Every time that I’ve been here the service has been pretty good. The guys and gals working there are pretty friendly as well. They’ve messed up my order twice, though. Other than that, it’s a very good place to eat.

We went to this Jimmy John’s on Geneva St last night at 8:46PM. Two workers were smoking in front of the store. We tried to open the door but it was locked. Those two who were smoking told us they were closed. I asked them what time they close, and one of them told me they close at 8:45PM. I never heard any restaurant or take out shop close at 8:45. We went to Qdoba instead and asked their closing time. It was also 9PM but they told us they welcome any customers. After we went home, I checked Jimmy John’s closing time at Jimmy John’s website. The website said closing time is 9PM. That is the closest Jimmy John’s from my house, but I will never go back there again.

Each time I visit here its uneventful. The people are friendly but the service is only just OK. The person who was behind me received their sandwich first. What is with that? I always feel like I am imposing on these people when I arrive. They want to play with their cell phones, not take care of customers. The sandwiches were good as always but I try to avoid this location as much as possible.

I went to this location today and was hurried out the door because they had no bread, and the bread wouldn’t be ready for over an hour. It was noon, on a Monday and I wasted my lunch time going to this location since I left empty handed. There were two shelves of bread visible but I was told they were for deliveries. So I drove to this store in the middle of a snow storm and I don’t deserve the bread that’s «reserved» for deliveries? I will never be back to this location, you lost a loyal customer, I’ll be at a different Jimmy Johns nearby.

Lights out on sign, cold and dirty inside, and in the middle of the dinner rush, they’re out of bread. Love JJs, but skip this one.

Consistently good food and good service. I order from them weekly. Sometimes I have them deliver, and sometimes I pick up based on how busy I am. My order is always correct, and I the sandwiches are always amazing. I look forward to my lunches from here, because the drivers are always so nice. The delivery time ranges(but we are not in Hollywood) and I’ve never had a problem with long wait times. Thank you!

There are plenty of places to get a good sandwich. This is not one of them. Ordered online and their delivery was nearly 20 minutes late. The sandwich itself was pretty pathetic. The bread was hard and there wasn’t very much to it. The turkey had a bit of a strange texture as well. If you want a good sandwich, Augustino’s is right down the street.

I took my sandwich to go, got home and found a long blonde hair mixed in the lettuce. I have short brown hair… Nauseating.

I’m less than a mile down the street. And they won’t deliver. But they have delivered here over a hundred times. They just lost a sale

I’ve ordered from this location a few times for lunch and have been satisfied however things were very different when I was trying to place a catering order for my son’s birthday. I called and got the wrong price for a 30 piece platter TWICE. Two separate people told me the same wrong price. After I had placed my entire order, they called me back a few minutes later and told me the correct price. It was only a $ 15 price difference but it was the principle that I was upset about. The woman I spoke with– I guess it was her first few days, I understand people make mistakes, but when I asked to speak to the manager, John Wisemore, he made me feel like I was trying to scam them. All I asked was for them to honor the price I was quoted. When he told me there was no way of doing so, I asked if they could deliver to my house for no charge, he proceeded to tell me that even though I lived five minutes away, they didn’t deliver to my neighborhood and then told me no Jimmy John’s location delivers to me. John told me all he could do was give me «a few bag of chips». Thanks, but a few bag a chips won’t really help me out when I am feeding 60 people. The way he was speaking to me made me feel so small and as if I was doing something completely wrong. I then told him to cancel my entire order as I will be going elsewhere. I did not want them to have any of my business. After I told John I was cancelling my order and that I was going to be calling the owner, he told me to not cancel and to see what the owner can do–«maybe he can do something more for you». No thanks John, you already lost my business. It’s unfortunate– all for $ 15 … Don’t people know that great customer service goes a long way?

I have been going to Jimmy John’s for a while. I love the ham sandwich there(#7) and the Garguntuan is a great sandwich as well. The sandwiches always taste fresh and the service is fast and friend. I like it!

I got the worst customer service possible from this place ever. I used to order here all the time and they would deliver to the hotel that I stay at. Then all of a sudden they started saying that they couldn’t deliver to the hotel because«it was out of their zone». IT’S 2.2MILESAWAY. Are you kidding me. Then they got me to a manager who refused to deliver saying that corporate doesn’t allow them to deliver that far. That was the biggest load of BS that i have ever heard. My brother is a manager at a Jimmy Johns in Iowa and each individual store can pick their zones that they want to deliver too. Long story short they used to have a jimmy john’s menu in all 100+ room of the hotel, and this past time I stayed it looks like they took it out of the rooms and off the preferred restaurant guide. Have fun losing a whole bunch on money.

