This place is now called 52 nails– or something like that. I was going here pretty frequently because their prices are good. However, I’ve never seen them clean a single instrument. They’ll pull the tray of tools from a lighted box I’m being generous in assuming is a sanitizing UV light, but my last time there the technician actually tapped the cuticle nippers for someone else’s skin to come out. Come on. She took a look at my nails(I was desperate and trimmed my own cuticles & filed my nails into the shape I wanted a day earlier. And told her there wasn’t much for her to do.) but she picked up the file anyway & went to town, making several nails uneven & crooked looking. And for some reason she dug extra deep on my pinky cuticle so I had to tell her that was enough but she cut a little more leaving me bleeding. Then for the gel polish she was applying she missed a large section on the side of 2 of my nails. I asked her to fix it, which she did. Overall, I’m tired of directing the people working on my nails. And although I have no problem with there being a language barrier, it’s a little frustrating to continually sit there in silence as my nail tech carries on a conversation with her colleagues in her native language. I just shouldn’t have to tell her my nail needs more polish!
