This company was recommended by a neighbor who had shutters put in. I was extremely impressed with Kelsey, the representative who came to our house. He was friendly, helpful and efficient with guiding me through the different shutter possibilities. Because of this friendliness, their competitive price with the other companies I interviewed I decided to go with Bloomin Blinds for shutter installation. I am writing this review because after the installation, I noticed the shutter color did not match our trim color exactly(our trim is a bright white and shutters are more yellow white– see picture). I thought this was something I could get used to however, this issue continues to eat away at me. If we have the lights on, it is VERY noticeable. I almost feel embarrassed having people over with all the lights on because it’s that bad. I think Bloomin Blinds service and staff are top-notch, however their paint matching is extremely disappointing.

Bloomin’ Blinds did not want my business, giving me an excuse that parking was an issue in my area. I live in a small condo with really convent parking less than 10 yards away. Snooze you loose I guess… I will be taking my business else where. Not customer centric.

I purchased 9 solar shades from them last month; the service and the products were fantastic. I did price compare with Home Depot’s custom solar shades and they were similarly priced. Actually, they were slightly lower in price if you factor in the measuring and installation costs. We paid 50% upon ordering via credit card and the balance was paid upon installation. We were under a time crunch and needed the blinds within two weeks. Our blinds were installed well within that time frame. It was a pleasure to deal with everyone from the company. No hidden costs. Installation was easy, clean and courteous. We are very happy with the shades as well. They block the sun just as promised(I was a little nervous about that). We will definitely use them again when we renovate other parts of our house.

I was referred to Bloomin Blinds by another company. I experienced shredded pull cords on one of my double-window Metro blinds. With one phone call, they scheduled a service call to repair the cords. I was told from this point on, they«own» the blind — meaning they will take care of any other repairs to it should any be required. And I would not have to pay further labor or service charges. However, I would have to pay for parts. The big exception would be if any of the finely-made cords should break that keep the blind straight(not heavy pull cords). That could cost upwards of $ 200 — which I consider expensive. I paid $ 117 to have three pull cords replaced($ 60) during the service call($ 49.99). I would use them again. The repair man also checked all the rest of the blinds in the house to see if work was needed during the service call.

Found this company through my work — they assisted me in fixing one of our customers blinds and everything was great — people were friendly, fast and efficient. I was so impressed with them that I am going to have them to replace the blinds in my home in he next couple weeks! Highly recommend them!

Do NOT waste time with this company. They were supposed to complete an order in August for an elderly friend of mine, to help repair and replace blinds in his home. He had just returned from an assisted living center and the blinds were broken by painters — I called this company thinking I would get great service because they’re «family owned» — what a joke, not to mention a HUGE waste of time. After several weeks went by and they didn’t call and of course never showed up, I called in mid September. «Oh, we dropped the ball but we’re going to take care of it right away.» Fast forward to the present week, almost the end of October — I call for the status on what happened since blinds were allegedly ordered in mid September. «We never ordered them …’ These people do not care about customer service, or keeping promises, or much of anything, I guess. Don’t waste time, money or frustration — go to a REAL company that takes care of its customers.

Kelsey, the owner’s son, was great at selling the product. Everything else about the experience was awful. We spent around $ 4K on blinds and plantation shutters, thinking we’d get a superior product. The blinds look and function like cheap big box retail blinds– not like the custom blinds we paid for. The shutters themselves look nice and appear to be of good quality, but the installer sanded them down to make them fit at install and never touched up the places he sanded. Finally, we expected at least a follow-up call to see how everything with the install went(as Bloomin’ Blinds doesn’t install the shutters they sell). The only call we received was a collection call from them a couple of days after wanting to know where their second/final payment was. No, «how did we do» or «are you satisfied»? Just, where’s our money? To add insult to injury, two weeks AFTER they cashed our second/final check they continued to call asking for payment. We had to call and notify them that, in fact they had been paid, weeks ago. Very professional. Overall, I would not recommend Bloomin’ Blinds.

Bloomin Blinds have cleaned my blinds the last 3 or so years & I consider them part of my spring cleaning routine. They come on time, do a good job and are easy to work with. The last 2 years, they even arranged to have my windows cleaned at the same time, so that was an even bigger plus.

Bloomin Blinds were very knowledgeable and walked me through picking out a black out shade for my game room, a shutter for the entry way and traditional blinds for the family room. I payed half of the invoice up front and half upon installation AND satisfaction. This last part is crucial because when they installed the black out roller shade for the game room, it wasn’t wide enough. They told me it was their mistake and would immediately order a replacement and didn’t ask for the second half of the payment. When the new shade arrived, they called me and set up a new appointment to install. It fit perfectly and since they order everything custom, I was allowed to keep the first roller shade for free. That’s great service and product.