Wow… I don’t expect grade-A customer service from a sandwich shop that slings subs so fast you freak… but a little common courtesy would be nice. I mean, when I order a sandwich, am handed the wrong sandwich, and then made feel like it’s somehow my fault… then there is a clear breakdown in service. First off, let me say I will never come here again. Secondly, let me describe how things went down: Me: I’ll have a Club Lulu. [order taker inserts order, I pay, the sandwich line goes to work, I step to the end of the counter to wait] [Almost immediately] Worker at end of line: This your sandwich? Me: Is it a Club Lulu? Worker: Yeah. [I take the sandwich and drive back to my office. Almost there I see number 12EZOVO. I wonder is my sandwich a number 12? I don’t know but my sandwich certainly doesn’t have olive oil, nor did I ask for easy on the anything. I got the wrong sandwich. I drive back. At this point I’m not too happy because I’m wasting valuable eating time on driving around in circles.] Me [very politely, I should add]: Hi, I think I was handed the wrong sandwich. Mine doesn’t come with olive oil. Counter person: Oh… you’re the guy that left your number 16. I’ll have to check with my manager. [Excuse me? I didn’t leave a damn thing. I was handed a the wrong sandwich after asking if it was indeed my sandwhich. And what do you mean check with your manager? The way I see it, there are 2 options: 1) you give me my sandwich 2) you make me the correct sandwich.] [She comes back with manager] Manager/Supervisor: Yeah, sure give him his sandwich. Counter person: Ok, we’ll need the other sandwich back. Wow, no sorry, no here’s your sandwich sir, sorry for having to drive back. Nope. None of that. However, they did have the time to insult me. So, this place, never again. Bleh.

I should start by saying that the employees at this location are nice and friendly. The gentleman at the register who took my order had a great sense of humor and was very helpful. That being said, I’m not impressed with their sandwiches. I prefer Subway much, much more. The sandwiches at Jimmy Johns taste too generic and bland. I also don’t like how when your order is ready, they just place the sandwiches on the counter. You have to grab the bag and do that all yourself. Once, when it was really busy, I grabbed the wrong sandwich. Another reviewer pointed this out but it’s worth repeating. If your coming from Geneva Rd, it’s an easy place to get to. But you can also get to this location from Home Depot by following the road around to the other side. The parking lot can get a little crazy, especially during the busy times and on weekends. So be careful. I only go here if it’s the only place nearby and I want a quick sandwich.

It was FREEZING here! I met a friend for lunch at 12:30 and there was 1 table left by the bathroom. It was clean as the rest of the place was, but I’m guessing the thermostat read in the low 60s. This place is not big. It’s actually like a narrow hall/alley. You walk in and go to the left to order, then you start walking in the hall to pick up and find your seat. There are about 3 or 4 tables near the ordering area, in the front of the restaurant. The rest of the tables(maybe 6 or 7 of them) are in the hall/alley-like area where you have tile walls on either side of you. As far as our food went, it was good. I’m on weight watchers, so this wouldn’t have been my first pick for lunch(no salads), but they do have an «unwich» which is a lettuce wrap. That gave me many options. I got the tuna and there was plenty of tuna in it and it was wrapped up very nicely. Any of the other sandwiches were TONS of points and pretty much almost 80% of my total daily allotment, so the unwich fit very well into my food for the day! The parking lot is kind of weird. Parking is on the south side of the restaurant and it has arrows showing what way you are supposed to drive. That’s fine if you enter off Geneva Road. I came around the other side, over by Home Depot, and scored several dirty looks because I was going opposite the arrows. There were no signs and I had no clue. Sorry.

While I useually can’t say anything good about things called slim, I must admit the slim 5 here is quite tasty. Whats not to like about Jimmy Johns. First off these Buns are fresh… None of that stail crap they have over at Quiznos. Also the slim 5 leaves the rabbit food off. Honestly if subway tried this you would only be left with a sub roll. Over all the tables here are clean also. It is nice to go to a fast food place an not have to see your childrens left overs on the table. Messy parents you know who you are. As far as chain sub places go Jimmy johns can’t be beat.
