Place is really nice. Food and drinks are very good. Inside is very cool. English style pub. I’ve been to plenty of pubs in the UK and everytime I come here to eat and drink it brings me back. Staff and servers are always friendly and know their beers and drinks. Definitely recommend this place to anyone. Won’t leave disappointed. Cheers!

The food here is always amazing. That is their saving grace. The service here is always so slow! On this most recent trip here I ordered an iced tea and asked the waitress for some sugar and I waited. And waited. I ended up having to go to the bar to get it myself. It isn’t even busy. Maybe 7 other customers in the whole restaurant. For lunch I ordered the Irish onion soup(so yummy!) and fish and chips(one of my favorites here!). Usually when I order soup here or at any other restaurant, I get my soup before my main dish. Not today. It was ok tho since I had to ask for vinegar for my fish and that took about 5 mins so at least I didn’t feel rushed eating my delicious soup. After my boyfriend and I ate our delicious meal(he got the Stirling burger, its pretty great) we waited over 10 mins from finishing our food to even be acknowledged and ask for our check. I was also never offered a refill for my iced tea. Overall I do like this place, if you have ample time for lunch I would recommend it. The food has never let me down. The service has always let me down.

My husband and I are very picky. Food has to be great, service has to be on point, atmosphere and cleanliness has to be right. This place has it all. Best of all, Bartender/manager Kim is the best bartender I literally have ever come across. So attentive, l & sweet. Wing Wednesday is off the hook! Wings are the absolute most delicious! Making this a regular spot!

I’ve eaten here several times and the food is still not great. There are much nicer restaurants in our area. They ruined the beautiful fireplaces by covering most of them up. Too bad! Brother Oliver’s was our go to place!

Actual rating should be three and a half stars. Food was great. The problem is, I had to wait an extra 10 minutes for my pick-up order, this despite the fact that I placed the order several hours ahead of time(11:01 am for a 6:00PM pick-up order). The staff was nice too. And very accommodating, as they answered the request made by I and one other gentlemen there to turn one of the channels onto the US Men’s game. But the atmosphere at the bar was so boring. I have never seen so many people disinterested in a men’s soccer game in my entire life. Next time, I’m going downtown to one of the Mexican restaurants or to DeVere’s in order to watch games.

Hmmmm I thought I had written a review about this place because the service was terrible and the food was just as bad. We came in December 2015 on a Friday around 5. We had our 3 kids with us. The place was pretty empty and I was about to learn possibly why. We stood obediently waiting for the Hostess as the sign said. We got a little impatient after we didnt see anyone after a few impossibly long minutes and then got annoyed enough to hunt someone down. Frankly we shoulda left instead. We went to the bar to ask about getting seated. She said someone would be right there. A few more minutes went by and someone did show up to show us to a table. We thought a booth would be better to contain the animals and it seemed an imposition to her. We sat down and waited for a/the waitress to return. It took an impossibly long time. I shoulda timed it. She finally came back and took our orders. Simple dishes, i dont remember now exactly, scotch egg for the novelty, one kid asked for a side of carrots. The wait was reasonable. We got up to use the bathroom which was spotless, they even had sink hooks to put your purse on. When we came back our food was out but the waitress forgot the cutlery. Really. So we helped ourselves by the bar where they were being wrapped with cloth napkins and dug in for grub. Whatever my friend was eating wasnt cooked enough and my french dip was flavorless. The carrots that my child ordered had so much black pepper it was toxic. We sent it back and when it came out it was too hot to eat. We didnt see the waitress again and had to go to the bar for our bill and to pay. We were sorely disappointed and def wont be back. I gave 3* for the clean thoughtful bathroom, no stars for service OR food quality.

I visited here two times. I love Stirling Bridges. Me and family members gathered here for a dinner. That was so memorable day. Lot of fun conservation and delicious foods. Atmosphere is cool. One of best place to enjoy evenings. I love burger from here. Especially chicken burger. Love to visit here again.

The food is fabulous but the service is deplorable. We waited 5 minutes to be seated, were seated in the bar, and forgotten about. Finally the bartender took pity on us.

