We went to the Stacked Pickle tonight for my husbands birthday with my son and his wife and there 2 kids. Upon arriving there was about 5 young people standing at the hostess desk, laughing and on their cell phones, we didn’t get a real warm greeting. We were told to wait a sec and then this girl came back and looked at us and said come on. Really !!! Our waiter had two earrings hanging out of each nostril and dreads hanging in his face and a pair of black shorts that once looked like they were pants and he cut the off himself. We finally ordered an appetizer and it arrived, then we ordered our main meal. As they were serving our granddaughter’s food they spilled an entire serving of Ranch dressing all down the back of her Northface coat, no apology from the waiter, no manager came over to say a word and finally a girl came over and took it to the kitchen. Not OMG please let us know if this doesn’t come out, it won’t if it was oil based. That ticked me off !! My husbands hamburger came out raw/my chicken was so over-seasoned that I couldn’t eat it and the veggies were hard and cold. My DIL’s order came out wrong as well. No apology again. As I ask for another water the server put his finger over the spout of the pitcher. EWW never again, not to mention the LOUD music and noise. It was roaring. If you are just a drinker not a bad place but not for food. As we left still kids standing around the hostess desk and not one word as we walked out. Someone needs to start managing this place. To many other places to go, so no thanks you couldn’t pay me to go back.

So overall, my experience here was«meh». Service was fine, the burger was okay(a little on the dry side). My wings didn’t have enough sauce(but they were happy to bring more). Fries were okay. There are lots of screens so I’m sure it’s very busy on game day. It’s a fine place to hang out and catch up with friends, but I wouldn’t come here for the food.

Quickie Review: An overall good experience until one night… We had been going to this location for years and it used to be our meal every Monday night with $ 5 burgers. Well one night before going to work I thought I’d get my usual. Unfortunately, I thought wrong. Normally we were served and out of there within 45 minutes. That night we sat there for an hour and a half and still didn’t get our food. What didn’t help the matter is that they were busy and our waitress was no where to be found. I ended up having to leave and my food was brought to me later at work. It was the most un-edible burger I ever had and just threw it away. I couldn’t eat the fries either because of how soggy they were. After being a loyal customer for so long you’d think they would take better care of us. Maybe I’ll give em another shot later down the road, but for now I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Had the fine fortune of showing up on Monday — $ 5 burger night. I had the spicy ranch burger and fried pickles as my side. Everything came out so fresh and amazing. The pickles were the best I had ever had. The burger was excellent. The service was great. I also tried the beer sampler. One of the beers was Tin Man apricot sour. If you ever get a chance to have this beer — jump on it. It was one of the best beers I have ever had.

We have been to this location several times. The ambiance is nice and the service is good for this level of establishment. I ordered the shrimp rice bowl. It was awful. After one bite returned it for a burger. The burger, well… is a burger. Nothing to get excited about. In all I can not think of any reason to return with all the equal choices out there.

We’re fans of Stacked Pickle and this location is one of our favorites. The restaurant is larger than the downtown location and doesn’t seem as loud until game day or extremely crowded. We always receive a warm greeting and the servers are friendly and provide great service. If you prefer to belly up to the bar you want be disappointed either with the service or recommendations from the very personable bartenders. Regardless of where you sit flat screens are easy to locate if your here for a game or just want to check out what’s currently playing. Super easy to accommodate a small or large group for a game or special event with the number of 4-tops you can pull together as your group grows. They offer daily specials on food and alcohol with $ 2 pints and $ 3 Indiana Craft pints or $ 3 Margarita & wing special on Wednesdays. Regardless of the daily specials the after work crowd start flocking in around 5pm for food, drink and conversation. Clientele ranges from millenniums to seniors, couples, singles and friends enjoying an after-hours cocktail. This is good pub food with many breaded items, fried or cheesy appetizers but healthy salads and entrees can happen here. Sure, you might need to eliminate a few fried onion straws, breaded shrimp or fried chicken BUT it can happen. I personally enjoy the boneless chicken wings with hot sauce. Their always tender chunks of white chicken breast, not overcooked, and the hot sauce has a nice bite without reeking of or overpowered by Tabasco sauce. Try the teriyaki sauce if spicy isn’t your cup of tea. The spicy Asian is tasty if you prefer a touch of spice with a little sweetness. Everyone we bring to Stacked Pickle loves the fried pickles and comments their not greasy. The burgers are consistent and hubby enjoys the BBQ bacon burger, tenderloin, fish & chips and Hawaiian chicken sandwich. The spinach salad and wings are my go to choices. Whether you’ve been here before or not stop by soon to enjoy the daily specials or find your own personal favorite.

