Perfect Place for a family — Great atmosphere, great food and a very good value… Menu had a lot to offer… I wish this type of restaurant was in my home town…

Mmmm is all I can say, I came here tonight celebrating fathers day with my dad and step mom, my dad enjoyed his flounder franchise, it was not on the menu but they were very accommodating and it special for him, my mom loved the N.E. clam chowder, and a thumbs up for the teriyaki salmon, the mozz sticks were ok, the sauce… was eh. But the topper for me was the lobster mac and cheese, the high point of the night, worth every penny and worth every bite„ the service we got tonight was great. Gabriella was our server and I hope she is next time as well, she did amazingly well, tonight made father’s day rememberable thanks to biggies

I’d say all around this place has really great food! We ordered the fried shrimp, side salad, the corn crab chowder, the garlic mozzarella steak sandwich, tuna tacos and the buffalo wings. The Crab Corn CHOWDER was PHENOMENAL!!! The absolute best that I have ever had and every time I go back there, I’m definitely going to order that again! The garlic mozzarella steak sandwich is also a gigantic winner, in fact, all of their steak sandwiches that we have had there are really delicious, along with the waffle fries! So, the little bit of bad news that I would like to share is that they gave me marinara sauce instead of cocktail sauce for the fried shrimp, and that was slightly disappointing, as this was a ‘to go’ order and I couldn’t ask for something different after I had opened up all of my food containers to find that mistake at home. The tuna tacos are delicious, but very basic & simple — the tuna was perfectly rare, but could be seasoned a bit more and I would add some pico de gallo or salsa fresca to that taco to really make it flavorful — the tiny drizzle of wasabi mayo didn’t really turn it into anything that spectacular. And the buffalo wings were breaded, which I really don’t like, and I don’t know if I had a choice in the matter on that, but if you don’t like breaded wings, I wouldn’t order those. But, all in all, a great restaurant all around!

Very nice staff food was very good not to pricey Definitely come back we had the spinach dip was delicious then we worked our way to fried calamari very good freshly made no oily taste. Dinner was the rigatoni with sausage in a pink sauce, out of this world. Cup of coffee and I was out the door with a full stomach and a smile even had leftovers, I do look forward to returning.

The food, the beer selections(and happy hour), the service, really no complains. This is a good choice to enjoy among the local options, even for just a burger though they feature their seafood.

This is a pretty good restaurant on a noisy stretch of Rt 17. I had calamari and linguine with white calm sauce. My wife had artichoke spinach dip? Everything was good. I like the presence of real calms in the linguine. The calamari is crisp and hot. They honor a Unilocal discount on it with check in. They have a good beer list from which I partook. Prices are reasonable and service pretty good. My only complaint, the music in the bar is too loud ! Who needs or even wants that.

Like be the martinis here, the clam pizza is good here also. Good ambience for a bar and decent prices. Make sure you get the clam pizza best thing on the menu.

Nothing here was outstanding but the food overall was good. Ahi tuna tacos were good. Who doesn’t love waffle fries? Calamari with hot peppers were tasty. Can’t go wrong with East Coast oysters. Clams oreganata were good. I Didn’t have a bad experience. My cousin said his ribs were good. They have a decent beer menu. Maybe next time i’ll come i’ll get the clams cooked in like 5 diff ways. Southern deep fried? Okay. Why not They have a lot of specials during the week

Went there on Sunday with a friend. We were told there was a twenty minute wait so we went to the bar. The bar tender Justin pulls a great pint of Guinness, which is very hard to get outside an Irish bar. We got seated in the dinning room and our server Marina was brilliant. We went with her suggestions which to begin with which were beautiful, we had oysters and shrimp covered in coconut. I got the ribs for the main course, the meat fell off the bone and they were cooked to perfection. I will definitely be coming back here again for the food and espically the service

This is a great local spot for lunch or dinner. I’ve only had good experiences here. My favorites are the wings, oysters, and the seafood fiesta pasta. They also have a decent beer selection. The parking lot can get tight during peak times but you can find parking in the surrounding streets.

The first time I went to Biggie’s was for my sister’s last night in the United States before heading to Europe for graduate school. She had requested a good place for dinner and I selected Biggie’s for it’s collection of clams, oysters, shrimp, calamari, and such. Well, that night I ended up getting ribs aka not seafood. BESTDECISIONEVER. Biggie’s ribs and waffle fries are on the short list of potential last meals on earth for me, especially if I could add a few of their appetizer offerings onto that meal. For starters, we really like their fried calamari(the garlic mayo that it comes with is CRACK), fried clams, steamers, fresh oysters, and seafood salad. Their fried calamari is one of my favorites in the state — always crispy and fresh and that GARLICMAYO ooooohhhh my. For mains, I seriously order the ribs pretty much every time but when I’m feeling something different I like the po’ boy which they will do half with shrimp and half with clams. We have always been pleased with their sandwich offerings. The pastas, while certainly good, aren’t the best thing on the menu in my opinion. We have actually never had dessert here so I can’t comment on that. Service is usually prompt, attentive, and friendly. They are always accommodating of my annoying requests such as extra garlic mayo(yes, I’m obsessed). If it’s a weekend there is usually a wait but it usually goes quickly.

Biggies is a casual restaurant with more of a bar environment. Drink specials are good during happy hour, which is why we came here. The food left a lot to be desired. The pizza was on a dry tortilla that was grilled, not made with dough. Not what you would expect. The Buffalo chicken sliders were really 2 bites each and the chicken seemed old and cold. I wasn’t even sure what I was eating so I had to look at the chicken a few times. The Thai chili calamari was very good and 50% off with a Unilocal check in. The margaritas weren’t very good at all. Waste of $ 5. Service was great at first but then she got too many tables so it was hard to flag her down the few times we needed something. She was nice, just too busy to manage all the tables at once. I might consider coming back, but only if I want the calamari and a beer. Too many other places have great food, drink specials, and more attentive service. It was worth a try!