I’ve reviewed once before, but based on my latest visit, it is apparent that I need to review again. You need to come here. Seriously. It’s amazing. The food is delicious, and above all the service is amazing! We had Megan this last visit, and she may have beat Karen in customer service!(don’t fight you guys: P) She was incredibly personable and friendly and knew how to handle my dry humor and sense of humor and dish it right back without crossing any lines. I let even let her choose my dish, the Veggie Lasagna, and it was absolutely *delicious*!! Seriously. I’ve said it twice now, come here for some awesome food and, according to my friends, amazing and reasonably priced drinks: D

We were looking for a good burger place and a friend recommended this place. They did not disappoint. It was one of the best burgers I’ve had. It was seasoned just right. My wife got fish and chips. The fish was fresh and tasty. Service was friendly and kept our glasses full. I hate when they forget about you. Seriously a great place to stop in for some good tasting food.

Sitting here with the dining area not even half full. The waitress sat me and I didn’t see her again for another 15+ minutes. No water, no nothing. She eventually shows back up and I’m expecting some kind of, «sorry it took so long» or something but no. She just asks if I’ve had a chance to decide like this is normal. So I mention the fact that I was starting to think I was forgotten about. Still nothing. In fact I’m quite sure that pissed her off as She walked away with attitude after taking my order. I really don’t understand how anyone could think that level of service is acceptable. The food here is ok at best. Almost worth 3 starts but not quite.

Here for the second time and I haven’t even got my food yet and for some reason I feel like it was a mistake to come here! The menu is small and has changed since the last time we came in. OK we had the bangers & mash, the pork dip, and a pizza all way to salty. The only good thing about this visit is that the waiter was nice as well as a pastry chef that gave us a sample of some German chocolate cookie thing that was really good!

Oh, Brother«O»… where did you go? «Say it ‘aint so, Joe»! Upon your spirit our tears we bestow! We only got to visit you twice before you… wait… hold it… you transmogrified into STIRLINGBRIDGES… after countless visits later we have mammoth praise for you… consistently delicious food, especially your eponymous burger(fries are always great too!), and, what are those things called? «Sea Salt» chips? YUM! Margherita pizza is another favorite! Top Shelf margaritas are sensational, as well… Vast, and visually stimulating interior adds to the experience… any place which displays The Who, in addition to Dr. WHO’s TARDIS is «aces» in my journal! «ALLONS Y»!! In an auditory sense it seems the jukebox always has a great variety of classic rock… What’s left? The service… impeccably precise, quick, friendly, pleasurable, spirited! Through the years your staff has been nothing but wonderful… since we only know one name we can only name one name(although, everyone has been excellent): ALICIA! BRAVO! Thanks so much… we’ll see you soon!!! A+++

More modern and open that this locations previous pub identity, Stirling Bridges is lighter and brighter than I’d expect of an English«pub» and the food represents some of what would be signed English pub and the rest common beer pub foods. A few physical improvements have been made including removal of a separating wall and the upgrade of the bar and back bar to rustic modern. There’s definition between the dining area and the bar area. Lots of seating at the bar as well as high top tables, as well in the bar area. A remnant of the former pub hangs on the wall behind the bar. On this Friday evening, we hopped up to a high 6-top in the bar. A starter of Scotch Eggs(prepared in house), a Tito’s extra extra dirty martini with three olive spear(pimento; no bleu available) and a glass of 21st Amendment, Down to Earth. Arriving shortly after, my Bangers and Mash and her Tri-tip Salad. Scotch Eggs — were actually pretty good. I’d like to see a little bit more suasuage wrapped to help prevent complete dry-out when cooked. It was served with a sweet bbq style sauce. Not very traditional and, honestly, not what a Scotch Egg wants. Only my finger made a dip into the sauce. Bangers and mash(with dark brown gravy) was pretty good. The potatoes weren’t creamed too far leaving nice occasional potato chunk. Served with two bangers(and I can’t report whether they are true bangers or some alternative. because I don’t know the difference). I was pleased that both sausage and potatoes were not overly salty as I’d had in some other places. Nice portion size; half went home as lunch the next day. I’d been here once before and glad to bring«her» along for this ride. She now has another place for her girl’s night(evening) out.

