I have had 3 gynecologists in my 64 years. Dr. Taylor is the first female and it does make a difference. She LISTENS, wants to know what is going on in your life and is concerned with you as a person. The office exudes calmness . The yearly fee we pay now allows her to focus on her patients and not the bottom line. It is well worth it. I wish I lived closer so that i could talke advantage of her wellness lectures and yoga classes!

I’ve been here once and was pretty pleased. Dr. Taylor is very friendly and informative if you have any questions regarding your health. The first time I went here I had to wait for an hour to be seen, which wasn’t too bad, but there were other ladies ahead of me so it was understandable. I also didn’t feel like my appointment was rushed as I was being seen by Dr. Taylor which is a major plus for me. Once you’re done, they give you a piece of paper that has information on what to do to get your results. So basically you just have to call an automated number in about two weeks, and then you will receive an automated message about your results. Also, once a year they send you a postcard as a reminder to schedule an appoinmtent. Her office can be a little hard to find, well at least for me. I sort have gotten lost the first time I went there, but she’s located in the back of the entire building.

Stephanie really is one of the best gynecologists I have seen. I saw a specialist in another state who was amazing, so I can’t say with total confidence that Stephanie is the best. But, I haven’t brought her any big problems(thank God). She is VERY easy to talk with and not judgmental. She really takes the time to listen to your problems and address your specific concerns. She listens until I am done talking. This is something I have not experienced with any other doctor in the past 20 years. If you are in Monterey, I think it’s definitely worth a drive out to Carmel to see her. And, the magazines in her office are better than any other doctor’s office. No «Insider”/“In Style» crap. All smart, progressive stuff. Like her!

I went to see Dr. Stephanie Taylor on the recommendation of my best friend, who is a doc, and my personal doc, who is also a friend of mine. I was having a heck of a time, and they felt I needed expert treatment and advice from someone who was willing to work through menopausal hormonal issues. Together, Stephanie and I identified my issues. She came up with a plan for diagnosis, and several treatment plans depending on the diagnosis. When there was a possibility of cancer, she outlined my options, and referred me to a gynecological oncologist. He had some suggestions that I discussed with Stephanie. She talked to me plainly, reminded me of my issues, and helped me make the appropriate choice without needlessly messing around. Stephanie was able to do all this for me because she truly listens to you and figures out with what you can cope. I was pretty hysterical, but she was able to calm me and reassure me without even knowing me. She is warm, giving, and loving without being too touchy-feely. Her receptionist, Jane, reflects these qualities too in a lovely office that’s not too sterile, but not junky; just right! Stephanie is the best gyn I’ve ever seen, bar none! I highly recommend her!
