Saturday around 9, Drunk guy at the bar with his buddy (spouting out racist slanders), service was acceptable but slow, pizza crust was NOT good, wings were meh, and im pretty sure they put slice yellow cheese on my BBQ chicken pizza.
BTW we were starving so anything SHOULD have tasted amazing… IT DID NOT.

We ordered pizza on a busy weekend for pick up. 1 ½ hour wait, but we had a feeling it would take a while and we planned ahead. They added mushrooms to a pepperoni pizza by mistake which not everyone appreciated. The taste and qualify was 5 star.
We’ll go back!

We are in town visiting and decided to try CB’s Pizza. We were beyond happy with our decision to go there! We ordered a medium thick crust CB combo pizza, and it was so good! The veggies were fresh and delicious. The meat had excellent flavor and the amount of cheese and sauce was perfect. My husband and I are typically big eaters but it was so dense and filling we only were able to eat about half of the medium pizza. We definitely would recommend this place. The pizza was delicious!!!

Solid pizza joint. We had a half combo and half BBQ chicken. There was tons of topping on each half making for a great meal after a full day of hiking. The crust and sauce is pretty good too. I’d definitely go back here if I’m craving pizza.

CB’s is a wonderful! I have never had a bad experience here. The food is delightful, The beer is cold. CB’s is a staple every time I come to Tahoe.
I always tend to lean more towards the sandwiches and pasta dishes as the pizza has occasionally been lackluster, but recently that has not been a problem. The service has always been friendly, quick and eager to please. ‘
The secret to a great night in Kings Beach: Call in your take home order while you’re rocking a game of mini-golf next door. Then cruise home and open up a squared boxed Tahoe classic.

In short: Best pizza in North Lake Tahoe.
Should you try it? Yes
Ambience: There are tons of locals who hangout/meetup here and it makes the atmosphere kind of skewed toward an older age (so if you like that, great place to meet people!)
Service: Very good service. She even gave me a free glass of wine since it was the last of the barrel!
Location: Small parking lot. Great proximity to all North Tahoe activities and communities.
3 Key Tips:
1) Order takeout.
2) Get regular crust — it’s seriously incredible!
3) The small pizza would be perfect for one person if you want a leftover slices. And you do want a few leftover slices!
Best Dish: Regular crust pepperoni/onion/green pep pizza!

BAD EXPERIENCE
visit Tahoe every summer for a week
always try and look for local food gems
Well this is far from one :/
I think the boy behind the counter was 14? and was not excited to be helping anyone
And his mother? maybe, seemed to just be complaining and serving people she knew
Some of this might have been forgiven if the product was all the good but sadly I was underwhelmed
…won’t be returning to this pizza joint

Went this past weekend service was ok. We got pizza and some appetizers. Pizza was pretty good but took a long time for our food to come out. Overall a decent experience just wish it was at a quicker pace.

Called in a to-go order and when we went to pick up almost 45 minutes later, it wasn’t ready! In fact, it wasn’t even sent back to the kitchen! They gave us 15% discount which was nice. It just seemed a little unorganized especially in the kitchen. The food was surprisingly good though; we ordered calzones, Cesar salad and spaghetti & meatballs (because they ran out of lasagna).

Stopped in here on a whim, decided to «just do it». Happy hour 3−7pm, $ 13 pitcher of IPA, and the chicken parm was really good. Also, live music Wednesday. 5 stars

Getting better! More consistent staffing and they have not botched a pizza in a while now. They went through some growing pains for a few years and now it’s a great little pizza spot again.
Things to know:
TV’s and a bar inside
expect a slight wait for a table and food
dog friendly outdoor seating (not a nice view, you’re in a parking lot)
good table wine
cool local art for sale on the walls

Ordered dinner for 8 people and we were not disappointed! The pizza was great, even the special order we go with no cheese and gluten-free crust was good. The salads were pretty big, although after all the pizza no one was that interested in them. The only thing I didn’t like is that said a large pizza only feeds 4 people, but it fed 8 people so I bought two large pizzas when we didn’t even finish one! Besides their bad estimation skills, great pizza :)

Absolutely terrible!!! My thin crust was slimy and undercooked. Crust tasted like cat food! Pizza was so bad the 7 – 11 nachos tasted better. Never will I return to this sorry excuse for a restaurant.

CB’s gave us exactly what we wanted, good food at a good price. Their chicken wings were good and they made delicious turkey burgers.
Weird thing is that they don’t offer refills on soda and they charge $ 6 for a pitcher which is a bit much for soda. It’s packed and parking isn’t great, so prepare to wait a while for your food. Our waiter was a nice, attentive guy who made sure to refill our water as often as he could. I would come back!

Stopped in here after my son’s performance at the middle school down the street. The date was May 29^th 2015 around 8:00pm. We were told to sit anywhere and then 5 minutes later the menus were just dropped on the table without as much as a «hi». Both my wife and I both said hi but there was no response or even an acknowledgement with a smile. Sorry for bothering you with our presence. Can you imagine how «great» the service would have been had we decided to stay and give this business $ 75+ dollars in income? I guess the locals are just not important. It’s all about the visitors. Amazing how Phil could allow an employee like this at his business. I think he was even there that evening. Sad that another local restaurant just got taken out of our rotation.

I have tried this place several times and each time I come away disappointed. First tried it a few years ago and the pizza was very good, but the experience hasn’t been repeated. Tried the burger and while it was huge it had no favor. Oh well.

Worst service. Okay, not great food.
I went last night, sat at a table in the bar. The waitress yelled across the room «I’ll be right with you». Several minutes later she yelled «have you been helped?» Really? Is there anyone else serving the bar? I order a beer and food. Several minutes later the beer is remembered and delivered. Space at the bar opens up so I move there. The food takes a long time, but finally it shows up at the window from he kitchen. She walks past it three times, then delivers it.
Tonight I try them again. It’s really close and I just wanted a quick beer and burger. Same table but as I take off my coat and sit at the table she yells «are you here for takeout?» Really? She brings a menu and I order a beer. A full 10 minutes later I walk out without a beer.
I won’t be back.

If I could have given zero stars I would have. Our coach called a week in advance, asking if CB’s could accommodate 30 people for pizza and drinks. He was told yes. We arrived after the 3^rd game of a softball tournament and were told, rudely, that our coach had not spoken to the lady that was there Then, and that they would NOT even THINK about serving us. We asked if we could have ½ inside and ½ out, and she said no, they didn’t want us. They turned away $ 400 from our group (which we spent elsewhere) AND were very rude.
Place is dumpy from outside and looks like only regular locals go there. Sad.

Our favorite pizza in Carnelian Bay. We have been coming here since 2002 and though owners and staff may have changed, the food has remained the same high quality I’m used to.
This is the only place I’ll get a meat lover’s pizza-it’s the best! They also have a delicious white pizza we get often.
Great selection of beers and wines, and the bigscreen TVs always have the game on.
