I had a great first appointment with Dr. Homler. I found him very professional, thorough and attentive. During the exam he continually talked to me about new research applicable to my potential issues. He adjusted my medication, reviewed my supplements in detail and did not just talk but actually listened to my concerns. He seemed very kind and caring. Also loved his assistant Tammy! His entire staff seemed very professional.

Dr Howard Homler has been my personal physician since I moved to CA in 2007. I know him to be a very wise, measured, accomplished, and compassionate provider.
He’s been there with me, for me through all sorts of issues and crises and risen to the occasion every time. He’s now my wife’s physician as well and takes great care of both of us.
His staff is welcoming, friendly, and professional. Efficiency with a smile is their credo is how I see them and they’re always understanding.
He’s got a great understanding of the data and will take the time to patiently explain to you the whys of what’s going on. We are partners in my health care and a model I would put up as ideal as far as physician-​patient relationships go.
As a former pharmaceutical company sales rep, trainer, and manager, I know doctors, and have called on, presented to, and had exposure to countless. So when I rank him with the best of them, I know about which I speak.

Dr. Homler is one of the best diagnosticians I have ever experienced. He works diligently to determine the underlying cause of an illness, then stays on top of the progress with the patient until the problem is resolved. The doctor takes the time to listen to his patients, never orders unnecessary tests, and is one of the most informed doctors on up to the minute procedures and medications.
The doctor has made referrals for me to two other specialists for various tests and the referral doctors were fantastic as well. No wasted time or money.
My wait time at the office has generally been in the range of 5 – 10 minutes and the office staff is courteous, efficient, and pleasant.
I could not recommend Dr. Homler more highly, whether it be as a family physician, general practitioner, or his specialty as an Internist. Fees are extremely reasonable and they take most insurance carriers. Patient long term health is their definite priority.
Dr. Homler is consistently rated in the top ten of health practitioners in the Sacramento area and he definitely has earned that distinction. He has staff privileges at Mercy Hospital across the street from his office, as well as Sutter in Roseville.
