I have been going to Niloo for over 2 years now. The mother and daughter who work together are a bit inconsistent in both customer service and threading. I still go there because they are conveniently located to me and are consistently better then worse, but there is room for improvement and it’s all very easy to do… I have been going to a few of the same restaurants for a couple years, local gardening store, local hardware… and people start to recognize you and treat you like family once they see your face a few times. This unfortunately does not happen at Niloo. Every time I go in there(generally twice a month for at least the last 2 years) I feel like a complete stranger. Only once has the daughter conversed with me in the time I have been going there. «What would you like?» Eyebrows please. I sit in the chair. They tell me to hold my eyes. Sometimes it takes them 2 minutes, sometimes 10, then I pay and leave. I wish that it were a bit more of a pleasent experience. Brief conversation, especially when I go in there and 90% of the time I’m the only person there, would be nice. A little recognition that I am the same person from 2 weeks prior would be nice too. It makes it all seem a bit unwelcoming and even unappreciative of the repeat customers. I brought a friend there several months ago, who also commented on the unwelcoming feel of the place when we sat there and were completely ignored for about 20 minutes while they spoke in a native tongue and were laughing and joking with others. I also brought my husband there, as he wanted to clean his eyebrows up for a formal event we were going to, and he felt the same way. A little recognition, conversation and smile, would go a lonnnngggg way(and possibly bring in a few more people). ALSO I just remembered a few months ago I was working in Davis and drove straight over there from work. to get my eyebrows done When I got there I had to use the restroom and they said NO. I understand that not all places allow public use of bathrooms but SERIOUSLY I have been a patron of their’s for over 2 years. I had to scramble in the crappy little complex and find a bathroom, which I was able to use at the Salon in the complex, but it was embarrassing, when they could have just let me use theirs.

Excellent customer service. Price was very reasonable, and the work was great. Their delivery to my request was far better than what I expected. They are very detailed and thorough with their threading, and they did not miss any spots. I highly recommend them and would go again.

Came in and was greeted right away. Super close and convenient to my house. The lady that was working there(didn’t catch her name) was super sweet and did an amazing job. She did exactly what I asked and left my eyebrows looking full and with a great arch :) prices were reasonable as well. I know I will be coming back again.

Niloo is very pleasant and efficient. Prices are good. I will definitely return. If the parking lot is full, there is more parking in the back of the building.

Carmichael’s best kept secret, I almost don’t want to write this review as I want to keep them for myself. I am hooked on threading, its clean, fast and cheap. The owner is super nice, accommodating and does a great job shaping eyebrows. They also do chin, lip and whole face threading. A fabulous alternative to messy, hot waxing.
