Basile Cafe

So while I am officially employed in the building where the Basile Café is located, I am not employed by the café itself which is run by Kahn’s Catering (the same folks who brought you Vine and Table), meaning I can write a Unilocal-​y review telling you all about it!
Hours are Monday through Friday 11 – 2, or 90 minutes prior to performances at the Palladium. It is very much a grab and go concept, and there are salads, wraps, sandwiches and few other plates. The soup changes daily, and while all are delicious, the corn chowder is ah-​mah-​zing.
Since it is located just inside the east entrance of the Palladium, it’s right off the Monon and there is outdoor seating when the weather is nicer. They serve beer and wine too (Sun King, Upland, and others) as well as coffee beverages and very yummy brewed iced tea. If you haven’t yet had the chance to poke your head in the Palladium, stop by and grab a little something around lunchtime!
