Do NOT go there! Took watch in 29 November for a battery and something happened to the stem/crown during the replacement. Was told they would get the watch to a nearby jeweller to fix at their cost on ¹²⁄₁ since it was a weekend. Made several calls to Batteries Plus for status over 11 days with vague answers. Just found out a few minutes ago my watch only made it to a different jeweller than what I was told on the 10^th!!! No follow-up as promised, over 1 week delay on getting it to where it needed to be for the repair. Hope to have it back on my wrist ¹²⁄₁₃ or ¹²⁄₁₅ at latest. Very irritating that no one could? would tell me WHERE my watch was.

Batteries Plus seems to be OK if you want what they have in stock. I’ve been there twice for batteries for items older than one year, and it can be frustrating. Recently went in for a cell phone battery. I admit it wasn’t a new Smartphone, but it was a reputable brand that is still in business. They had to order the battery, well OK. But the delivery date came and went, and I had to call on the status. I had to call or appear at the store two more times, each time the delivery date got moved out. Jay certainly was friendly and would get on the phone to ?, but was not pro-active in any way. Finally, the day it was supposed to be delivered from the warehouse, it wasn’t. Mike did call me to apologize and offer to drive to the warehouse to get it, which I took him up on. It took close to 2weeks to get a battery. Since many stores can sell batteries, the difference is in the service, and Batteries Plus can stand some improvement, at least at this location.

When it comes to mechanical stuff, I’m pretty well lost. I’m at the mercy of someone else.
I gotta say, I had a most pleasant experience at Batteries Plus. Well, as pleasant as you can have, when it’s 10 below and you need a new car battery.
Jay was professional and friendly, and gave me several options in several price ranges. Never once did he try to upsell me… he simply gave me facts, let me make my own decision, and in just a few minutes, I was on my way.
Good job, Batteries Plus. I’ll certainly be back!