I have been putting off writing this review for quite some time now just because of how upsetting the service was the night I came to eat here with friends. We walked into what seemed like a slow night for Biggie’s and were given the choice of bar seating or in the main restaurant, we opted to sit in the bar. Once we walked in there were a few other people sitting at near by tables, we waited for our waitress to come over, I tried to place an order for a drink and before my boyfriend or his friend could place their order she was gone. Who does that? Take one drink order and ignore two other customers sitting at the same table. That was my first bad sign. Next was she didn’t come back with my drink or to take the other two for about 10 – 15 mins, but yet she was constantly going and taking care of her other two tables. Finally I had to ask her to please stay until we place our full order. I just don’t feel like I need to go through all that trouble to place a meal order. What we ordered: New England Clam Chowder 50% off with check in Fried Calamari with Thai chili sauce on the side Half dozen oysters 3 east coast/3 west coast Clams Oreganata Stuffed Shrimp Cheese steak with waffel fries Crab Cake sandwich with sweet potato fries I’m not going to lie the food here is awesome and that is the reason I come back. The clam chowder was just the right consistency with a lot of clams. The fried calamari was amazingly good and had a great crunch, the Thai chili sauce brought that appetizer to a whole new level and I highly recommend it on the side so if you don’t eat it rite away it wont get soggy. The oysters I didn’t eat but my friend said they were super fresh and delicious I take it he wasn’t lying because they didn’t last long. My clams oreganata are one of my favorite items on the menu they are so fresh and delicious with all the yummy breading on top. mmm mmm mmmm they are so good. My friend wasn’t a big fan of the stuffed shrimp he said it just tasted a little funky to him so I didn’t dare to try. My boyfriend really likes the cheese steaks here in fact I think he hasn’t ordered anything else on the menu besides that so they must be good. The cheese steak is filled with large pieces of steak not shreds like other places I’ve been to. I always order the crab cake sandwich because its so good I love the crunch on the outside of the crab cake and the soft crab meat center paired with the remoulade sauce. Definitely doesn’t contain many fillers which I really enjoyed, just tons of crab meat. All in all I am going to give this location another shot because I’m sure every waitress isn’t that rude and I must of just been there at the wrong time. Regardless of her neglecting us the food here is very good. Hopefully you don’t get stuck with the same experience in service that I did.

I love BIGGIES I have been here so many times I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed it as of yet… I usually come here for happy hour or when I want some fresh oysters… I love EVERYTHING on the menu … The oysters which are always fresh, the ahi tuna tacos cooked to perfection and a good amount for each taco, the wings ahhhh the wings my favorite flavor is the thai chili(sweet and spicy at the same time) the varieties of pasta, fried calamari it so crispy and fresh not chewy like most places and if u check in is half the price, the pizza is extremely thin but it’s so good… I pretty much I’ve tried it all … And the drinks are so good and cheap … I love their version of long Island ice tea, sangria and other cocktails… I never had desserts here not sure if they have any but with so many options of food who needs dessert?

I’ve come here a bunch of times for dinner, lunch, and happy hour and have always had a good experience. I do love their thai chili calamari and their clam pizza. Those are my top two things on their menu. Mussels were just ok. Service varies every time I go. Sometimes they are really quick and always ready to serve, and other times they are a bit slow. Prices are reasonable. Small parking lot can sometimes be annoying especially if you go when its crowded. In general, its a pretty good place for some quick seafood or drinks

My third review! I keep coming here every now and then, usually with my girlfriends. Love the $ 5 martinis and sangria Sundays. So far I’ve been pleased with the items I’ve had off the menu. Calamari, thin crust pizza(pepperoni or sausage), waffle fries, Philly cheesesteak. I like the thin crust because its flaky but not stale. Waffle fries are huge and have a nice seasoned taste. Thumbs up! Oh and I tried a mussel from my friends order, so good. And there’s still so much more to try . Always have received great customer service from the waitresses too. If you watch sports this is the place for you! Lots of t.v.‘s, it usually gets crazy packed during football, basketball season… in the summer not as hectic, but I watch baseball so it’s good for me hehe

I am not a big fan of Biggie’s. It’s close to me so I came here with a friend for some late night drinks. Things I really didn’t like: — No prices on the menu for drinks and desserts. Like, seriously? I really really dislike that at a restaurant… why do I have to ask for the price of everything I want? Yes, price matters. I will not be tricked into buying a drink that costs a ridiculous amount of price. What’s worse is that when we did ask our waitress… she didn’t know either! She said«uhm, something like $ 3 or $ 5?» If you’re not going to put prices down… I would hope that the people that work there would at least know… apparently not. –No working dart boards. These boards were lame decorations that had no darts. There’s a table right in front of it so I guess they never expected anyone to ever want to play. –Happy hour ends at midnight. We started looking for the waitress at 11:45PM to get another drink. Waving, looking, sitting. Finally at 12:02, she comes to our table to ask if we need anything… «Oh and Happy Hour is over» she says. Yes, thank you, we’ve been looking for you for the past 20 mins. and you show up 2 mins past the end of HH. Thank you. Other than that… I guess t’s a fine sportsbar… atmosphere is nice… got TVs, drink specials, a nice bar and seating area. But honestly, I’m just not a fan.
