Nice little park/nature preserve tucked in the middle of a busy commercial area. Two trails(though not completely clearly marked, in my opinion). The trails are flat and fairly short — good place for some easy walking. There is a nice bird watching area inside the nature area and several educational exhibits. The adjoining playground and grassy field area are good for kids to play on as well. It’s a good way to get out in the woods for an hour or two. Not the place for anyone looking for vigorous or challenging hiking, but good for an easy excursion!

Nice park! I am impressed with the playground area — there’s so much to do! We didn’t even make it over to the nature center part, but we’ll be back!

Nice little park with trails to go for a nature walk or take younger kids to the playground area. Decent parking area & if you’re there for a picnic & need extra food/supplies, you’re not too far from Aldi, Target or blah Wal-Mart.

Love Cool Creek Park. They have a good mix of equipment for kids of all ages to play on with lots of it being stuff unique to this park. The nature center and trails are probably even better than the actual park and provide a great free way to get out of te house and enjoy nature.

This is such a refreshing little park with lots of trails and green spaces. Perfect for a family picnic or just to get a breath of fresh air. Plus the greenhouse is a fun way for the kids to learn about plant life. You can also get some compost soil if you ask from their compost pile! Thanks Westfield for keeping it green!

Although my almost 1 year old son is too young for this park, he enjoyed the toddler swings available. He loved it so much that he was annoyed when we’re about to leave. It has some tables where you can enjoy a picnic and theres lots of places to park.
