Loved the Indian Roti Wrap, dolma, salads, and cheese. Great for a quick lunch if you are staying at one of the hotels around the block.

Freaking WOW! My sandwich was amazing. I had a turkey sandwich and I LOVED it!!! Yes, I was really hungry, but oh man, one of the BEST sandwiches I had in a while. Price is great, too. 21 bucks for a salmon bagel(half bagel) chicken samosa, deli sandwich and two drinks. Really Amazing deal and especially with how delicious my sandwich was. Other food in the case looked yummy as well, staff is really nice!!! WOW!!!

I thought I was not gonna write reviews. But the food here is so tasty and cheap that I feel I need to write something! I had a tri-tip sandwich for just $ 7.5. The beef is so juicy I ended up going back to buy a salmon sandwich for dinner.

An excellent value in an expensive town, we stopped by for a late lunch, eaten al fresco in the small park across the street. The sandwiches here are all excellent, with a wide variety of drinks and snacks to accompany your main selection. The prices are quite fair. There is no seating inside, and there are no bathrooms, so be prepared to find your compensatory way around town,

The«chicken curry» sandwich is more like a chicken salad sandwich. No curry taste at all. Don’t get the chicken curry sandwich. Its not good.

Very good for the money! I had the herb chicken sandwich and my boyfriend had the ham. Real meat, no lunch meat garbage. I ordered mine hot and it was delicious. We also had the pesto pasta salad, very good. The only negative-the address is not correct, so if you’re visiting and trying to follow google maps, it’s not exactly right. The shop is two up from the post office with a very small sign. Find it and you will be pleased!

On our last day in Monterey we took a quick trip down to Carmel-by-the-Sea to walk around and see the shops. We decided to picnic it for lunch and stumbled upon this place near where we parked. Seemed like a good take-away spot so we decided to give it a try. They had a really good looking selection of deli sandwiches, so we settled on a local favorite… the tri-tip on a sesame roll. The sandwich turned out to be delicious, it was warm and the meat was perfect. Along with a bag of chips, a couple of drinks and a picnic table and we were in business! Thanks, gang!

Super friendly staff and a wide range of items to choose from. The terragon chicken sandwich was amazing, but they also have samosas, cakes, and vegetarian choices. It’s the only place in the area that isn’t super expensive. Walk around the corner and eat in the park for a great meal.

The Tarragon Chicken salad sandwich is to die for, as is the quiche by the slice(not the mini quiches) This is a favorite for Carmel locals lunching on the run. We cater our office meetings at Sotheby’s and we all love the breakfast burritos. The perfect to get your goodies for an impromptu picnic on Carmel Beach!

Great deli next to the post office. The sandwiches are very good and relatively inexpensive for Carmel. They’re sort of smaller sandwiches, but I don’t find that an issue. For the price, you can’t go wrong. They also have picnic baskets and a decent wine selection. Perfect spot for tourists who don’t want to be ripped off the the other shops.

Really nice service. I had the reuben with a pickle. To me, it was just OK. My guy felt the same about his salmon teriyaki sandwich.

Very cheap but made fresh to order sandwich! I made my own sandwich for 6.5 and it was hugeeee(I got multugrain and smoked turkey) Got the roll(much bigger than normal sandwich) My friend got the tri tip and said it was super yummy Price is pretty cheap for Carmel standard ;) but i did have to wait a while for the sandwich but it is a good sign that it was made fresh ;)

Can I move this deli to Omaha? There’s so many delicious food options. I picked up a chicken salad sandwich, tamales, soup, and samosa. I felt like such a pig but it was absolutely delicious. And the prices were great!

We used them for some picnic lunches to take with us to the beach. It was a great recommendation from friends and the selection of picnic lunches worked out for our large group. We had a couple gluten-free people(myself included) and this place accommodated us very well. It was fast, easy, and really good food!

Great place to grab a quick lunch to go before heading to Point Lobos. It’s a tiny shop — there is no seating. There’s 10 minute parking right outside. It was well staffed with friendly, helpful employees, eager to make you a sandwich. DH and I split a chicken tarragon sandwich and a tub of broccoli salad. It really hit the spot. Their bread is regular store-bought, but the multi-grain is nice and soft. I liked it. The chicken tarragon is actually like a chicken salad. Flavors were mild, but went nicely with the celery bits and lettuce. They are clever in how they put the lettuce next to the bread, so it serves as a barrier for the moist chicken mix. The broccoli came with a creamy dressing and it was fresh and crunchy. They have a vast array of potato chips, 3 homemade soups, lots of drink options, local baked goods and treats. Prices are reasonable and portion sizes are good.
