Wendy’s

New renovation is like putting lipstick on a pig. But if they added a self serve ICEE MACHINE I would still give it a one star cause the people that work here are mean as snakes.

The remodel looks good. Service slow. Chicken sandwich very thin, flat and dry.

Would give it at least 2 stars if my order was correct and at least somewhat fresh. Waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes because they could only take one car at a time, meaning they had one person giving out food and taking orders which caused the severe wait. I heard the guy tell the lady in front of me twice to continue to hold and she waited 4 minutes at the speaker box before she even ordered. When I got to the window it took him 3 – 4 minutes before he even opened the window to take payment. I didn’t get a receipt, my order was incorrect and everything was almost ice cold. Definitely need to get better management to train staff or at least learn to multitask. If I wanted to wait 20 mins for food I would go to a sit down restaurant.

Just went there and they almost forgot my frosty in the drive through and then actually forgot my nuggets. They gave me dipping sauce but no nuggets.

Wendy’s is a real staple of the Carrboro. Admittedly a real life saver come 2 am when Timeout is packed! Older guy in the drive-​thru has the patience of a saint and seems to always add a little humor to my order. Only real complaint being they’re ALWAYS out of at least a few things if you pull up around dinner time. Consistently mediocre, but at least they keep grinding 24hrs!

Horrible service. We waited ten minutes for three frosties, and there was no one in line in front of us. I don’t mind waiting, but literally, all they had to do was fill a three cups with soda and ice cream, and it took them ten minutes. The employees looked pretty unhapppy. Some people who came in right after us said they had just gone through the drive through and they were missing both an order of chicken nuggets and fries.

Worst service ever… Why must every girl that works the window act like a huge bitch? You are being PAID… do your job and be POLITE… I know this is a hard concept as the «hood» and «manners» are about as opposite as hot and cold, but fuck…
It’d also be nice to get a spoon and crackers with my Chilli. Why must I ask for such simple shit everytime I’m here? I wish Carrboro had more fast food options… guess it’s time to start cookin for myself.

What do you expect? We’ve got three fast food restaurants in town, and the others are Burger King and Arby’s. Not much to complain about.
I raided the dolla menu late night on a Friday, and was not disappointed. (Well, the drive-​thru line was a little long, but when I rolled up to the window the food was ready to go.) Other than the spicy chicken nuggets being woefully under-​spicy, I packed away a neat 750 calories at least and went to bed satisfied.
Also, how many other local institutions are open this late? How many times can I get Ba Da Wings and not wonder if there was some other way to satisfy the late night cravings?
