I guess I should start off by saying that the staff here is lovely, attentive, and enthusiastic. The chef’s husband eagerly discussed some tweaks being made to the menu and made some great recommendations. I had an unsweetened pomegranate iced tea that was fabulous with a mozzarella/tomato/pesto panini. I don’t know what kind of bread is used for the panini, but that isht is awesome– so tasty and buttery, plus not too dense. The pesto had just the right amount of je né said quoi. We sat in the backyard. It was very well maintained and each table had a lovely arrangement of fresh flowers. So delightful. Will definitely be returning here to try everything else on the menu… and to get more of those tasty iced teas!

First time to be here. Good food. I ordered breakfast crêpe with mushroom, spinach and cheese. I wish the crepes are more crispy, with more mushroom in it. Probably I can tell the waitress next time? One more thing, I wish they serve our hot drinks in cups than paper cups, as we were eating there. We like the food. Will come back.

Very nice and trendy café. Loved the waffles topped with fruit and Nutella and crepes filled with strawberries with whipped cream drizzled with chocolate sauce. Coffee was awesome.

I work a 10 minute walk away from Park Bench Café & Creperie, and I come here whenever I have time and I want to treat myself. It’s a lovely atmosphere and all the ladies who work here in the evening are great as well. As for the food, I’ve tried the tuna melt panini, some of their sweet crepes, and a lot of their drinks. They also use fresh fruits, which is a plus. There are many gluten-free options which is so important. I also know that this café is very sanitary because on the late evenings that I go in, the ladies are always hard at work tidying up and wiping down all the surfaces. Great food and great staff, cheers. One thing I wish that they offered is a glass of WINE to go hand in hand with my delicious crêpe! That would be a winning combo.

To be quite honest, their crêpe isn’t so bad. It’s a little on the heavier and eggier side than the crêpe I’m used too but it has a good taste to it. It goes well with both sweet and savory. I prefer it with the savory though because the sweet with this crêpe is a bit too heavy. Ham and cheese is best! Will try tuna melt next. They also have paninis

Nice, small quaint place in Carroll gardens. My cousin had the chicken/mushroom/spinach/cheddar/chipotle mayo which was nice oozy and cheesy. The boy got the crêpe with sunnyside egg/bacon/gruyère/mushrooms was aamazingly delicious, highly recommend. I got thr challenge bread French toast with bananas which had a nice touch of almonds and oats. The nutella hot chocolate is divine if you like nutella. The chai latte is nicely spiced and has a nice kick that is more than your usual slightly diluted chai lattes from other café. Why isn’t this place more crowded?

Had a yummy iced chai tea latte here. The large was huge and the prices are pretty reasonable. The latte was a little on the spicy side for me, but I’m kind of a lightweight when it comes to that, so don’t let that deter you. They have a credit card minimum here so keep that in mind.

~Review for take out only~ Went here to grab breakfast/lunch. The place was pretty packed, most of the tables were occupied by young couples or friends relaxing over coffee. It’s not a very big place, but it has a cozy soft of atmosphere. I ordered a savory crêpe to go, Chicken, Mushrooms, Spinach, Cheddar, and Chipotle Mayo. It didn’t take too long for the order and I was on my way. The crêpe was really good. There was a nice ratio of moist chicken, mushrooms, and spinach, with the mayo evenly distributed throughout the crêpe, which was topped with melted cheddar. The crêpe itself was very thin, slightly chewy, and had just a hint of sweetness, which sounds weird but somehow really added to the flavors. It was also just the right amount of food, so I was filled up but not stuffed. I’d definitely go back and try the sweet crepes too.

Delicious crepes but service was ok… Kind of a grab and go place. Not meant for a party to sit and enjoy.

I had the s’mores crêpe and waffle with strawberries, cream, maple syrup Both were really good– light batter, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, crepes nice and thin and the toppings/fillings were good quality and flavorful Also the coffee is good, variety of options and selections

The Belgian waffles and the French toast are pretty good. I would recommend them both. The place seems like it could have a greater potential. It’s spacious and well decorated. I would recommend for the owner to invest in glasses, cups, and silverware meant for patrons dining in. Plastic utensils sort of downgrade the feel of dining in and it doesn’t go with the nice décor.

