on top, makes me want to chow down on half a dozen of them. I would probably get a bad stomach ache if I did so, but it would be worth it. If you are looking for a cold and icy drink to have on the warmer fall days, get a blended Strawberry and Lemonade ‘smoothie’. Get the smallest size though, otherwise you are bound to receive a brain freeze.

I may be the rare one to leave a good review for this location, but I think they’ve always done a great job. I work down the street and come in a lot. Yes, customers are grouchy, to whoever wrote that– they are probably bummed and mouthy because it’s a small store and everyone has shoved in because it’s one of the most popular Starbucks in Carlsbad(blaming them is unfair and doesn’t reflect on SB). A lot of tourists come in and people trying to get their coffee for work so this is probably why it has bad reviews. I’ve never had a bad experience from any of the employees that work in the morning or afternoon. It gets very busy in the morning just to let you know… The drinks are the same to me– you will get a drink made the same way just like any other location. My food has never been cold, and the one rare occasion they were so busy they forgot my bagel, I received a free drink coupon. This has happened at other locations too. Not a big deal! Parking does suck because the lot is small… I still will come back and I suggest others locals and out of towners to also! It’s in great walking distance of many stores and the beach!