Stacked Pickle always has pretty good wings, that you can count on. Service is hit or miss. Last night was definitely a miss, or just a case of the disappearing server. After our food was brought out he asked if there was anything else we needed… uh, silverware. After he brought it to us, never saw him again. Completely disappeared! Which was unfortunate, because I would have asked for mayo and mustard for my sandwich. It wasn’t until he brought the bill did we see him again. On my plate sat my sandwich… untouched. Never did he ask how was everything. I asked for a box to take it home. The funny thing was after he dropped the check… we saw hm more than we did the entire time we were there! The Caesar salad that was ordered was watery and the blandest chicken ever.

Every kid knows the axiom, «Don’t Judge a Book By It’s Cover,» and usually it teaches that you should look past the dingy exterior to see the greatness inside. However, the Stacked Pickle has the opposite problem, the amazing atmosphere and service is only a façade for mediocre bar food. You walk in the door and you are amazed by a great sports bar with ample seating and a lot of great waitstaff waiting to make your night great. Even better, the beer list is long and always changing. The food is mediocre at best. The chicken is dry and tasteless. The burgers are bland and unexciting. Although the nachos are decent and I’ve been told that the flatbreads are pretty tasty as well, the overall impression is 2-star at best. I don’t know if I’m going to go back, but if I do, it’ll be for the beer and atmosphere, not for dinner.

If you want a loud and fun atmosphere, this is a good place to go. Big TVs, good drinks and fast service. My favorite appetizer is a the fried pickles. I also like the fried mac & cheese bites, but sometimes they are perfect and other times they are limp/greasy. They have good burgers and specials. My favorite is Cajun steak wrap! Definitely worth a stop!

We were pleased after being cautious from reading a couple other reviews! We walked in to meet friends on a Saturday night and there was room to sit. Football games on the big screen with local fans all over. My wife had a Margarita, I has a Fat Tire. Waitress was quick to say hello and quick with beverages. She(Kelly H) had several tables but continued to stop by, and none of our drinks went dry without asking if we’d like anything else. We started with the Fried Cheese Curds. The batter was tasty and they’re served with a dipping sauce with a little kick. We’d do them again. We considered the fried pickles, but passed. A table near us got them, and it wasn’t long before there were none left. Good enough for me. For entrees, my wife got fish and chips, and I got the Pork Tenderloin. Her fish was tasty and moist, and the«chips» were as advertised. Lightly beer battered, and very good(HOT out of the fryer!). My Tenderloin wasn’t hanging off the side of the plate like I normally expect when I go somewhere new, but it was a little thicker but also very good. Prices were not out of hand($ 5.75 for the margarita, $ 5.00 for the fat tire), and the entrees were $ 10.50 and under. Thumbs up on this spot. Would love to come on a Sunday some time and watch NFL football!

So me and my family stopped in here after another place was extremely busy, so we decided to try it out. Even better there was a special for $ 5 pitchers and burgers! Amazing I thought. The food was decent and the bartender was great. She been kept giving me a new frosted mug. Kudos to young lady. And if anyone reads this she was the bartender on Labor Day evening around 7pm. Thank you for Doing a great job and working the holiday. Our experience was almost perfect until me and my uncle called out an apparent Trivia answer??? Our mistake. The Dj moved on, then out of nowhere some sloppy drunk dude with flip flops cargo shorts and a tight tee and a BADCOMBOVER comes behind the bar and starts yelling at my party. He was berating us and talking to us like we were two. So we got up and left. Who knows who this crazy guy is? Well come to find out his name is JEFFANDHESTHEGM. Well Jeff the gm, I’ll tell you that you really screwed the pooch on This one. It was my first experience with you guys and it will be the last. Especially if they all have clowns like you running them. I really hope someone from corporate reads these.