Went for breakfast pretty early, it wasn’t too busy and I was surprised to see, only one person behind the counter. He took our order, made the food, and served with a reasonable amount of time. For a one man show… Pretty darn good!!! I ordered a savory crêpe and a waffle with strawberries. Crêpe was perfect in taste, texture, and fullness(I’ve had some pretty bad crepes before). The waffle had the right amount of sweetness in the batter and it blended so well with the strawberries! I will definitely be back for more!!!

Crêpe-addiction is a serious illness. I contracted it when I first had one of those warm little slices of heaven in Paris. So, I’ve been dying for a really good creperie in Brooklyn to feed my addiction. Park Bench may just be what I need. It’s a family run business set in a cozy but comfortable shop with a great back deck for weekend brunches. Their menu is as tight as their space — focusing on crepes of all sorts(savory, sweet, and breakfast) as well as liege(real Belgian) waffles, baked pastries, and drinks. We caught them for brunch and had the turkey/goat cheese/spinach crêpe along with the chicken/mushroom/spinach/chipotle mayo crêpe. Both were rock stars and we inhaled them. We’ll be heading back to try their sweet crepes very soon. There is a caramelized apple crêpe with my name on it. UPDATE6÷13÷15: The siren song of the caramelized apple crêpe finally drew me back… and it was well worth it. It was fruity but not overly sweet. My wife had the special of the day — an evilly good bacon, mushroom, and cheese combo that really made me wish I could justify stabbing her with a fork and stealing her meal.

I was a crêpe virgin until this evening. I am so glad that my first crêpe was from The Park Bench Café And Creperie. I went with the number 7… dark chocolate with almonds and coconut and it was amazing! The interior is so warm and cozy and the staff is friendly and awesome. The place smells amazing when the crepes are being made and the taste does not disappoint. I will definitely be back for more. Mom went with the caramelized apples and cinnamon crêpe, dad the nutella crêpe. Still waiting on updates on how those are. This is the kind of place you want to live inside of. Fall asleep only to wake up to the scent of freshly made crepes and paninis. Cannot wait to go back!

Ordered the french vanilla crêpe with strawberry and banana and it was delicious! Texture was just right and it wasnt overly sweet! We also ordered waffles with strawberry and banana but the waffle was a bit too hard and it tasted okay. Being that the place is known for its crepes, you can find both savory and dessert crepes! A sweet spot for brunch :)

The food was excellent! I got a veggie crêpe and added mozzarella and pesto. I also got a hazelnut soy latte with my 50% off check in on Unilocal. The service was a little slow but I’m hoping it was only because of the time of day. It was a very cold Thursday around 4:00pm so not much is going on in the neighborhood at that time. The inside is very cute with a nice clean and quite feel. Some people were here doing work and having coffee or tea or lattes. I got my food to go so I wasn’t sticking around to enjoy the ambience aside from waiting for my food to be ready. I’ll definitely want to come back for a lunch with friends or something of the sorts.

The place was very nice and modern with the homely feeling, and the staff was friendly. You order your items and pay for it and then they bring it to your table, it is not a big space but it is comfortable and quiet. I appreciated the fact that this is a family owned business. You are able to watch them make your food. A little pricy but it is a nice treat once in a while.

I came to The Park Bench shortly after it opened. It’s an adorable café and fits perfectly in the neighborhood. Very tastefully decorated with exposed brick; it has a very warm feel to it. We ordered the gelato which was pretty darn yummy. We asked for two cups but to mix all the flavors as to sample each one. My favorite was the hazelnut and the cotton candy flavor. Despite thinking cotton candy gelato might be overwhelming, it was actually really really good. We also ordered a s’mores crêpe and I inquired about the chai tea that they use. The s’mores crêpe was also really good. You can tell they use really high quality chocolate. And although I didn’t order the chai latte, the person behind the counter gave me a sample to try after another customer ordered one and there was left over. Overall, a great experience and I will be back!
