I took a bite of the chocolate covered raspberry candy and it was moldy … I would check your candy before leaving the store…

Literally one of the best chocolate shops I have ever been to in my life. It was quality but not fancy and overly sweet. The white and milk chocolate almond bark was to die for and I loved the chocolate dipped strawberry!

Honestly, amazing customer service! Had goodies sent to me for Christmas time and there was confusion but they bent over backwards to make everything perfect! We had the«caramel & nut» mix dark/milk box and oh my goodness, BESTEVER! Thank you!

I walked by and noticed a man making chocolate thru the window and I stopped in because knowing it was being made fresh on the spot was a draw. Neither owner was nice or welcoming. I bought fudge and some chocolates. They were just ok. The fudge didn’t taste fresh. Just ok product and not very nice owners warrants a 2 star review

Drove all the way here and found out there was a sign on the door said be back in 5 minutes. Looked in window and lady was eating her food and reading a book. Waited for 15 minutes and still no unlocked door door and still eating. Do you NOT want any business??? If thats what you want you got it. We left. Not worth it ! Don’t go there.

The ½ lb of vanilla peanut butter fudge, which I ate in one sitting, was definitely 5* – moist, moist, moist! An entire CHUNK of heaven. Glad I skipped dessert at the adjacent Robata Grill and Sake Bar(where my meal was excellent).

Would never go back, spent $ 23 on caramel apples, as my 7 year old son went to take his first bite the apple hit the floor, the owners response, «well i just cleaned the floor.»

I’m not a big sweets eater, but I was tempted to buy a few pieces here and it was great! I loved the selection and was very happy with my white chocolate macadamia turtle.

Awesome chocolates! We had some yummy truffles: cappuccino, rum & macadamia cluster was another favorite. Do not miss the marshmallows dipped in chocolate. Slightly disappointing was the hot chocolate, which we went felt was not hot enough. But that was probably coz we were there quite late. I sure wanna book mark this place!

Pieces of Heaven is one of my favorite local shops I like to go to when I get chocolate. They have a variety of different delicious goodies, and all are delicious! Their dark chocolate and caramel isn’t like anything you can get just anywhere. I have had a lot of chocolate in my life, and I can tell you with extreme confidence that their Cara-mallows are the best! Is it bad to tell them you are getting a whole box of chocolates for guests coming when you don’t have any guests? ;)

I was greeted by one of their polite staff, treated to a delicious caramel apple with nuts, and got to observe how some of the chocolates get made by standing by their window while my husband and I enjoyed our apple! I would definitely go again :)

Everything I’ve had from this candy shop is good. It’s in a slow outdoor mall, so maybe it’s not the freshest and I wouldn’t drive out of my way to come here, but I did enjoy all the candy we bought here.

Every piece of chocolate that I’ve tried from this place was devine! The peanut butter cups which I saved for last bc I’m not a huge fan of peanut butter cups thanks to a youth tainted by reeses peanut butter cups were my favorite — not overly sweet and just the right amount of peanut to chocolate ratio. The chocolate covered almonds were also heavenly. Everything was perfectly fresh with a nice bit of dark chocolate goodness. Worth every naughty calorie.

This was the worst milk chocolate I ever ate. My husband and I went to do some wine tasting in Carmel Valley, and I was the responsible driver. I craved chocolate all weekend and asked around for a chocolate store. All I wanted was a good piece of milk chocolate(something tasting like Milka, Ferrero Rocher, Lindt, or Scharffen Berger). I am European. I did not expect this place to be like chocolate stores in Belgium, but I was hoping for at least something decent. The chocolate was tasteless with a hint of fridge staleness. I had dark chocolate truffles with hazelnut filling(which did not taste like hazelnuts), milk chocolate truffles, milk chocolate turtles, and milk chocolate coconut haystacks. Most of it went to the trash can. I recommend the owner to visit chocolateries in Belgium and get some inspiration.

Artistic, Delicious Fine Chocolates! My sweet tooth has been craving some white chocolate with pecans and we know, where to go. Homemade chocolates made on site are creamy, rich and satisfying. Charming shop has wonderful ambiance and friendly staff. Adore the sweet smells that lead you in… Prices are high end, similar to typical gourmet fare. Overall, a beautiful shop located in the Carmel Barnyard.

We tried only three flavors this time — amaretto, champagne and cognac ganache. I asked the staff if their ganache is European style or American style, but she wasn’t sure and said they contained butter. So they are American style. The best of the three was champagne. Actually it was the only one which had enough flavor. The rest were very bland and I couldn’t taste much amaretto or cognac. I don’t normally drink and I don’t expect too much alcohol in ganache, but they were really bland. They should have contained enough amount to give distinct flavor. The worst part is the odd flavor they all had. If you leave chocolates uncovered in the fridge, they absorb odd flavor. They just tasted like they had been hanging around too long or kept in the fridge. They certainly were not worth the price they charged: 99 cents a piece. I think Monterey Bay Chocolate in Seaside makes far better European style ganache full of flavors and are much better value for money. You can check out my review for that. Lastly, they were supposed to open at 10:00 but they were late.
