India Delight

I was pleasantly surprised to have such a high caliber of food come out of this place. From the outside it looks kind of like a fast food place and the inside is nothing to brag about. Very plain. However, the food was obviously very fresh and well prepared. The prices were not out of line and the service was friendly. Their naan bread is hands down the best around. Very good. I place my rating 4 of 5 only for the atmosphere. If it were a rating for food alone I would rate it a 5.

My Mom and I were the only diners here for lunch yesterday and we really enjoyed everything we ordered. We had a delicious chicken curry dish and a vegetable biryani in addition to some garlic naan and a cheese dessert. I also had a very tasty but filling yogurt mango lassi to start. The new owners added a small vestibule in the front of the restaurant which makes the inside a little warmer. They also added tablecloths and nice dishes to each table. Our server was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely like to go back as we loved the taste of everything although we found that medium spicy was a bit too much for our palates.
They will soon be adding a lunch buffet for $ 8.99 which is a great thing for those of us who are new to Indian cooking.
One thing to note is that the owners pass along the 3.99% that they pay for credit card transactions directly to the customer. It is clearly listed on the bottom of the bill. You will save money here if you pay in cash.
