My wife and I stopped in for falafel pitas and we got exactly what we wanted. They have a very good falafel recipe! They don’t skimp either! Gyros look awesome too but I think we were trying to be healthy. If you are looking for gyros or falafel you have already found a spot.

100 rating sanitation rating and excellent gyros! I always get extra fetA. Hours in offseason are a bit tricky but in season they open all the time.
Can’t speak for anything but gyro but it’s fast fresh and huge.

Zaaki Grill is our go-​to place for gyros. Can’t speak to anything other than the gyro and french fries. They are both delish, and that is our order every time. We try to have lunch there once a week, if possible. Prices are very reasonable. Also, the owners are a very nice husband and wife, very friendly…

Absolutely delicious, my family went twice while here on our week long vacation because the food was that good. I’m not usually one for gyros but the pita they use is great and their hummus is by far the best I’ve had. And very reasonably priced!

Me and my room mate just tried this place out when we were planning on getting subway and we made the right call on that one. Food is awesome and the owner was a cool guy with friendly conversation. Give this place a try if you find yourself in Carolina Beach.

This place is awesome! Beef/​lamb platter was amazing; it came with rice, hummus, pita and salad. The falafel was so good. Overall a pleasure to eat! First time we had been impressed all weekend.

A very no-​frills interior, but the food is fantastic. The falafel was not dry, like it is at many other places. Get it to go and eat along the beach — just don’t get sand in your hummus like I did!

Hands down, best gyros around. Meat cut from the rotisserie spit, onion rings are great, falafel quite tasty too! Is a shame they close in the off season. Closing this year are the end of September! Go try it soon

Wish you could give more than 5 stars. This place is awesome. The owners are friendly and take pride in their food and culture. They helped pick some great food. We are not well versed in Mediterranean cuisine. They let us sample dishes and even gave my wife some body lotion from Greece (they sell a bit of Greek specialty items as well). We will defiantly return on all of our future trips to the island.

Zaaki’s is another little known local favorite. They have mouth watering gyros heaped with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and their homemade cucumber sauce for only $ 4.99! They also serve falafel, homemade hummus, spinach pies, grape leaves, and pita sandwiches (ham, crab salad, vegetarian). In addition to the greek fare and pita sandwiches, they offer onion rings and fries. Plenty of food at a reasonable place, and a great additional to the surrounding beach fare. You could get everything to go for a nice beach picnic. As a bonus, the Island Gazette often features buy 1 get 1 ½ price coupons, and you get 10% off if you bring your receipt back in 2 weeks. The place is large and clean. The counter staff are friendly. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Cash and credit accepted.
