Under Armour

The people who work here are the opposite of friendly. Like I asked one of the guys for help.
He looked at me like, «what do you see my muscles? I can bench press 300 lbs. Do you think I have time to answer your girly man question?»
Ok so I forget about it and bring my stuff to the cashier for the same question.
She looked at me like, «hey I’m the waaay tooo busy cashier to answer questions. You should have asked Roid Boy that question before you got here.»
Despite being treated like a gym loser, their deals are pretty good, its a nice big store, and I like their rewards program.
But corporate needs to work on their employee morale, demeanor, and service attitude.

UA is one of my favorite brands. So when I saw the new store at the Carlsbad Premium Outlets, I was pretty excited.
This store is large. I think there’s a good selection of clothing for both men and women here. There’s also a small section of apparel for the kids. I even found a section of shoes towards the back of the store.
Although there’s a nice selection of clothing and accessories here, I didn’t think the sales were all that great. We also couldn’t find any help when we needed it. We seemed to spend a lot of time wandering around the store.
My husband and I bought a few shirts from here and were on our way. I think this store is a great addition to this outlet mall, and I look forward to coming back when there’s a really good sale here!

Under Armour is one of my favorite brands for athletic wear. I am not a runner and I’m not crazy about sweat-​wicking products so I can’t say anything about the stuff that they’re known for. What I can tell is that many of their jackets and hoodies are very well-​made compared to other brands like Nike and Adidas. Some products, however, already show signs of pilling even at the store! You can tell there’s a drastic difference of quality just going from rack to rack.
There are some decent discounts in the store. When I went around Christmas time, there was the buy 1 get another 50% off for bags and 40% off for selected hooded jackets. The VIP coupon book might have discounts but only for a certain time period. UA is not a regular on it yet.
The staff were mostly friendly but they didn’t seem to be knowledgeable of the promotions much. Also one of the staff ran into my dressing room after my answer when he knocked. Wth?!
I’m a fan of the products and am very glad they have a store here but not a fan of the staff…

Amazing deals here!!! 40−50% off but they didn’t have my size in the pants I wanted. But for half off I got my second choice pants. 3 for $ 30 boxers too! They’re normally $ 22. Perfect stocking stuffer. I was even tempted to get more long sleeves bc the price was so good even though I don’t need any. Store was pretty neat & organized. Great place to find gifts for the athletes in your life.
Workers weren’t very helpful for me but they seemed to be very helpful for other customers. Including standing in my way conversating so I had to awkwardly grab the gear I was looking for.
I love under amour! And this outlet seems like a good place I can always go when I need something.

Bottom Line: A welcomed addition anchoring the north end of the Carlsbad Premium Outlets.
I was excited to see that Under Armor has moved into Carlsbad. Despite living in Maryland where UA logos are always in your face I’m not necessarily a huge fan of the brand but I am glad that tired and dated Bellefleur is gone and that Under Armor is increasing its presence in SoCal.
The new UA outlet is huge, clean and well organized with casual apparel for women, men and children. Twenty-​five perfect of the staff are super helpful here and 75% are in la la land but that seems to be on par with the rest of the retail industry. The prices here seemed ok. I didn’t see any bargains but I was ok with paying what I did to get a nice gift for someone.
For those who aren’t familiar with the Under Armor brand but are in to athletics, I recommend checking the store out.

Great Deals! Look at their golf clothing specials. Their prices are pretty good!
Not cheap, but better than retail!

Not only is this place completely new its one of the few Under Armour stores in SoCal.
It is huge with a pretty good selection of clothing, shoes, and accessories for men, women, and children for being an outlet. Every week they have all kinds of new sales and discounts, so it makes most purchases cheaper than online. They also offer a 10% military discount!
Staff members are friendly and knowledgeable, able to help you recommend a good alternative if by any chance something you want is not available. Fitting rooms are spacious and well decorated.
I’ve been here a couple of times and always leave with new gear. Only cons to this place might be that its still so new that most people don’t know its there! But I can’t think of anything else that makes this store anything but 5 stars.
