This is the perfect spot to stop in and grab a speedy breakfast before work. Their options change all of the time so there is no way to get bored with the menu! It’s always a hit with the ladies when I bring a dozen to my office.

I described my Italian chicken kolache to a coworker as meat and cheese in a yummy bread ball… Don’t hesitate to get it in your mouth. So good. I also had a chocolate cream cheese kolache, because how could I not? The people there were crazy nice, too… offered suggestions on their favorites and were very friendly. I just wish they weren’t located so close to my work… I’m going to visit way too often!

116th St. Kolacher, Spent $ 60 on-line for carry-out on a assortment of items with 1dozen assorted fruit filled, They stacked all the flavors on top of the each other, so even if you only like Raspberry you still have Apple on the bottom… Okay maybe put that stuff that’s at the bottom of the box in between each flavor? What’s it called? Oh yah wax paper! Sausage egg cheese and Bacon egg cheese didn’t care for them, Probably better when made with FRESHINGREDIENTS, not liquid eggs and meat scraps.

We love kolaches for breakfast! They have a lot of great options so if you want breakfast or even lunch they have kolaches that work for both. They can be filled with eggs, sausage, cheese, chicken, pepperoni, mushrooms. They have it all. They also have dessert ones. I usually like the egg filled ones, but also like to get a pizza one sometimes. I like they make a map of your choces on the lid of the box. They all look the same so easy to mix them up. They have parking in back for easy in and our. We have never eaten there since we live close or get them for the road. They had a comfty looking area with chairs, newspapers and a tv. You can get coffee, soda, tea, or they make smoothies.

Love this place! Have never gotten a lunch kolache, but have tried various breakfast ones and they all have been so delicious. Only giving four stars based on service. Food quality is always good, but quality of service is inconsistent. Feel like it should be part of their job to ask if you want the items heated. But aside from that, have encountered some unfriendly folk. Lucky for them, I’ll keep coming back anyway.

The Kolaches are amazing!!! We had jalapeño popper, Philly steak, bacon, egg, and cheese, along w/carmel apple. My review would have been a 5, but the young man behind the counter attempted to put my Kolache in a bag that fell on the floor and didn’t think twice about it.

I’ve worked less than five minutes away from Kolache Factory for years and I’m just now being introduced to its awesomeness! I honestly can’t believe it. These kolaches are the best little treats that I’ve stumbled upon in quite some time. For the beginner, these guys are a variety of ingredients baked into a sweet-like dough, ranging from breakfast ones to lunch to fruit dessert. I’m obsessed. I’ve tried several of them at this point: I really enjoyed the sausage and gravy kolache and the potato, egg, and cheese one. So, so, so good. I’ve also had the cheese and bacon one, and I plan on trying the ranchero as a coworker has told me it’s very good and spicy. I’m really looking forward to coming here for lunch, too, as they have BBQ beef, pepperoni and mushroom, and Philly cheese steak ones. I also ordered an apricot fruit kolache. They are a bit different, dough topped with a fruit gel. Cheap and delicious. They ask you if you’d like them heated up or room temp, which I assume they’re good either way. Not only is this place delicious, but also very cheap. I got a sausage and gravy, potato, egg, and cheese, and apricot kolaches for $ 6 total. Try, try, try!

I love this place! I love kolaches! I haven’t found another one since I left Texas. So this was definitely a nice surprise here in Indianna. We ordered the ranchero, the sausage egg and cheese, and the pepperoni mushroom. The ranchero is my all time favorite, the jalapeño gives a nice kick to it. This is my first time trying pepperoni mushroom. The bun is visiblly smaller than the e other ones. But it tasted pretty good. If you have not tried kolaches, make sure you try it here. It’s so delicious and portable.

Service is make it or break it. Kolache Factory is delicious. Don’t get me wrong. There’s no better way to start your Friday morning than with their warm dough balls stuffed with delicious breakfast foods. It’s good. I like it. But in order to get those delicious breakfast dough balls, I have to face some of the worst service, ever. I know it’s early. I know you’ve already talked to a million people this morning who have asked what’s in a ranchero kolache. But please, please, please just try to be nice to one more person(me). Every time I go here, the service is mediocre, at best. I’ve learned to grit my teeth and get through it(because really, they’re that good), but the lack of morning perkiness compared to, dare I say, Starbucks, makes this a once a month place for me instead of once a week.

These doughy pockets of goodness are a big hit at the office! They are great grab and go meals. In addition to the kolaches, they offer filled croissants, danishes, and a few other items. I haven’t tried any of them, because the kolaches are my favorite.

Nice little place located in a strip mall at the corner of 116th and Guilford Road. I’ve had a variety of the Kolaches, but my favorites are the egg/ham and egg/bacon varieties. They’ll heat them up for you and these especially hit the spot for breakfast. They also serve croissants… I’ve had the ham and cheese and it was good. Coffee is available and has always been freshly brewed. Service is good, too. There’s also a dining area which looks pretty nice, but I’ve always gotten carryout. Worth a try if you’re ever in the area and looking for something tasty and a little different.

My family is obsessed with this place. We love it because of the great array of options. Kolaches are essentially rolls with different fillings. My personal favorites are the pizza, egg & cheese, and cream cheese kolaches. The concept is very interesting and they are great to buy in bulk and then put in the refrigerator for later. It’s also best to go before noon so they don’t run out!

I think over time the service has improved. While I like the food and stop here every now and then I think it’s just good and hence the 3 star rating. Looking forward to the summer when the patio seats will be available.

