This is the only grocery in my town. It sucks. Bad. Here’s why: A. Food is often expired. I have had to return moldy and rotten food FAR too often. B. They have nothing beyond the ordinary… If it’s in a current haute cuisine recipe, go elsewhere. C. I just bought a roast chicken at the deli TODAY… Brought it home, cut it… RAW on the inside!!! D. The heat is always broken, it’s always freezing cold inside… Last year the manager was on the roof trying to fix it… Crazy. Bottom line? The place is awful. The employees are good, but thus store is the bastard step child of the QFC chain. It’s a shame too… Carnation is the capital of organic farms and such a great arts community. Shame on the QFC heads who do not get it! Give us a market we can shop at! Not a warehouse of expired foods nobody else bought… People, if all if Carnation dies of food poisoning… WORD! Our QFC killed us!

They have the basics and a decent produce selection, but if you are looking for anything above and beyond this you’ll have to travel up the hill to the QFC on Redmond Ridge. Put it this way, yesterday I was craving some Naan bread(which I have never had trouble finding before) and was greeted with a series of strange looks when inquiring. Definately, a small town grocery store. You’ll find what you need, but don’t expect much more.
