Every time we come to this Arby’s the food is hot the staff is nice and the restraint is clean. It also is one of the only ones in the«greater Raleigh» area that has the brisk peach green tea! And one of the most impressive things about this Arby’s the manager talks to you and remembers things from previous visits– even if they were months prior.

We got there and we ordered our food, and right before we were going to pay, they told us it would be another 20 minutes before they would have any beef. After talking my group, we decided we could wait. then when we tried to pay for our meal, which cost about $ 55, we tried to pay with a $ 100 bill. The manager came out and said we couldn’t pay with a hundred because she didn’t know how to check if it was real. So we got turned away, and essentially accused of lying to them because of their inability to check if a crisp new $ 100 was real. It wouldn’t have been a big deal if our meal cost below $ 50, but it was over $ 50 because of the large size of our group. Instead of turning us away, in the 20 minutes we were waiting, they could have gone across the street to the BANK and had it checked. It looks like someone should invest in a way to check large bills. We left and went to Wendys nearby and got our food with the $ 100 bill with no problems whatsoever.

As the Duke of Arby’s of Carrboro, I consider myself well-qualified to elaborate on what makes Arby’s special. For one, they have the most amazing coupons that come every month in my mailbox. My personal favorite is the«2 can dine for 8.99». It comes with 2 roast beef classics, 2 fries, 2 drinks, and a large order of mozzarella sticks. I always sub out the mozzarella sticks for jalapeño poppers(this confuses most employees), but the computer always accepts it. You have to push them on it sometimes, since the coupon doesn’t mention it. Without the coupon, this would cost close to $ 15. You can also use as many coupons as you want at one time to up the savings even more. Arby’s also gets bonus points for having things that few other fast food restaurants have. Yummy jalapeño poppers, with a cream cheese filling and a gelatinous berry sauce that strangely works well. Incredibly addictive curly fries. Roast beef sandwiches that I enjoy slathering with their horsey sauce(a horseradish mayo). The sauce counter is another highlight, with a honey mustard, 3 pepper sauce and the aforementioned horsey being my faves. And this might not mean much to most people, but the diet pepsi from their fountain is unusually good. And the fact that I basically live walking distance away doesn’t help. Anywho, if you made it this far, congratulations. Stop by my apartment and I’ll reward you with some coupons.

Arby’s is a fast food chain restaurant that specializes in hot roast beef on hamburger style buns served with curly fries. A third of all Arby’s locations are owned by the corporation with the remaining locations franchised. Arby’s has recently changed their menu to reflect America’s changing desire for«better for you food» by offering deli style sandwiches, gluten free food, salads and challenging other fast food competitors to eliminate trans-fat from their menu. The food is pretty good for fast food. Largest complaint, they discontinue the selections you want to keep and keep the ones that are the same old same old.

Arby’s has more than just roast beef, apparently. They also have good chicken fingers, and possibly mozzarella sticks. Also conveniently located near the Food Lion on 54, which is an advantage.
