Went here twice. First time I went they completely butchered my hair and after asking to change it, he gave me attitude and refused. I insisted I talk to the manager, he said he was. I think his name was Michael. After leaving, I came back and got them to change it. They wanted to charge me again!!! They changed it to something slightly better. lesson learned, never will I venture there again.

The fact that Laura Funkhouser is an instructor at the Paul Mitchell School in Santa Barbara told me I’d be in good hands. Yup, she’s great and my hair looks the way I want it to. Their cute little salon is intimate and on more than one occasion I’ve found myself and a few others in the salon singing along to some great song. It’s friendly and warm there. I’ll be back soon no doubt!

I love this salon! It’s a smaller place and that results in a more personal experience. I like that everyone can be in on the same conversation at once. I’ve had my hair colored, cut, or styled by both Laura and Sam, two very talented stylists. I would recommend both of them to anyone, and everyone who works here is so professional, kind, and fun to talk to. The first time I went, Sam promised me the best shampoo I’d ever had — and I was a bit skeptical. But no joke, they provide the ultimate shampoos, the best I could ever imagine having. If they were offered a la carte(and maybe they are?) I would be there weekly. I can’t express how insanely relaxing they are. I also love the semi-permanent PM Shine color. Thanks Sam and Laura! I’ll see you again soon!
