Pretty good deli food, but a little pricey. Their wraps and salads are very good and I love how big of a drink cup they give you(iced tea-aholic). Staff is always friendly and place is pretty clean.

Good was good but service was mediocre at beat. I was the only one at the order bar and had to wait about 10 minutes before someone came to help me. The cashier was unable to edit my order and had to get manager approval. Just frustrating experience in general.

Called to make a to go order and the lady was just so rude and sounded like she hated her life so much that I decided it was better to hang up and go to little Greek instead. It must be such a hard life taking to go orders behind the counter at mcalisters!

Really appreciate the marketing director contacting me very promptly to address my concerns and make it right. Will be giving this location another chance.

I ordered a Caesar salad today and there was a slimy dead fly on one of the pieces of lettuce! Ew!!! Of course I saw it after I had eaten half of the salad. Ew. It looked like it had been dead for ages and now I can’t order their salads anymore. That was really the only thing I liked from McAlister’s so now I guess I’m just not getting food there anymore. =(

My first experience and hopefully my last in McAlisters today. My friends raved over their soup so I ordered the country potato soup(usually can’t go wrong there)…blah! It was close to being inedible. Tasted like it came out of a #10 can. I tried not breathing while eating it to keep my palate from having to deal with the taste. Service wasn’t bad for chain restaurants on the other hand. The place wasn’t the cleanest, but acceptable. Kids were running all around and screaming which I always hate. I upgraded to 2 stars for the marketing director reaching out to me and apologizing. A lot of businesses don’t even bother looking at reviews and care to make things better.

Average… Nothing special… Just average Have never had anything exceptional, delicious, or wonderful here. Everything is average… Just average. The food, the décor, the service… It’s just average. I’ve stopped coming here, because there are just so many better places in the immediate area. You can’t make it in Dallas being just average.

I love Reubens. By far my favorite type of sandwich. I am one of the few, apparantly, that had never heard of McAlister’s except by passing it by on a drive frequently down Park. Little did I know it was a huge chain restaurant all across the south. One day I suggested it to my wife and we dove in. To my delight, they had multiple Reuben sandwiches to choose from and I was in heaven. It is rare that a restuarant or deli has more than one Feuben or Reuben-ish sandwich but this place had plenty, so I was excited. I tried two, ;) … The New Yorker and the Reuben. I’ve worked in a deli before and know how to truly make a tasty Reuben and I will say I was impressed. The Reuben was pretty good and the New Yorker was also tasty. I of course prefer the Reuben and this one was good. The pasta salad was okay too and I would like to try the soup next time. I don’t think I’d drive out of my way to get it but it’s great to know that there’s a place up the street that knows how to properly make a Reuben and gives you options too. And I also need to try the California Turkey Reuben next time so I will be back.

This place has been in a slow decline for some time, but I think they are close to the bottom. We went there last night and were very disappointed. I had a craving for a good club sandwich … I should have gone to Denny’s. To start off there was barely any bacon on the sandwich. In all there may have been one piece all together, it was all just tiny little pieces here and there also there was almost more cheese on a sandwich than there was meat. As well they also overloaded the thing with mustard to the point where it was almost inedible, and finally they didn’t even toast the bread! who aver heard of a club sandwich that was not toasted? The only thing I ordered that was good was the Coke and the potato salad, and outside vendors supply those. My wife’s baked potato was served without any butter or sour cream. She had to go up and ask for them. The ice tea was good. Finally, my son described his French dip as okay at best. HORRIBLEPLACE!!!

Food is up to McAlister’s standards. However, my tortilla chips were missing from my soup(to go, so didn’t realize immediately. Then, we look to see our soups are barely 2⁄3 full and quite probably not the size we ordered. No napkins in a to go order and not overly friendly service. I live equidistant from this location and the 75/Plano Pkwy location and will probably go to the 75 location from now on.

The subs are really good and they come with one side. Get the mashpotatoes because they are so good. They also do Togo orders and they make them fast.

We go here when we want awesome customer service and great food… I love the .99 kids meals and the spuds they have on the menu. Once a year or so they have the shrimp po-boy which is absolutely delicious! My child always gets the mac and cheese and the child’s pizza. I love the big nasty and a spud so pick 2 is the way I usually go! We highly recommend this restaurant for any time of day! Don’t forget to get some sweet tea and lemonade! It’s very refreshing and tasty! The cookies and other desserts are to die for!

Came here for lunch. Tables are situated ridiculously close to each other which makes it uncomfortable… good luck being able to sit 4 to a table or even two for that matter without pressing the back of your chair to the next table over. Additionally, Parking is inadequate. Chopped salad is not very«chopped» and is next to impossible to mix and eat in the small bowls. Soup was good otherwise the ratng would be lower.

I have a serious problem. I have an unhealthy addiction to McAlister’s sweet tea. I already loved sweet tea to begin with, but when I came here for the first time and had it– I was blown away. It’s on a whole other level. I buy gallons of this liquid gold to celebrate big celebratory events in my life, such as when I graduated college, when I bought a new car, or when my next door neighbor’s dog turned 10. Anytime it’s hot outside, or I’ve had a long day– a tall glass of this refreshing sweet tea is just what I need. This is the only place where they get the sweetness just right, and you can actually taste the tea, unlike other places where the sweet tea is like sugar water. I am so happy this beverage came into my life because I am in love and I’ve made it my life’s goal to find out exactly how to make it like these guys do. Thank you McAllister’s, for giving meaning to my life with your sweet tea. I am forever grateful.

This is a great deli. There are tons of options and the potato soup is delicious. The choose 2 option allows you to enjoy two delicious favorites. Soup/sandwich, sandwich/baked potato or Sandwich/salad so many combo choices. The kids meals are .99 cents if you dine in and $ 1.99 if you take it to go and it comes with cinnamon teddy grahams. Some of my menu favorites are harvest chicken salad, grilled chicken club, bacon spud, potato soup, & chicken noodle soup. Never had a bad thing here. You can choose the bread you want, I love the sandwiches on a croissant. I don’t drink tea but people rave about it. They have Diet Dr. Pepper! Take advantage of the who’s your deli reward card, 9 purchases and the 10th is free.

McAlister’s has a punch card where you get 9 entrees and the 10th one is free! I used this always! Also, they have a similar punch card for their tea. I also use this always. As an unsweet tea drinker, their tea is ! My mom, a sweet tea drinker, described to me in detail why — usually — sweet tea at restaurants suck compared to homemade sweet tea. McAlister’s is the exception because they do it just right! Their food is fresh and delicious and I’m obssessed with it. I seriously never tire of this place, ever. They have everything from nachos(with vegetarian chili as an option!!!), to club sandwiches, to wraps, to amazing salads, to big, sweet desserts, to soups in bread bowls, to everything ever! So they way the restaurant is set up is you go to the counter to order, they deliver it to your table, and after that, it’s largely waiter service-ish. They will bring you whatever you request(hot sauce, napkins, forks, etc, even though there is a table you can gather all of this), and they refill your drink when they see it emptying. Also, they clear your table when it looks like your plate is clean. It’s very nice. The perfect combination! Also, their sides are amazing. Their macaronie & cheese is fantastic.