Forth time here and came with my wife and two friends. Average food with slow service. Atmosphere was the only positive this trip. Our waitess seemed bothered that we were there and took at least 10 minutes for her to take our drink order. It took at least 15 minutes to get our drinks. Was watching a basketball game and three commercial sets went by while we waited for drinks. She even forgot mine. Food took even longer. Was a 2 hour experience for a simple meal. Not worth the $ 160 tab. A manager came by the table a couple times and he should have picked up on our displeasure. We didn’t complain or make a scene. Just wanted to finish and get home. I won’t be back

Favorite neighborhood bar, I used to live a couple blocks away and this place is a little gem. The menu has a good selection of food but my absolute FAV is the margarita pizza. OMG. Can I has more pizza pleeeeeeez??? Yum! I also like that they have a pool table, a dart board and a juke box with a healthy selection of music in it. Its a good time doin the pool thing, playing your fav tunes and noshin on margarita pizza. My idea of a good time :) Actually, one time I visited Stirling Bridges, the pizza I ordered had what looked to be old yellow tomatoes on it and I was less then satisfied. I asked the manager if they had started using different produce because the pizza usually had small red delicious tomato nuggets on it and this one? Well, it was just… OLD. No other word to describe it. He agreed that it didn’t look ‘right’ but left it there on the table and 20 minutes later came back with another one and it was PERFECT. He said I could take them both home and offered to not charge me for either one– totally on the house! WOW :))) Really? Now, that’s how you make a bar hopper happy! I thought that was the nicest gesture! If you happen to be in the hood and need tasty bar bites, cold brew and awesome bar staff, stop by Stirling Bridges and try it out. Try the margarita pizza too, betcha you’ll eat the entire thing!

I came to Stirling Bridges on a Wednesday night to play some trivia with friends. The bar was almost empty when I arrived at 5:00pm, but it filled up to capacity once trivia got going at 8:00pm. The restaurant portion remained nearly empty the entire night with only 1 – 3 tables filled the entire time. The bar area is nice with a wraparound bar and plenty of tables along with a few booths. I got a Strongbow Cider for my first drink because it’s one of the few places around here where I’ve seen it on tap. Yay! My second drink was a Blue Moon(with an orange of course) which they also had on tap. They were both equally delicious. To eat I got the Fried Cauliflower and the Macaroni and Cheese(without bacon) because they were two of only a few vegetarian options on the menu. The Macaroni and Cheese was actually pretty good! It came with pasta and was cooked perfectly and was nice and creamy, not watery at all. I had never had Fried Cauliflower before but it was super good as well! Not oily and fried nicely. It did taste a little like meat as it was fried in the same oil, so if you’re a super strict Vegetarian I would stay away. It came with a nice Buffalo Sauce for dipping. Service at the bar was very good and attentive. I always felt taken care of and never forgotten. Trivia night was fun and we had a blast answering the questions with a few other people at the bar who joined our team. We ended up taking third place and each received a cool free pint glass! I would definitely come back again for another trivia night.

A fun largish pub in the heart of the suburbs. I was so surprised when I stopped in here for a beer, it has changed completely from when it was Brother Oliver’s. Gone are the stinky cigarette smells in the carpets and all of the 1970s trappings. Now you’ll find a cool pub like the Kilt Pub but larger & with more offerings, except for beer. Spotted cauliflower buffalo wings on the menu, looked like a really interesting choice. Several taps, two or three IPAs, but I didn’t see anything local. Nearly lost a star on that one. Strategically placed next to Home Depot so you can get something on the way in and maybe something on the way out too. ;)

Pleasantly surprised, I have heard good things from co-workers but have never been here before. The outside of the building looks run down but the inside is very nice completely remodeled! Today we just went for happy hour few hors d’oeuvres and drinks. They have Moscow mules(my favorite drink) on special for $ 5 so of course I had a few! We also tried the cauliflower hot wings… they were my favorite… the bacon wrapped sweet potatoes and fried pickles. Everything was great and a little different than normal appetizers, I love the alternative to regular wings making them with cauliflower. The bartender was really friendly and sweet we loved our first experience here, it’s like a new little gem in the neighborhood! I definitely recommend this place to locals! Let’s hang out!