In general a very nice place… You walk in and they have a nice little sitting area with lounge chairs and a TV… A nice touch… Walked in and there was no one waiting in line and the young lady helping me was very pleasant. They had a very good supply of all the kolaches… Very impressed with this one versus the one on Allisonville rd.

First of all, the parking lot is off the street and around the back. They have a large TV with leather chairs near the second entry. There are booths and regular tables. The bathroom was nice. It is a franchise and different from the one on Allisonville Rd. in Indy. I ordered their special limited time Kolaches of turkey and dressing as well as pecan pie. After it was microwaved warm enough, I enjoyed them. I think the pecan pie was not too sweet.

I was extremely happy to learn of this alternate location to the store on allisonville rd, which seems to have fallen into some awful state. My visit today to this 116th st location was nothing less than a treat! First the space was clean and inviting! The atmosphere and buzz was positive and friendly. The counter was being staffed by Gage and Cynthia. I received a friendly greeting from Cynthia who knew exactly what she was doing. She had a firm grasp of the products and even suggested that if there were anything special I was interested in I could pre order over the phone or online so that when I showed up I would be guaranteed to receive the items I wanted! I can’t emphasize how my experience here and the Allisonville location seemed so different, they might have well been on different planets. While this location may be a little further away I will be happy to make the drive in the future! And I’m putting gas in a Hummer! I can honestly and in good conscience recommend this location and that makes me happy because these things are DELICIOUS!!!

Where do you go when stuck in a hotel with an overpriced breakfast? You find a Kolache. The little stuffed dinner rolls put a donut to shame and leave the likes of McD way behind. I favored the hot polish today. However the special is turkey dinner; a kolache with turkey, stuffing, and cranberry. How can that be bad? Stop in, choose two and a small coffee and be on your way under 5 bucks. Cheers.

So amazing. The«fruit» ones are _not_fruit«filled». They just have a smidge of fruit on top. Don’t waste your time here! The meat stick one are just glorified pigs-in-a-blanket, but _not_as good as your mom used to make. MOVEON. The best are, and this is what I get every time, the Jalepneo Poppers, the Ranchero, and the Sausage Gravy. The first two are spicy(but not _too_spicy) and the third one is so scrumptious and mild that it will cool your mouth back down(eat it last!). The other breakfasty ones are good too, but, just not quite as good as the three I mentioned. Make sure you have them warm them up for you!

Today was a whirlwind. No. Today was a category 4 hurricane. Not quite a 5, but plenty of destruction to go around. My frustration at discovering I’d left my lunch at home was quickly replaced by a twinge of inspiration. I grabbed my phone and flipped through my Unilocal«to try» bookmarks. The closest candidate to the office? You guessed it. Kolache Factory. I hopped in the car and was walking in the door in no less than 7 minutes, surprised to find the place so empty at 12:30 in the afternoon. There were only a handful of other people and they were on their way out as I stepped up to the counter. I’m guessing they’re geared toward more of a breakfast/brunch crowd? My mind raced as I stared at the menu. I remembered a review that mentioned the ham & cheese. Sold. Next up — a sweet option. I queried the counter lady what she would suggest. This is where things got a bit rocky. I asked for a recommendation and the response was a shrug followed by a half-hearted flip of her hand in the direction of some options that looked like they were topped with some jam-ish type stuff. I panicked. Despite the absence of other customers behind me, I felt the pressure kick in. Make a decision. C’mon, c’mon, c’mon, do it! Cherry? I blurt this out half questioning, half begging for guidance. Panic over. She turned and added a red blob topped option to the bag with my ham & cheese selection. I’m handing her my credit card before I know what happened. She hands it back and I realize I have no beverage with my lunch. Second transaction completed, and I’m on my way out the door. I don’t know how to feel about my experience at this point. It was weird. An empty establishment and disengaged service? Maybe it was just the crazy bent of my day continuing? Driving back to the office I remember the other thing from the reviews of Kolache Factory I’d noted — have them warm them up for you. Drat. Cold kolache for me, I guess. My heart plumeted again when I looked in the bag and noticed the cherry topping smeared over my ham & cheese kolache. Sad face. After my first bite, I didn’t care. No way. No how. They were scrumptious! I wanted a dozen more, but I was completely full after just two. I didn’t even get a picture of the cherry one because I wolfed it down with such enthusiasm. I was two bites into the savory option before I remembered to take a photo. I want to do Kolache again. Soon. I want to do it better. Calmly select my options rather than panic rush. Have the kolache warmed. Bring a book and enjoy a peaceful lunch in the quiet restaurant rather than at my desk with one hand on the keyboard. I was jazzed by the food and underwhelmed by the service. But, maybe that was just this nutter of a day? One thing is certain, I’ll forgive quite a bit for just one more bite.

If you have not tried Kolaches, prepare for a new addiction and kids begging you to stop by every time you drive by. So, what are they? Not exactly the Kolaches of my childhood across the Atlantic, but quite a delightful alternative of sweet dough filled with savory or sweet ingredients. Our family favorites are ham and cheese, bacon egg and cheese, cream cheese and apple. One kolache feeds one young child, two-three for adults. Ask to warm them up — much better that way. Decent coffee, standard drink options. I have previously used the North– East location to cater kids’ birthdays and the food was definitely a hit compared to cold and tired sandwiches. I wish this location stayed open until 4 pm for mid-afternoon snack alternative. As of now, closes at 2 pm.
