Staff was fast and polite at the front desk. That means a lot when you’ve been in the car 10 hours with an upset 1 year old. The room was very clean. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I’m honestly pretty shocked this place doesn’t have better reviews. I was a contractor in Carrollton and stayed there intermittently from January 2014 til a few months ago. They just built a new hotel downtown, but before that, Hampton Inn was definitely my top pick for a hotel in the area. Still, it’s not a bad second choice if the Marriott is booked up. The lobby was always super clean. I never had any cleanliness issues with my rooms. The front desk staff was super nice and remembered our names. The breakfast is your typical Hampton breakfast, and the gym is your typical 2 treadmills and 2 elipticals. If you need to stay in the area, this is a solid second choice. I have no complaints.

I have stayed here over 5 weeks for business. I would rate it average, but probably you best bet in Carrollton. Cleaning in your stay is spotty — many days where my trash wasn’t emptied for a few days when it was full. Would by nice when staying to long to have a sheet change and vacuum in the room half way through the stay.

This hotel is not the best Hampton I have ever been in, but it’s okay for one night during a business trip. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was nice. The shower was tall enough for me with good water pressure. The front desk staff and the staff at breakfast were all incredibly friendly. The breakfast was great, and I appreciated the different varieties of tea that they had downstairs. The carpet in my room could have used another vacuum, but was otherwise okay. The wifi was very slow– too slow to use YouTube or Netflix, which was not great. A man was outside the hotel soliciting guests about buying makeup, which I really didn’t appreciate. Good place to stay if you need a spot, but don’t count on it being like some better Hamptons.

Reserved 2 rooms for 2 nights. We were part of a very large family group in town for a wedding. The room was clean, hotel staff friendly and helpful and breakfast was plentiful. The outdoor pool was good size and clean. Hotel is centrally located near grocery, TJ max and restaurants and is next to the Holiday Inn Express. I’m not sure why previous posts only rated it with one star. I have absolutely no complaints.

Stayed one night during a business trip for a client nearby. Looks very modern and staff was friendly at check in. Room was pretty clean and plenty of space. Only complaint was my bathroom smelled like urine. Couldn’t get past the smell.

The cleanliness of my room was poor. My experience with the customer service was ok but if you stay here I suggest you bring lysol. With a room so blatantly nasty I’d fire their entire cleaning staff if I could. The good about place is their continental breakfast, large room size, and its convenient location to food and shopping, but the nastiness of the rooms override all of that.

I travel almost weekday for work and can’t believe this place has a 1 star rating. I base a lot of my travel decisions off of Unilocal and this ranking makes me nervous! This hotel should be a 4 to 5 star hotel. I have absolutely nothing wrong with my hotel room or the staff. The front desk was incredibly helpful and my room was spotless. Please do not base your decision off of the first two reviews. One guys have a 1 star rating because of slow internet… life is too short sir and it’s not slow. Secondly, it’s sounds like the 2nd review got himself in trouble because he was too drunk and loud. The are both terrible reviews. This hotel is above average! I can definitely tell it’s not used as often as some of the other ones in the hotel chain. I would definitely stay here again.

I cant even dignify giving this place any stars but am forced to give it one due to the nice breakfast lady. Im in from New York for a week training at a local facility and they recommended my co-workers and I stay in the Hampton. My room was decent enough in terms of size but had a rather unpleasant odor. I dealt with it since I didn’t plan on being in the room that much anyway. Next was the tiny exercise room that consisted of 1 treadmill, 1 olypitical and 1 bike. A bench and a set of freeweights and some Swiss balls. As a person that likes to stay In shape this was highly disappointing. But then the best was yet to come… My co-workers and I(two females), went out and about town. We came back in around 2AM. I guess they don’t have many guests coming in at that time and probably got put off by the fact that a guy was with two women but the hotel general manager, Heather, followed us to my coworkers room. We were drinking so were a bit loud and we decided to go to my room to get beer. I opened the door and was talking with the girls and I hear this Woman come up behind me and start yelling to stop at once. We then turned to see this woman, Heather, yelling at us and telling us to leave the hotel at once and that she is calling the cops in 15 min. This was all said in a highly hysterical tone. I was trying to calm her down telling her that we would be quiet and that she was the one making all the noise but at this point she didn’t care. She said she was calling the police. She then electronically locked my coworkers out of there room. As the girls were going to the desk lo and behold the police show up… 4 of them. At this point I was in my own room and they kept drilling the girls as to their male friend that was Bald, lol. After all is said and done the cops knew they had nothing and Heather did an about face and apologized to my coworkers and offered a reduced rate?!? But not before imparting a bit of wisdom to them to never let a man talk to them like that… What can I say… if you want a stinky room and the possibility of jail time because you are a bit loud and not of Anglo saxon decent your right at home in this Hampton Inn.
