I have also experienced a cold reception at this store. The sales girls seem to be more interested in continuing their personal conversations than asking me if I want to smell anything. As it is, all the bottles are behind the counter so you have to get someone to spritz a tester bottle on a paper for you. It’s not like Macy’s at Del Monte Center where you can have a field day with the tester bottles. The store’s organization is bizarre. Men’s fragrances are not in one place; they are spread all over the store. I don’t know where to look for anything. Other stores like Sephora are SO much nicer because they have an entire wall devoted just to guy’s cologne. When you do get a sales person to stop what she’s doing and help you at this tiny shop, they usually don’t have the fragrance you’re looking for anyway. Pi? No. Gucci? No. «You might try Macy’s» they say. Yeah, no kidding? I don’t know how this shop stays in business, their selection is so limited. Even with women’s fragrances I have never been able to find the thing I’m looking for.

Ugh! Cold, rude, insignificant, and useless. Ordering from Bergdorf’s is a better idea! Don’t waste your time or money.

This tiny store in the Carmel Plaza has pretty amazing selection. It carries everything from Chanel to Laura Mercier to Nars… and ~30−40 different types of perfume. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. If it was a little bigger, I could have spent all day in that store…