Kept calling it the crusty pickle but thats not really what it is. They got good food and a dozen or so beers on tap. I want to really like the place but… its loud as Giants game during the world series. Terrible acoustics in there. Couldnt hear myself think straight. Service is absolutely impeccable though. Kudos to the waiters and waitresses there. They are super attentive. I recommend the place if its got fewer people in or perhaps go outside if weather permits.

First time at Stacked Pickle. Gotta say not impressed. We ordered cheese curd. They were actually really good. Our entrees were Chicken Club Wrap and Chicken Melt both with fries. Chicken Club had more lettuce then anything else. Basic, nothing unique. Chicken melt was ok again uninspired and had tomato on it. We had asked for no tomato. Frys were beer battered. Beer batter absolutely ruins everything you use it on. Had I known I would have got another side. Keeping drinks filled. A big big deal to me. Our server was sitting at a table with three other servers rolling silverware while our drinks sat empty. Had the host not noticed the stack of dirty dishes on the table we would still be sitting with empty coke. I asked her for a refill and soon after our server brought them. Really see no reason to return.

A group of coworkers and I went to Stacked Pickle for lunch on a weekday. It was mostly full, but we had a nice table separated from the fray by the door. College basketball games were on, and we had three tvs within viewing range. I found the table service to be fine, wasn’t bad at all. I had a Cuban sandwich. The flavor and the pulled pork were very good, hot and fresh. As others have stated, the French fries are awesome — are they lightly beer battered? The serving size of my sandwich and my fries were a little bit smaller than I would have liked for the money, but I guess that helps with portion control. This is a great place to grab a quick bite to eat and chat with friends. Not a place to go to on a date.

This place is gem… Upscale yet not fussy. I’m particular about french fries; these french fries are superior to most. They serve Tin Man Beer here too which is something you have to try.

We frequent this bar for cold drinks and good bar food! The service is always great. Servers are entertaining and attentive. The fried mac and cheese is my favorite appetizer! I highly recommend trying it! I am a huge fan of buffalo chicken sandwiches. Great place to visit if you feel like falling off the healthy eating wagon. The Pickle has a lot of TVs. There is not a bad seat in the house. You can usually find us at this bar when the Butler Bulldogs are playing! I recommend everyone try this little dive bar!

I visit two Stacked Pickle locations regularly — this one is by far my favorite. The servers and managers are all super friendly and very visible. I come here with co-workers or my kids, and either way, we’re all usually quite happy. Good drink specials, good food, and large portions. It gets busy on game nights, so if you want to watch the Colts with a crowd, this is your place.

First time visiting this location with others. Parked in the back lot. There is a side entrance to this corner business. It was really loud inside with lots of TV and young people. I had a buy one get one meal 50% off coupon. So I got the steak sandwich(strip steak topped with fried onion straws on a hoagie roll — hold your A1-horseradish sauce) with the fried pickles and a spear pickle. This time I had the best fried pickles. Sandwich was good but the hoagie roll could have been a different type of bread. I took home for the next day’s lunch a Hawaiian chicken sandwich(chicken breast basted with teriyaki sauce then topped with a grilled pineapple and Swiss cheese) with more fried pickles. It was not as good as I had hoped probably because it was not fresh and I had to microwave the sandwich. The breading of the pickles were soggy. So I’m a fan because of the stacked pickles, which goes with the business name. Yeah!

Mmmmm fish n’ chips. I have some obsession with that meal right now, I think it’s because of all the Gordon Ramsey I’ve been watching lately… thanks Netflix. Regardless, the fish n’ chips at midnight were the best part of the night. To me they were super scrumptious but I am sure I will need to try again… in the daylight… if you catch my drift… I know it was late but our server was a little off and the service was slow considering there was no one else in there really. We’ve been in the summer and sat on the patio which is an enjoyable experience. The sampler appetizer has a nice mix of all the offerings. But for the price, nothing is really that exceptional, just convenient. And we live close by so we keep coming back.
